Temple City stunned by La Salle!!!

DiFiori lands on his former employer ... and my alma mater!

What's the world coming to? La Salle 21, Temple City 14

The Rams don't play well unless it's under the lights. Everyone knows that. What are they doing playing a Saturday afternoon game at La Salle? You know what Rams are usually doing at that time of day? Eating ... and other things ... not playing football. What's next, La Salle schedules Amat and DiFiori beats them too? I may have grown up on the westside of the SGV and I might even still live there, but I don't like what happens there. Weird stuff. TC was the No. 1-ranked team in the Mid-Valley Division!!!! Robledo, get ahold of your teams.
With South Pas cranking, San Marino convinced it's 1988 again, Monrovia owning half of the Best in the West list, and The Dealer owning what some call the best running back in the West, TC had better pick it up.
As bad as it might seem, you know what Mooney usually does after a loss like this? He comes back and wins league.

That's why they play the game!

You hear that over and over! And every season a group of "men" step up and play the game in it's purest form! You ain't undefeated any MORE! wow what a great feeling those kids must have felt.

Let's not tarnish the game with excuses!

Game over! Like always, the team that wins...WINS FOREVER! The stories might grow and "phantom Photos" may be mentioned but when the horn sounds and players rush the field..opps that happened didn't it, lol. Okay when the kids are on the bus on the way home...and CIF doesn't call by Tuesday and no lawsuits have been filed...opps that happened too... Okay when basketball season starts...

Thanks bleedblungold,

I missed the descriptive part of that post.

Come on ur worst knightmare,

We do not describe kids by race on this website.

No need to get racial concerning broadnax there buddy, dwight is a decent runner but if he were at his true position he easily would be the best in the valley and possibly one of the best in all of so cal, many people out there know this about dwight and many have seen this kid since he was 10 yrs old, he has strength and speed both in his legs and in his arms and hands, his ability to fight man coverage is second to none, but most will never get to see this or his tenacity to get open in the secondary, his hands almost appear to suck the football in, to watch him catch a pass is truly a treat but most will never see it because he is doing what is supposedly best for his team and not just for himself. I pray that his injury is very slight and they are saving him for league play, yes underneath the mask of a running back is the best reciever in two valleys and possibly the entire section, lets hope dwight is ready to go soon for everyones sake, bleak future I dont see any little dwights running around T.C. anymore.

NOW, we know for sure that MONROVIA is gonna roll over the Rio Hondo league, no doubt!

Glad you pointed that out Aram, I talked to Mooney during the week and he was joking about not wanting to play a Saturday afternoon game. It happened last year to La Canada. They were undefeated with what everyone thought was the RHL team to beat, and La Salle blew them out at home. But that was a good La Salle team, not the 0-4 one that beat the Mid-Valley division's top-ranked Rams. But Rams fans know that Dwight Broadnax didn't play, and this team can't afford to have their Star player sitting out.
And for all you Bishop Amat bloggers, get ready ready for another West San Gabriel valley special when St. Francis storms into Kiefer on Friday and takes another chunk out of the ESGV mystique.
