The Weekly Aaron Harris OVER/UNDER game ...

| | Comments (46) |

He's burned more prognosticators this season than the Dallas Cowboys.

NOTE: I was fired this week by the Bellagio for setting bad lines. They said I over did it and made all of my numbers high. I responded by finding another job down the street at the Silver Slipper and here I am back with another high number. Go "under" ... I dare ya.

This week's OVER/UNDER vs San Dimas: 175 1/2 yards

Week 1: 133 yards vs. Azusa UNDER
Week 2: 139 yards vs. West Covina OVER
Week 3: 156 yards vs. Sierra Vista UNDER
Week 4: 192 yards vs. El Monte UNDER
Week 5: 170 yards vs. Glenn UNDER

hey VALLEY GURU
What the heck are you talking about? And why are you telling me to be quite?
Do even have any clue as to what I was reffering to?
Congrats on the win Northview.
And congrats to the Saints for playing a great game even without good coaching.
I know that I am no coach but I do grasp the fundamentals of football enough to know that the coach needs to open up his mind and listen to other suggestions. No one is perfect and coach ould use some pointers as to what he was doing wrong in his plays. Example....how many times did we leave Northview's #2 open last night in the game? And how many times did you have Barbone run up the middle and he was sacked in a matter of a couple yards. They were on him like white on rice. They were ready for him. Were are the fakes? Good plays last night to Jon Joe.

Saints have the potential, but I think that the coach needs to get some more strategic plays out there and utilize his men's ability better.

Thanks guys for a great game last night, you played very well!!!
And what a man Ochoa was for taking a beating form those Vikings!!!

Hey stirring the pot. Shhhhhh! Don't tell anyone. Can't you help SD keep anything quiet. Just quiet down, keep your mouth shut, and let SD get the job done.

SaintB said:

Hey you guys

Is tonights game really a "home" game for Northview? Playing on your own campus stadium is what "home" means.

By the way we are 1-1 on the road.

BRAVETOWN

I could'nt agree more, good luck to your team the rest of the way.

i have a feeling san dimas will not beat northview this week, simply because they are not at home.

Saintb, we must realize that these are just young men playing a game. Whether these kids are from B.P. or S.D., these kids are just playing as hard as they possible can. We or i should say alot of these bloggers are making this blog a joke. These young men are simply playing for their school, community, and for pride. We as "adults" need to admire these kids for their efforts and hard work on the field and in the classroom. Like i said before, congrats on the victory, and hopefully we can create some chaos by winning out on our schedule. We in B.P. do have class and alot of pride In our school.. GO BRAVES!!!!!!!!!!!!
goodluck to you guys, if you guys play like u did on friday, you guys will be a tough team to beat..

Still Crying about the Officials. That's part of any sport - Wake up and deal with it! The refs didn't lose the game for BP- they did!

I guess you think even decision your make is perfect.

If the officials are so bad, get trained, get a suit on and make a difference. If not SHUT-UP or go work out at Jenny Craig and sweat it out!

Don't you get tried of going over the same crap?

FACE IT ... YOU LOST and your boy Harris got PUNKED all night long...........

I didn't realize I was crying about the REPS??? As I said BP had its chances but it is unfortunate that the white hat owns a store San Dimas and graduated from San Dimas. Normally no big deal, however when there are multiple questionable calls this becomes an issue. There was an aiding and abeding call? He called that Harris was pulled into the endzone? Come on get real! Sounds like a homer to me. However, SD won so let's move on.

THIS YEAR IT WON'T BE DIFFERENT HE'S ALL TALK ALL HIS YARDS IS AGAINST TEAMS THAT AREN'T WORTH NOTHING, WATCH THIS YEAR. I DON'T CARE THAT COVINA HASN'T GOTTEN WHAT IT DESERVES BUT COME ON ARAM LET IT GO, HARRIS IS OVERRATED TELL BP TO GET A PASS GAME AND IT MIGHT MAKE A RUN FOR LEAGUE CHAMPS BUT UNTIL THEN IT'S ALL ABOUT THE FARM.!!!!!!!!........ C-TOWN DON'T MESS AROUND!!!!!!!!!!

The Truth said:

"Guess who's back" Well, let's recap some comments made on the blog about "The Truth". Why would I take it so personal, it sounds to me that "stirring the pot" is the one with "hurt feelings". Yes, I'm a BP fan, so I am going to represent my opinion as I see it. I feel that is my right, just as it is your right to say and feel how you feel. " I'm an Idiot", sorry, far from that, it's just my opinion, there are plenty of good athletes in the valley, Barbone obviously is one of them. " I road on the little yellow bus and my teammates use to pick on me then throw me out" That's a good one, I even laughed when I read that. Now, to clarify my opinion, which I believe I'm entitled to is this: Show me where I disrespected the young man from San Dimas, Nico Barbone. In fact, I did nothing of the sort. I said he is a good player, and in fact he is a good one. All I'm reading is " Harris Who?" Well, his name is Aaron Harris, you know, the kid that has his own personal blog page. Remember, the one that you've been writing on for months. As for the game on Friday, Congrates to S.D for getting the tough win.Good luck to both teams as they continue their league quest. Harris is a stud, he will be playing on Saturdays, and Barbone is a stud also.In my Opinion, he is not as good as Harris, but that doesn't mean he can't reach the status of " The Weekly Barbone over/ under in the NEAR FUTURE! Don't blame me, blame the gov't for granting us the right to free speech. Oh yeah, please don't talk about my mommy, I love her and she doesn't even know who Barbone and Harris are....Ha Ha Ha. Good Luck Braves,

Jenny Craig said:

Great work San dimas!! Harris is NOT GOD!! He is the most high profile athlete in this valley period! COACHES DO NOT CALL IN STATS!!! Nobody inflated any stats. The kids from both teams played their hearts out. I just saw the film from the game. 4 very questionable calls made by the same official and 1 made by another. I hate the fact that there are no repercussions for officials. They can make horrific calls and then get no blame or have any consequences! That is the shame. BP had there chances but it is hard to play uphill! Back off all of the smack towards the kids and coaches, all played hard and well. Good game and we will see how the rest of league turns out.

BRAVETOWN said:

San Dimas, congrats to you guys. You guys showed up and played a tough football game. Am i a Brave
fan, yes, very much so, but i can admit to a good game plan by u guys. Do i think B.P. got out coached, no! Bottomline, is two football teams played their butts off, it came down to 1 play at the end, and u guys made it. I do think that the holding calls were total BS. Our receivers havent had a holding penalty all year. But what can u do.
You guys played really well, enjoy the victory, and hopefully we'll create a 3 way tie atop the standings if we can get by the rest of our schedule. Us Brave fans can admit to a loss and our players will bounce back strong.... Congrats again SD.....

Great Job Aram..

The truth just hurts some of you..

Simply stated, Harris has good speed but I don't see much else..

SD forced him inside all night and it worked.

If he can't take the hits, then he better get in the weight room like someone said because the next level is crushing with BIG BOYS.

shhs said:

Aram

Good Response.

Am at October 15
Quit Whinning, BP has been crying ever since the game ended and running their mouth on this blog and other headings all week long..

Too many people have made Harris out to be a God. Unfortunately some people simply do not agree. I think there are many talented players in the valley just as good, if not better.

San Dimas stopped him COLDED and they deserve all the credit in the world.

No other team this year controlled him like SD, even without their main LB Tyler Barbone. Wait till this kid comes back and helps that defense. I saw against Carter and he a great addition for them as well!

You BP bashers need to face facts, SD whipped your butt, so quit crying me a river and JUST admit it. EXCUSES ARE NOT GOING TO MAKE IT CHANGE.

Aram said:

If people want to say a QB has no arm strength, a running back is weak or a receiver is slow, that's perfectly fine. Harris is a high profile athlete and open to more criticism than most other players in the Valley. Bashing would be name calling that has nothing to do with the game and that won't happen.

AM said:

Hey Aram, I thought you weren't supposed to knock kids on this website. I hear a lot of people knocking Harris. The last comment is kind of sketchy and so was another comment saying that he is weak and needs to hit the weights.

A great game was played on Friday night. BP relies on Harris and Harris alone.
SD was aware that BP would be focusing on Barbone, so they set up to let the rest of the team play the game (and play the game well). Great planning by the coaches. SD's defenense was on it was nice to see that they could finally get the defense line to play like a team even without the other Barbone (Tyler, who has been there key linebacker for the first couple of games that they played.)
Where has the "THE TRUTH" been. Did you get a little too overwehlemed with the proof by sooo many other people of how absolutley wrong you were.

Great playing SD. I was fully amazed how well you held BP on the one yard line.
And I haven't seen his name out there, so I was just wondering how come noone has mention Jake Borzilieri #31.
He had an awesome game and Aram....let's see his name out there too.
Lindquist #11 had a good game as well as Palmer #23...but I would like to see #31 get some recognition.
Thanks Aram!!!
This is a great year for SD...they were supposed to be the under dogs and they are showing the league that they are not going to be taken down that easy.

Credit also to:
Ricky Ochoa #7
John Joe #1

Great job Saints we are very proud of all of you!!!!!

SDHSfan said:

SD defense played awesome. Harris was shut down under 100 yards. That is front page news. Barbone was keyed on and still got yards. The other backs got stepped up. #11 for SD is fast and ran hard. #1 was open but the QB struggled.

I REYNOSO said:

114 yards or 98, it is somewhere in between. BP abandoned the run after falling behind. Harris had around 30 yards in the second half.

The fact was SD defense played great. They ended two drives inside their own 10-yard line on fourth down plays, they blocked an important PAT kick, and stopped Harris on a potential game-tying, two-point PAT run, plus The Block.

SD had a trio of backs that lead the ground attack totaling 269 yards. The team avg. before the game was 273 yards. Excellent!

Those call backs on Harris' runs are tough. But BP forced five turnovers and converted one into a score. A great game from two good teams.

Statisticalfacts said:

Hey you guys and The Truth<<<<

The simple facts are as follows:
1. BP was out coached
2. SD had a better offensive and defensive plan
3. SD rushing yards = 269/36 carries/7.4722 per rush.
4. BP running yards = 183/48 carries/3.8125 per rush
5. Barbone only 12 carries 75 yards = 6.25 per rush
6. Harris 26 carries 114 or 98 yards as reported after game by statistician = 4.38 per rush at 114 yards or 3.76 per rush at 98 yards.
7. If Barbone carries 26 times wow, 162 yards...
8. SD moved the ball around to numerous backs because BP keying on Barbone. Great Coaching plan.
9. BP only has one player and one back. One player doesn't win games for you , TEAMS do!

ENOUGH SAID

NEXT!!

Hey you guys

Cry me a river.. WHINNIE BABY.. Oh the refs were paid off. Right, you guys got your butts handed to YOU..

The only cheaters on the field were the BP players. Play the game without penalties and you might have a chance. Your team is in trouble now for league title.

Harris WHO???

JacksBack said:

The main Stat person at the San Dimas/BP game listed Harris at 98 yards not 114 as reported.

Pretty sad coach when you have to call in the wrong numbers. No Class..

The saints defense comes up big and without their key linebacker!!!

hey you guys said:

that was the worst officiating i have ever seen in my life, five touchdowns called back and a safty five yards deep in the endzone.

hey san dimes cheaters how do the refs. get payed at your games cause i need some extra cash.

Congradualtions to the San Dimas Saints. There defense stop our offense on fourth down too many times. One time on the "ONE INCH LINE".

Where was your boy tonight??? BP rolls in tonight thinking their good, and they get their BUTTS handed to them.

Goes to show that when you play a VERY weak pre-season, you are really not prepared to beat the better teams.

HARRIS has been UNDER, UNDER, UNDER, UNDER, and UNDER..FIVE GAMES OUT OF SIX!!

He has god speed and that is it... SD punked him all night long...

If we want to compare ball touches might as well compare pop warner teams BP plays.

THE TRUTH AT OCTOBER

UNFORTUNITY, Barbone is one of the top running back TODAY and in the future. Don't try to put down on a Sophmore that you don't anything about..

Your a complete disgrace to this blog and to the good athletes out there...

Go Harris and Barbone and have a fun night...

shhs said:

The Truth

If you think you know so much about football, why not access the public numbers on both.. and your learn the truth.. because numbers don't lie.

Unfortunity you look like a complete idiot not knowing the facts. Your bet(50+) is completely WRONG..

Barbone has carried the ball 88 times and Harris 83 times......

I thing you are the one on the short yellow bus and your teammates used to pick on you.. then threw you off..

Get some decaf to stimulate your brain....

stirring the pot said:

first of all...umm what is your name- The truth. Let's not take things so personally.
Credit is being given to Barbone because out of all of the area, why is a Sophmore right behind a senior? Where are the rest of the "seniors". This is a 15 year old kid second year playing ball...harris is a senior (don't know how many years he has been playing). What happened to the rest of the area's running backs?
As for how many carries Barbone has...is it the coach or the player that says "hm...I'll play the whole game or 3 quarters of it?" Ok so now that we have figured out that his # of carries is based heavily on the fact that the coach keeps him in most of the game and two- with years of experience (like a senior has) comes the ability to play a more strategic position. Oh and not to mention the lack of a strong offensive line. YOu said:
anyone who knows football knows that a kid that carries the ball 8x for 5 rushing touchowns and 100+ in a game is probably more explosive then a kid that rushes 27x for 125 yards a game.

This goes back on where are the rest of the saints? Not on Barbone himself.

And further more, may I please see Harris' stats from when he was a sophmore playing on varsity and starting?
THANK YOU>>>>I'll be waiting.

And like I said in my first blog "wait til he's a senior..." But ouch...you must have been having a bad day to take this pleasant blog discussion so personally.

Maybe we can meet at the game and say hello.
It is a HOME game for us.
Go Barbone!!!!
And good luck tonight Harris!!!!

The Truth said:

Barbone is on Harris' Tail in rushing, give me a break! I'm curious, how many total carries does Barbone have this season? How many total carries does Harris have? I bet Barbone has 50+ more carries then Harris due to the fact that a) S.D runs the wing T b) Harris only plays 3 quarters of a game to date. I've seen both kids play and the truth of the matter is that comparing these two kids probably means you road on the short yellow bus in high school! What a freakin joke! Barbone is a good running back and will get better through the years, but Harris is completely in a field of his own. Those that want to put the two in the same area code when they are on two different continents must be looking at the numbers and not the player. That kid Harris is the best football player in the valley hands down. Aram, could you give the "True" numbers like total carries so these none believers will wake up and smell the decaf! Nothing against the Barbone kid, like I said he is one of the top running backs in the near future, but Harris is the today, right now, and yesterday. I honestly laughed when I heard " who is better ?" - stop it, anyone who knows football knows that a kid that carries the ball 8x for 5 rushing touchowns and 100+ in a game is probably more explosive then a kid that rushes 27x for 125 yards a game.Good luck to both kids.

stirring the pot said:

I think that it is great that harris (a senior) is doing so well but I think that it is even greater that barbone (a sophmore) is right on his tail.
Tonights game will be a good one and hopefully the saints will realize that they do need to do some of that passing that was mentioned above.
Go Barbone...

sturring the pot said:

Just want to say congrats to this Harris kid for leading the area in rushing...but too bad that a SOPHMORE is close on his rear!!! (Barbone)
Hats off to the SENIOR...sarcasm. Just wait til Barbone is a Senior, I can't even imagine what kind of anarchy he will bring down on the field.

Game will be great tonight and I agree that the saints need to starting passing to the receiver. Good luck....
