here are my teams for saturday: NAVY, FLORIDA, and yes UCLA, then SANTA FE HS (vs. Troy) and HART HS! IF i could just have one though, i'd take the santa fe win!

If Charter Choke pulls out the road win tonight, how do you pissed off LA folks see them doing against EL DO?

randy said:

hey Dan-o & LosAltosFan, "told ya so".......the ghosts of Dec pasts were not going to be enough for Los Altos tonight, sounds like it was a helluva game. I guess you just couldn't get that ball back in the 4th qtr huh? And only putting up 7 points couldn't have helped. Hey, ya made it to them semi's.....it was a nice run overall, those kids ain't got nothing to be ashamed about!

Boy dan were you ever wrong

Los Altos in a big upset, 27 to 24.

Charter Oak will continue to roll 21 to 10

Covina makes it to the finals 31 to 17

Duarte continues to suprise everybody 31 to 27

I'll be loyal to the SGV. good luck to all local teams.

Just like that killer whale who turned on his trainer at Sea World this week, good ol' bluorca takes a nice big bite on these local boyz and has them going oh fer three this weekend.

Ya just can't trust them damn things!

bluorca said:

My Apologies to the SGV...

El Dorado 35, Los Altos 14 (Great Coach and good team peak time will not be enough to overcome raw talent).

Oak Park 33, Covina 10 (Finally, the Colts are playing a decent team to their demise)

Verbum Dei 40, Duarte 17 (VD just too powerful)

Trabuco Hills 28, Charter Oak 24 (I don't know why but I can smell an upset over CO)

GOOD LUCK TONIGHT SGV TEAMS!!!

BRAVETOWN said:

Greetings!

I am Mike the Clone and you are Not!

With that said:

Los Altos 24
El Dorado 28 Yikes!

Note:

Haven't seen either team but my home work say's this will be close. Los Altos is always prepared with a proven coaching staff. Take note "Coach P Schottenheimer".

(Now did you honestly think I was going to post without including a dig at the "bagpiper" head coach?)

Covina 21
Oak Park 35 Yikes #2

Note:

I hope Covina pulls this off. They are a whole different football team then when the 'bagpipers" played them. But who knows everything goes out the door when game time comes.

Duarte 14
Verbum Dei 42 Yikes #3

Notes:
I say this because Duarte just has too many guys going both ways. I have stated all along that I like this Duarte ball club because they showed a lot of heart against my "bagpipers".But when you get into these late rounds having guy's go both ways is a real problem. the games are so much faster and the kid's are more physical.

I hope the Falcons prove me wrong.

Charter Oak 28
Trabuco Hill 24

Note:

There is something about "Sweet Lou" i really like. I maybe thinking with my heart instead of my head. But I like CO's chances.

Now back to my J.C.Penny catalog for more shopping!

I am OUT!

FANatic is in the house!

Just a note to wish Covina, Duarte and Charter Oak the very best of luck against your opponents in the semis. I know my Tartan boys will be supporting you guys as you battle it out to bring the gold to SGV! Wish we could have been their with you, but Redlands had a strong desire of their own to take the Inland Division. And, they will most likely succeed!

Play your games with HEART and DESIRE and, always remember to keeping beleiving and repeating in your head "JUST GIVE ME THE BALL, I'LL TAKE IT FOR A TOUCHDOWN". Thats a winners attitude!

Let's do it Boys!

Los Altos comes roaring back!

Best of luck to Los Altos QB Casteneda. Being the man isn't measured by inches. It's measured by leadership, heart and the will to win.

To the rail men "polliseed" gang and your gracious Dad, who must be so very proud, play like Champions!

Verbum Dei- Hardy Nickerson, Vermon Maxwell, P.T. Thomas and P.T.Johnny (past legends). The school was almost shut down a few years ago and look at them now!

Covina- It's been a great run...I don't see any reason why it should stop. Ralph Diaz play the game of your life. Coach Duffy sends his best and I'll be there to see you and tell him all about your "victory".

Charter Oak- That NFL player mentioning Charter Oak High School rather than his college during introductions, on Monday Night Football, says it all. Coach Farrar your fans and players love you and THAT'S all that matters!

Los Altos-Wonder who will show up tomorrow. And I don't mean Shaun Cody or Brigham Harwell. I mean the team that beat Damien or the team that lost 3/4 games. My hunch is Los Altos will be playing next week.

Open your eyes said:

Duarte your good but just not good enough. The season ends here. Verbum dei too smart, too put together, and too athletic. All the key essentials for a championship team can be found in verbum dei.
