What do Charter Oak, Los Altos and Orange County have in common? ...
... UH, NOTHING.

This division is so random.
Southwest Divsion: The Real CIF: OMG, the Southwest Division is so hard to follow. It totally makes me want to text message Coach Farrar and find out why Trabuco Hills wants to hook up with Charter Oak after hooking up with West Covina and Tustin. And did you see the way Coach Gano was acting on Tuesday? It was like so weird. I think something is up with him and El Dorado. He like totally used Foothill and now he wants somebody more popular. It's so random. The SGV is so full of players. I hate it. I'm so totally done with this division. I wish the SGV would just win it and go back to that smoggy Valley with the trophy.

Coto De Caza has nothing on the exclusive Charter Oak section of Covina.
Aram's semi-normal take: And so it is, the Southwest Division has come down to four teams - two from the SGV and two from the OC. This division has seen both regions fire their share of salvos. Boom! South Hills hit first by dropping seeded Canyon of Anaheim in the first round. Boom! The OC responded by sending Trabuco Hills to West Covina to tame the Bulldogs. They did it. Now, after a little cannibalism, it's come down to four. No more Yo Momma jokes, it's time to settle it on the field. Both games are in the OC. Los Altos won't have to go too far in. Not far enough that the LA cheerleaders will have to fear Cameron's charm. Charter Oak, on the other hand, that's a different story. CO moms, guard your husbands. You never know when one of the Real Housewives of Orange Country will set their eyes on him. Hey, SGV men are some of the most appealing in SoCal. And from what I hear, the OC is a great place to spend your mid-life crisis. Obviously, everybody in the SGV would like to see LA and CO win and turn this into a locals only affair. But there's a good chance the OC could kick us out of Disneyland and settle it amongst themselves in a week. Or, it could come down to one team from each region playing for all the beach sand and smog in SoCal. We'll see ... GET OUT TO A GAME!!!

E.D. 14 L.A. 7, L.A. stund E.D. L.A. got the ball first and drove 70 yards down field like they wern't there! then threw a pick. but L.A. scored 1st. Game was tied 7 to 7 all the way through 3rd qtr. E.D. couldn't remember the last time they saw a game with such a low score. E.D. wasn't as vicious as everyone makes them out to be.
Good players but very beatable!

LA Conq -
They are everything
take away the middle
Van Holland will bounce it out
take away the outside
VH will go helmet to helmet
8 in the box
Coulter will beat you over the top
take away the deep ball
he will burn you on the outs
and just when you think
it's blitz time
El Do says it's screen time
and when pick up the screen
we go backside screen
if you want a chance
you gotta play
bend no break

Since he for whatever reason needs help recognizing and dealing with this number let me try and help dammit remember the #7...Mike McDonough's number...for in his dreams... you know the ones about the A and B teams.
Quote taken from a very wise man....
"7's the key number here. Think about it. 7-Elevens. 7 doors. 7, man, that's the number. 7 chipmunks twirlin' on a branch, eatin' lots of sunflowers on my uncle's ranch. You know that old children's tale from the sea. It's like you're dreamin' about Gorgonzola cheese when it's clearly Brie time, baby. Step into my office. "

if CO and LA are the a-class around here, then why have they not petitioned CIF to move up to the pac-5...you know you can do that..St. Bonnies did that cause they said they wanted to play better compition...So if CO and LA are the A-class around here go and petition CIF and get into the A divisions...I am sure the likes of Poly, Mater Dei, Notre Dame and others would love to play you guys in the first round...i am even sure they might let you have the home game! Just a Thought

Hey dammit..you guys are in the A class...thats funny, I wonder why you guys dont play Amat anymore...oh thats right cause they smacked you the two years you played..and your coachs and rightfully so wanted no part of playing them again...and this is cause CO is and always has been the best frontrunning school in the valley...CO always has the best talent in the valley and they find a way mess it up year in and year out...dont be mad at people when they point out true facts

an annoying...the only thing i figured out is u know a lot about sentence structure and very little about football...i could dot my i's and cross my t's but u guys still havent beaten a valley top 10 team this year...theres 2 classes...the A class...los altos and charter oak...and the B class covina duarte and schurr...what next teacher?

dammit...Let me translate your post for you..... It was difficult to read but I think I figured it out.
I can't wait till I graduate along with the quarterback from Covina. Maybe when I graduate I'll have learned sentence structure, how to capitalize the first words of a sentence, and how when I use I it is capitalized.
I may also by then would have grown up and stopped using someone else's schedule as a crutch to try and compensate for my schools weak performances this year. Hoefully I will have also learned that if a team makes it to the semis of CIF competition, for the second straight year, that they may actually be talented and I should give them credit.
What I really can't wait for is for that outstanding player of theirs at quarterback to graduate so hopefully our talented players, although less talented, will finally get some spotlight.
Isn't that what you were really trying to say?

to all covina colt bloggers...congrats u guys are the most annoying people in the whole world...i cant wait till that qb graduates so u peole can just shut up..all u people need a reality check...that reality check will happen if u guys ever actually schedula a competitor...u played 9 cream puffs and a basketball school this year..aram id rather see the damien qb get mvp..atleast he saw some competition this year

Let me start by saying that was a nice game by Micheal Johnson last friday night...but for this paper to give him valley player of the week of Mike McD is a outright joke....All you have to do is look at the numbers..7 touchdowns in one game (not to mention 11 in two games of the playoffs) oh and you cant say he did it against week teams....That St, Joe's team would have beat the same South Hills team that CO beat...Just the facts people

BIG DADDY ,
That was clutch! Out of the yard funny. Maybe we all need a good laugh with some of the hostilities here on the blog. Colt had it right!
That's my 25 cents worth.

Just a little Football Humor:
A guy took his Blond girlfriend to her first football game. They
had great seats right behind their team's bench. After the game, he
asked her how she liked the experience.
"Oh, I really liked it," she replied, "especially the tight pants
and all the big muscles, but I just couldn't understand why they
were killing each other over 25 cents."
Dumbfounded, her date asked, "What do you mean?"
Well, they flipped a coin, one team got it and then for the rest of
the game, all they kept screaming was: 'Get the quarterback! Get the
quarterback!' I'm like...Helloooooo? It's only 25 cents!!!!

Okay "Big Daddy" then I hope its an all OC final. But I think it would be better for both areas if it was one team from each area. No one wants to stop watching football yet.
I want the Golden Hawks of El Dorado to win but we have to remember this is playoff football and there is no room for error. Anyone can win a playoff game.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL TEAMS FROM THE SAN GABRIEL VALLEY, I PREDICT, LA WILL WIN AND CHARTER OAK WILL LOSE...

I hope Chater Oak and Los Altos can keep it an all SGV Final. I think both team have hit there stride right now and they will get the job done. They both have great coaches and the players are putting in the extra effort. Good Luck to both the teams.

Nice! You know with 4 great teams and 2 great football areas there are tons of storylines going on here. The OC vs. The SGV that could be a new reality show on Fox.
Being from the OC and an El Do Alum we know better then to take Los Altos lightly. They beat a solid Foothill team and seem to be playing their best ball right now. No trash talking here. I look forward to a great football game.
In the other Semi it looks like the OC team is the underdog to a solid Charter Oak team. My guess is 1 team from the OC and 1 team from The SGV will be left standing this weekend setting up a great final. Best of luck to each team. Play hard and injury free.
