HOME COOKING ... (get to a game)

Rowland's fans have it right. Lost in that crowd was Asst. Principal Bob Withers.

QUICK ARAM THOUGHT: You'd have thought we were on Tobacco Road and not right near a crater in Irwindale while at the office on Monday. Hoops fever was in full effect. Yep, it's true. Anyway, my thought of the day was ... What will El Dorado's fans be thinking when Glendora shows up with 500-1,000 fans for a wild card game?

GET TO A GAME! MAKE OUR SGV GYMS HELL FOR THE INVADERS!!!

knowitall

SHHS does not hold a candle to the real "best gym in the valley", which will always be quiet on the nights of boys games (as long as the present coaching regime remains) but the Chicas might keep it going

rowland basketball? coach and asst out of control. cry babies when things don't go well. cif rules state no body paint...i'm sure boo who cries about this rule too.
why should shhs play the farm? they were indimidated when they were in the same league and their principal pushed to have them change leagues. let them continue to play down.
glendora and it's ego parents. do you think your kids are that good now?
south hills gym is quiet. kids are still staring at the best gym in the valley.

not a big tradition...i remember correctly they knocked off nogales in the 80's when they had like a 3 year winning streak if i rememeber correctly and they won a title in the 80's...they may not be sum kind of power house or ne thing but its not like they suck...and besides it not like we got powerhouses in the SGV ne ways

Bird of Prey

EAT YOUR WORDS

YOU GUYS SUCK

Pooner,

Relax big guy...In all respect to this year's Workman team, congrats on the season. As for Pooner, like I said, "Relax" Not a big tradition there at Workman. Have a sense of humor jackass.

Tom,
yes workman still has basketball you dumbass. and if you wouldn't just be a hater and check out the program before you go talking shit, you'd see that they'll pretty good too. good enough to get a home game in the first round actually. know what kind of shit your talking first before you open your mouth.

Good Fans: Glendora has huge crowds and cheer big, but not intimidating types.

Rowland- Big improvements.

Covina- Are you serious? Didn't see you do much at two Covina-Northview games...Maybe, it was because you got swept. The kids call themselves Rice's Rowdies and they were big last week.

South Hills- You could hear a pin drop in that place.

San Dimas- nice program, but so so noise.

Workman- You still have basketball?

By the way, it is against CIF-SS rules to wear face or body paint at sporting events...most won't do anything about it, but some might. I think it is awesome when these kids go out and support their teams like this.

hey aram!...how bout this if workman gets past the first round you do a story on them?...what ya say

I remember colt fans clearly sending out a message to northview even if it was a little explicit :o I'm sure aram know what i'm talking about

listen you illiterate Raider Fan...haha just kidding...you know who this is! but anyways, lets go RAIDERS!!!!

who cares about all thses other school, who has there school as the main pix of this topic? who can honestly say that there fans painted there school name and mascot on there chest? even the fat kids had the balls. and none have the raider rans been kick outta game, we know how to cheer be loude as hell, and still keep it classy and in line of not offending any one while chanting. all i have to to say is rowlands fans are a huge part of there team, and i dont think thell go far with out us.

c/o 07 fans at rowland are the greatest,
and the slleping team for cif this year.

watch out the raiders are comeing!!!

EL DORADO WILL CRUSH YOUR SORRY "DOWN CYCLE" HOOPS TEAM LIKE THE OVERATED-UNDERACHIEVER "LIVING ON ITS PAST REPUTATION" TEAM THAT IT IS!!!!!!!!!

WE WILL BOMB ON YOU LIKE WE DID DIAMOND RANCH, LOS ALTOS, AND CHARTER OAK BEFORE YOU IN FOOTBALL. I'M SURE ALL YOU SGV FOLKS REMEMBER THE STING OF THOSE LOSSES WELL.

PREPARE TO FEEL THE SAME AGONY OF DEFEAT THAT WE POURED ON THOSE SORRY PROGRAMS A FEW MONTHS AGO!

YOU WON'T BE THE FIRST SGV TEAMS ASS WE'VE KICKED, AND YOU WON'T BE THE LAST, BUT YOU CAN CERTAINLY BE NEXT!

DOOM ON YOU! THE HAWKS RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Covina - "THE FARM"

GET REAL!

Still waiting for that pre-season match up between Covina & SH next year!

Bogan is game! Come on Darryl- Step UP!

Those kids at the farm really let it loose while roooting for their teams....if you dont know Covina is called the farm cause, well it's cause they have a farm. I am sure Saturday well be a packed house. Aram get there early to get yourself a seat...The rowdy rooters are in the house! And dont sleep on us in the 2007 football season.

Hey check out the Cal Preps site (calpreps.com) and click on the "power ratings" under boys hoops. Some interesting info. If you go down to Southern under California you can see the teams rankings by division. But you can also compare divisions, which I find interesting. In looking at this year's division for Glendora, I felt it was much stronger than last year after the changes CIF made. Well acording to this system, div. 1A is ranked HIGHER than 1AA and is easily the highest overall. In fact if you look at all the divisions in the state (compare divisions under the California tab) Southern section 1A is #2 in the whole STATE (out of 53) and I'm not sure about the #1 (Oakland). Their overall record indicates there is only a few teams in the whole division. Also, the Sierra league is the #10 league by ranking in the Souther section (not bad) and #17 league in the WHOLE STATE. Southern section seems to dominate. Wow, the Baseline is a tough as they looked. By this system they are the #3 leage in the entire state! Pretty impressive. Good luck to all area teams this week.

Wow! The spirit that I see at other schools is amazing it is great how the fans and administrators can back thier teams to the next level and make parents want to come out and see more!! With gyms filling up to it's capacity is wonderful! I might even go to your school and see a game! Our school if your lucky have two administrators attend a game, you can't cheer while you stand you must be seated at all times or get escorted out of the gym..No waving of towels, signs must have players name only. Can't believe it? Go to a rosemead game it's the most un-spirted school in SGV. Thank god I was just visiting there!
Their team has to be the worst 2-8 next to El Monte 1-9. What can this school do before someone puts R.I.P. in front of the school.

covina high school has the best fans in the valley

Need a ride where? South Hills? That's where I'll be. I have issues in north Orange County right now, something about a certain fantasy baseball league I won in 2002, so I will stay local.

John "Nuttin Honey" Honell will be venturing down to the north OC for this game. I think Glendora is going to spank this team.

ROWLAND IS STILL TOO VICIOUS FOR ALL YALL FANS. PACKED HOUSE EVERYNIGHT BABY ! WOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!

The fans were there at the Damien game...pretty good crowd. We had about as many as they did. I think the dog pound was a bit soft late in the game, but they could have been doubting a bit as Damien made a run down the stretch, not wanting to leave with their tails too far between their legs. They did do the old "this is our house", which so far GHS is 1-0 in. I know there was still a lot of cheering & yelling at the refs late in the game around me. Momentum is huge though, and this team does have some now. It's time for the supporters to come out en mass and give this team every chance to live up to its potential. Should be an exciting game Wednesday. You need a ride Aram? The bus leaves at...

HUGE GLENDORA B-BALL FAN HERE!I've got to agree with ya, at the Damien game I was one of the only ones still cheering on the team late in the 4th....It's our rival Damien and we let them walk in and just take all the momentum out of our squad becase the best we could muster up against them was, "AIR!!!Ball"...I mean seriously, we should be ashamed.I hope they can get buses so we can get a big crowd to support the kids, it is huge for a basketball teamto have that crowd help.

Aram i am a true glendora basketball fan and i have a feeling that glendora wont have as many as fans as you might think. No is really supporting the basketball team this year because of such a horrible record. The only way glendora gets a lot of people to go is if they get buses because no one wants to drive that far on a school night. Even if glendora doesnt get buses you can count on me and a couple of students to be there.
