LOVE IT: I've just seen the next coming ...

Oregon prep phenom Kevin Love will play at UCLA next year.
... I don't know if any of you caught the Mater Dei vs. Lake Oswego game on Saturday on Fox Sports, but if you're a UCLA fan you probably saw it. Wow! I mean double WOW! The game was an opportunity for SoCal to see super recruit Kevin Love, who will be at UCLA. I had only heard about him, but I can't believe what I saw. He's deceptively athletic and looks like a tight end in terms of body. UCLA is absolutely set for a major run with this guy around campus.

I was at the game, as well as when he played agaisnt Compton Centennial earlier this year at UCLA. He is an absolute stud. He's the total package in terms of skill, size, attitude.
Plus, the Monarchs actually have a boys basketball team, fans, and a schedule worthy of a gym of that stature. Nothing worse than an inept program (starting with the coach) no one in the stands and a schedule full of Rosemeads, Sierra Vistas, and Bassetts. Embarrassing! Thank goodness for Girls Basketball. There are grumblings that Wiard may take over the boys (since he already spends time assisting/directing them anyway. Any truth?
Very impressive performance..Watched every second of it on TV.....He is one of the most polished big men to come out of high shcool in some time. This was a showcase of everything he could do and really just impressive....He can do it all, it will be great to see him at UCLA....He should fit in perfectly...The Bruins will likely take home back-to-back titles if Arron Afflalo stays for his senior year which is unlikely but you never know.....
I was at that game,he dominated mater dei's 4 6"9 guys. His outlet passes were great,he is so strong on the block and with his rebounding. The part that impressed me the most about Kevin was how nice and curteous he was after the game shaking hands with many people and probablly signing about 100 autographs for all ages and taking so many pictures. He is a great kid on and off the court.
UCLA recruited a blue chipper there without a doubt. That Mater Dei Gym and locker room/ trainers room was impressive. Our Amat gym is nice but that building makes them look like Mater Dei University.
This is the 2nd time I have seen Love on television. He is a great player and was sick last night. He can rebound, pass, handle the ball, and score. He plays good team ball and on defense can get down the court. UCLA will correct their weakness post play next year. Love is the bruin's best recruit since Bill Walton. Unfortunately he may only play 1-2 years. I am glad Taylor King is going to Duke. He does not fit into the Howland UCLA system play defense and the offense will take care of itself. If the bruins could have signed Kyle Singler they would have had the best recruiting class since the Walton Gang.
FYI, Oregon is home to some of the finest!
