Signing Day ...

If you want to sign, you have to perfect the art of looking "hard" in photos.
Congrats go out to ...
William Wallace, West Covina (Oregon)
Terrence Dennis, Diamond Ranch (Fresno State)
Jermaine Thomas, Duarte (Fresno State)
Mike Harris, Duarte (UCLA)
Daniel Harper, Damien (Georgetown)
Carlton Fletcher, Bishop Amat (Army)
Again, congratulations to all of you. I'm sure I speak for the entire SGV when I say we look forward to watching you all on Saturdays!!!! I had met most of these guys before, but it was great to see them all again and do some interviews and photo shoot at Tribune today. Everyone should be very proud of you for realizing your dream!!!
And to all those who didn't sign ... Remember, it's not over. If you didn't have the grades or test scores, you should know that the world is full of guys who didn't have their stuff together after HS, but figured it out at a JC or elsewhere. It's a setback, but nothing you can't overcome. Also, if somebody didn't think you were fast enough or big enough, the world is full of guys i.e. Jason David who were told the same things, but made it all the way to the show. If this applies to you, hopefully none of you give up on your dreams.

How about the tread mill at 6am or 3am instead of coffee and the blog first thing in the morning!
Get out of that hotel room and move your ass instead of your mouth!

Forgive them Lord..
My job has me currently abroad in eastern Canada. That's three time zones ahead of the SGV. I do love my morning coffee, the break of my fast, the reading of the online SGV, and yes, blog blog blog. So it was 6am....not 3am. Time zones are different and cool huh...geez.
Is your world so small? Are your thoughts so limited? Is that the best ya'll could come up with after I spent an entire 15 minutes coming up with my last post?
I'm so bored and dissapointed with both of you...

bluorca are your for real, your on this blogg at 3:09am writting about Amat wow.... Amat is NOT the team they used to be. there good but not like you put them out to be. bluorca your a good blogger writer you should write a frekin book about amat and the silly pride that they have or use to have thats why kids keep leaving....
Posted by: wow | February 21, 2007 7:18 AM
I'm very impressed with Mr. Credo.
His writing has improved dramatically folks. He wrote in complete sentences and even though he thinks periods and commas are the same thing, it's obvious his parents made the right decision in hiring an Amat grad as his tutor. It's nice to see that there are still parents out there that hold academics up high. Sure, it took them about 17 years to start doing this but hey... Nanny 9-11 has only existed for a couple of years now. You just cannot hold any parents responsible for raising complete imbeciles before the Nanny 9-11 era.
Credo..You can stop the OC facade you are trying to make us all swallow. You are about as bad as that one dude that pretended to be from Loyola, or that other idiot that tried to convince everyone that Amat, Charter Oak, and Los Altos were all academically equal.
No one believes you. We know you probably go to Basset or Sierra Vista. We know you hate Bishop Amat for whateva reason. Perhaps next time, when you are trying to fool someone, you can actually choose ONE OC School rather than claiming ALL of them. I think this was probably your biggest error...Again and slower this time....If you want to fool people into thinking that you go to Mater Dei, Mission Viejo, etc....ya gotta actually CLAIM the school little boy.
All of the top OC schools have rich traditions and history and like Amat fans, they absolutely love to tell everyone were they are from. NO ONE from these schools claim "the OC." HAHAHAHHAA!... Mater Dei, Mission Viejo, Esperanza, Servite, etc, HATE EACHOTHER!
If you knew anything about the honor, history, pride, or tradition that is associated with these schools, you would have molded your lie a bit better and not looked so much like the Smurf that tried to convince everyone that his skin was actually teal. But you know nothing about these schools nor the characteristics I mentioned above.
And now I believe its time for you to go to sleep since it's a school night, and your brain needs every single ounce of zzz's since it put in some double overtime with your two long and beautifully worded posts. Even if you weren't tired, I'm sure Daddy is itching for his nightly attempt at perfecting the art of typing with one hand and Mommy has got one hand under her pillow and the other ever so gently stroking the neck of that 1/3rd of a full bottle of Cuervo.
Have a nice night junior. And when at last the ban of the Reproduction By Mental Defectives is lifted, you can send your offspring to be Amat Lancers.
Huh? There is no ban on idiots having unprotected sex and reproducing?
That's freakin it....I'm out of here!

All you two faced, burn out, has-been Amat fans need to wake up and snell the coffee! You suck! Your a pitiful shadow of your former self! 17 returning starters just means you have 17 kids who couldn't get it done, proven losers at the Div 1 level! Your admin would be wise to continue the practice of scheduling non SGV opponents in your preseason, before the mask you hide behind is finally ripped off your pathetic heads and YOU ARE EXPOSED AS THE FRAUD YOU TRULY ARE!
Enjoy the express elevator to Div 6 with your local losers! FEEL THE HATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by: credo lvr! | February 20, 2007 4:06 PM
It's time is a hater no doubt....Amat has beat CO and Glendora the only true teams in SGV to have the stones to play us. LA , WC , SH , Nogales, Walnut, Workman, Wilson, La Puente, Bassett , SEM , Rowland , San Dimas , Gladstone , Covina....and anyone else in the near by neighborhood...have not wanted or do not want to play Amat...the haters come in here and say this, and tha,t and we could have, should have, but the end result is you do not...you do not play AMAT because it is not fair game and the opposing coaches know they will get a A-- kicking....Coach Bogan knows it. I am hoping one or two of the above has the balls this year to call Verti and schedule yourself into our non league schedule......but be careful of what you ask for....17 returning starters.. look out here we come.
Posted by: MATMTWTBAG | February 20, 2007 3:46 PM
I agree that Hart is one of the top programs in the Southland although the last couple of years they have come down a notch, but I think a Los Altos matchup vs Hart would be an interesting match, as good as Hart is, you have to remember that Glendora had a close game with them in the 2005 playoffs, the score was 32 to 27, hart went on to make the championship game that year upsetting Mission Viejo in the semis & then
they lost a close one to Canyon Country, Amat is not the only SGV team worthy of loseing to the top caliber teams.
Posted by: Dan | February 20, 2007 3:37 PM
ITS TIME FOR THE COACH AT AMAT TO PLAY A SGV TEAM TO END THIS MADDNESS. I KNOW HE LOOKS AT THIS BLOG STEP UP MR COACH AND PLAY WEST COVINA OR SOUTH HILLS OR LA OR CHARTER OAK OR DIAMOND RANCH. PROOVE US WRONG. UNTILL THEN AMAT HAS NO RESPECT FROM SGV.......... OUT
Posted by: its time | February 20, 2007 3:02 PM
Blucora
Its simply YOUR opinion that Amat would have beaten anybody in the SGV.
You guys need to drop down and play in the Inland division because you just dont get it done anymore playing in the Serra League! Do you really think next year is going to be different?
Posted by: Division Change | February 20, 2007 2:53 PM
New York..thanks for the correction.
Hart had a preseason game at week 10? That's unusual and I thought it was a playoff game hahaha!
What Ever...
You really should do a little research before you type away. That way I would take you a bit more seriously and you would not come off as just another hater. You say that you played for Amat but that your sons play for some SGV team. What SGV team remains a mystery but it's probably no one considering you refused to name the school. I don't believe you for one second...
YOU SIR! ARE A FRAUD!
The football program at Hart High IS gold dude. And the same goes for CC Canyon. Take a look at who these teams have played the last decade and what these programs have accomplished...These are AWESOME programs supported by thousands.
Bishop Amat could have beat anyone in the SGV this last year. Amat's short handed victories over St. Francis and Rancho Cucamonga proved this. But Amat got destroyed by Hart. I never said Amat was playing at the same level as Hart was....But it does not take a genius to understand and accept that Hart would have sliced and diced its way through the SGV with their 7-6 record and all.

To correct Blueorca:
Hart ended the year 8-5 with a loss in the semis. So, three of their losses were to St. Bonny's (whom hart later beat in the quarters. St. Bonny's was the #1 seed) and the two teams in the finals. One of those teams, Canyon Country, beat De La Salle in the large school Bowl game.
Not to talk about Hart so much on an SGV website, but they are one of the best teams in the state, regardless of their record. That's why the entered the playoffs with a 6-4 record and still went to the semis. They are one of a very few teams in the last five years to beat Mission Viejo. I think Hart has beaten them twice!
Amat is still the best head-to-head team in the SGV, even though Amat is nowhere near where they used to be. It's a matter of depth and discipline. The kids who decide to go to Amat are a self-selecting group that will work hard and take care of business.
Posted by: New York | February 20, 2007 10:41 AM
Amat is just not the program it used to be!
End of Story!
Posted by: Amat is just average | February 20, 2007 10:32 AM
bluorca, its SO FUNNY how you put hart on this blog like if they are gold and that they are sooooo great and nasty and tuff and that they are in a different level that NO BODY in the sgv can play EXCEPT amat, common amats football is not that good. I know the reason why you say all this about hart is because your trying to sell amat football like they are the best is sgv get over it. you should go to South Hill and tell them they shouldent have played esparanza or go to WEST COVINA and tell them they shouldent have played matre de because they are in a different level they will think your funny. last i hope amat playes West Covina or South Hills or Diamond Ranch or Charter Oak or Los Altos so you amat fans can come back down to earth. Amat was a Great Football team I know I played for Amat but know my boys play for a sgv team.....

YA DONT WANT TO PLAY HART!!!
A Little More Info About HART For LOS ALTOS/AMAT Fans..
Hart and their Herrington Coaching Dual are definitely at a different level. These brothers have been leading Hart Fooball for 18 years with a crazy win record and a boat load of CIF championships. One only has to take a good look at this past season. Hart went a dissapointing 7-6 this season. But their QB Alex Pettee threw for over 2700 yrds. Pettee is going play for Washington next year. Hart's RB Delano Howell ran for almost 1500 yrds and caught over 600 years in passes. Bad news for Amat fans...Delano Howell will be returning next year and is a guaranteed Div 1 recruit.
And then, Hart had this other very good receiver in Brandon Arndt who managed to hold his own with 651 receiving yards AND...HE PLAYED THE ENTIRE FOOTBALL SEASON NOT KNOWING HE HAD A PAINFUL BRAIN TUMOR! For more on this go here...
http://www.dailynews.com/ramonashelburne/ci_4923441
~Also more info can be found about Arndt on Harts AWESOME FOOTBALL WEBPAGE (HINT HINT AMAT AD!) at
http://www.hartindiansfootball.com
As if this was not enough, Hart has LB Patrick Larimore who led his league with tackles (138) Larimore will be back and has already verbally committed to UCLA for 2008! The Foothill leagues 2nd leading tackler is Chris Hickok with 115 tackles.
These stats may or may not impress you but you have to remember that the difference between high school ball in Santa Clarita Valley and the SGV is like night and day. For you older peeps, Santa Clarita is like the old Citrus Belt League except instead of Fo-hi, Ike, and Redlands you got CC Canyon, Valencia, Saugus. They all take football very seriously and thousands attend the games...especially Hart vs. CC Canyon.
ADDITIONAL NOTES..
~Hart lost to St. Bonnys (11-2) 34-0 in the preseason only to beat St. Bonnys in the semi-final 27-14. St. Bonnys had beat teams like St Paul 36-6, CC Canyon 21-14, Crespi 40-14. Ahhhh...sweeet revenge!!!
~Hart played and was routed by Moorpark in the preseason and then again got bombed by Moorpark in the CIF Final. Yep, that's right, Hart made it to the CIF Final with a 7-5 record!
~Hart also played a talented Westlake (11-2) and lost by only a point in the preseason.
~Hart also had the balls to schedule both Bishop Amat AND Loyola in the preseason....routing both these teams 39-16 and 49-21 respectively ACK!!!
Los Altos vs. Hart???
Los Altos would have much difficulty beating Bishop Amat most years including this last year. So I really don't think so peeps. I think Gano is too good a coach to subject Los Altos to a Hart Throttling. This would have been a mismatch this year and it would be a mismatch next year and probably the next 10+ years. Hart is Hart and they are a true farm and they have been competing againts some of the top teams in the nation for the past 20 years...
I mean, common, Hart schedules St. Bonnys, Moorpark, Bishop Amat, Westlake, and Loyola for their PRESEASON and they do this on a regular basis. No team in the SGV including Amat schedules with this level of difficulty.
TRUST US JEREMY, YOU DO NOT WANT HART TO PLAY LOS ALTOS EVER! New York made the understatement of the year when he said "Hart is nasty." Even with a crappy record, Hart NEVER lacks several Div-1 recruits. And neither do the other schools in it's league.
Anyone know if Amat is going to play Hart again next year? I hope so....I DO HATEZ DEM HART INJUNS!!!!!
Posted by: bluorca | February 20, 2007 2:40 AM
Boomer,
At least someone is honest over there at Los Altos. LA is in a rebuilding year and to take on a Hart would be careless. I still like the Idea of a Amat LA game. I think a Schurr LA game or a La Habra LA game would be good for LA...I'd like to see Amat play some more Inland empire teams like Norco or Corona Centenial or even Redlands....I do want another shot at Hart this year and also a Rematch with L.A. City Carson..
Posted by: MATMTWTBAG | February 19, 2007 1:28 PM
Hart is nasty. LA is great year-to-year, but Hart is on an entirely different level. We're talking about a team that regularly blows out Inland Valley and Sierra league teams. Amazingly, Canyon Country is now the top dog in Santa Clarita.
Posted by: New York | February 16, 2007 1:32 PM
MATMWTBAG,
with los altos losing matt casteneda, and rex foss, i'm not sure if they'll be strong enough to take on a powerhouse like hart. it should be a rebuilding year for them next season.
Posted by: boomer | February 16, 2007 10:32 AM
MATMWTBAG,
There is some info on the CIF web site. Not all schools have posted yet. Many more need games and/or scrimages. I want LA to schedule HART or Bishop Amat so bad, I could taste it.

Who Cares,
Great take and your right we do care...lets face it allot of what we sling back and fourth about Amat and LA is all in being competitive. The kids do come first and we back ouour Sons and their team to the fullest. Like all parents who care should. Their are kids and even at Amat that have parents that do not even attend the games. Too busy with work ETC....I am going to have and give the best thing possible to my soon to be senior football player..Heck I did not get that in my playing days so I vowed to one day do this for my child and have held true to it and he knows it...from stacking and buying more weights at home to donating time to the football program wherever need be..........you could not find a better party atmosphere than a friday Football game over in the Bishop Grass parking lot before and after the games. Parents Tailgating ans socializing with one another. Those are some times that you take with you and your son and say we had a great time at that school.....Over at Amat and I am sure not only there parents put in the time with their kids in all sports because we care and it all goes away so quickly....these times are priceless.

At least there are parents out there like him and the rest of these guys who care about what their kids are up too and want the best for them, without saying much more it was more than my father ever did for me.
So who cares who any of these guys are they want the best for their kids and their kids should be so lucky.

Lets see has an ex-wife,son plays var but has 2 more year so hes in 10 how many updowns are there in the trenches (o-line?)
so who is Mike the Clone anyone know???
Posted by: Do we know?? | February 12, 2007 5:46 PM
FeelingU,
My man you see you get it, you “Vic the Brick” fur wearing honk you…. the button wearer's just don't.
They see it as a personal attack on a nice guy. Mark is a nice guy and I have nothing personal against him. I'll say it again "I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH HIS FOOTBALL PHILOSPHY”. I’m not calling for his head like some of the Amat hacks are of their first year coach. I’m asking to surround himself with good people.
What’s funny is I sit amongst these people at Citrus and they are the same people yelling down onto the field “do this” and “do that” and then come in here and defend the decisons on the field and then name call me. What a bunch of hypocrites!
My ex-wife has to restrain me at the booster meetings from saying anything. And you should see me at the games. I’m a wreck, but no I just sit there and take it all in stride and watch my kid do what he can in the trenches.
Sometimes I may not exactly write precisely what I want to say or meant to say but I don’t care what the button wearer’s say here in the blog about me. Some of them are really good people that just have no clue and then there are the ones that just open their big mouths at the games and then come on in here with such gull, and tell me to shut up. Like I’m really going to really take seriously some guy who starts of with “Hey Mike the Queer”…Yeah Right! Say’s a lot about some of the button wearer’s doesn’t it. I know I may not be a saint but come on.
So I’ll sit through a couple more seasons and watch these Bozo “know- it- alls” act like fools at the games and then come in here and call me names while they justify another mediocre season. They don’t bother me one bit, but watching a bunch of hard working talented Glendora kids lose due to poor coaching decisions and people continuing to sell them short really pisses me off.
I am Out!

US New Report shows that Harvard has a range of 25-75%tile of 1400-1580. This is likely on the old 1600 point scare. So I bet the 1500 mentioned above is based on the new 2400 point scale, while the 1280 mentione for Westpoint is on the old 1600 point scale.
Posted by: New York | February 11, 2007 5:12 PM
SAT Standards,
What source are you referencing?
A national average of 1500 on the old 1600 point scale is highly questionable (because it is so high). A national average of 1500 on the new 2400 point scale sounds low.
Posted by: New York | February 11, 2007 5:09 PM

The average SAT of 1278 is very low in todays new standards and recruiting process.

Mikey you should ask Come ON what the flavor of the day is!!! What's with all these Glendora people and their fascination with their head coach, the way they blast you you'd think he was the second coming of Christ himself.Or do you think it's just part of the coaching staff with the directives to rough up the clone. I'm starting to beleive it's someone on the staff. What do you think? Oh and I knew what you were saying about letter of intent day, I just think you didn't express it well.Oh well give the suck ups hell Mike your entitled to your opinion if they like it or not. Mike, you are as slippery as a snake! You say one thing and then try to mend your statement once people catch on. This trend can be seen throughout your posts. By the way, stating you have 2 more years with Glendora, didn't mislead any of us who know who you are!

if u can't comment on things u don't know shit about then why do u comment on football?it seems to me you should be commenting on things closer to home....like mcdonalds trivia, etc.

Randy,
Your asking me about Basketball?????
Ran, I can't comment on something I have no clue about just to be truthfully honest.
I played hoops on a pick up basis, but being as big as I am........frankly......I sucked.

Mike, I can't join forces with the dark side. I'm glad we are in a current state of cease fire, but things will heat up again soon enough, I'm damn sure of it.
How do you boys figure the Tartans will make CIF in hoops?...Chino Hills took first, Damien took 2nd and DB took 3rd.....unless you figure on grabbing an at-large spot? I thought it was only the top 3 from the Sierra league that got in? Correct me if i'm wrong, but either way we'll know tomorrow fer sure.

Well.....
Simple as that, everybody pretty much hates Mike The Queer besides Damien people....
Shut up, nobody gives a crap about anything you havwe to say...You are one of the least knowledgable posters out there.....You have no clue about anything, just an idiot who goes on because one of your kids wasn't good enough for the GHS program and you won't let it go..
Posted by: can't you just dissapear is my idol | February 10, 2007 6:47 PM
To the button wearing Kool-aid drinking "Can't you just disappear?"
If you had a clue what your talking about (and you don't by your post) you'd wise up and learn that the "button wearer's" Kool Aid isn't as sweet as it appears.
Jordan will be just fine so don't go putting words into my post. Go back and read it....nobody signed from "Bagpiper U" on LOI day.So again that doesn't mean nobody will eventually.
Sorry 2 more years of me.
Hey Randy, I'm used to the complacencey at GHS. It's too bad the "button wearer's" like the aboved mention love the status quo. Hope sometime you and I can but differences aside and just keep the comments to the game that we are both passionate about. We are are both adults I know we can do it!!!If anything for the blog and for Aram.
What do you say man? With your knowledge and my knowledge hey who knows maybe we can educate guys like "Can't you just disappear?"

Clone,
Now that your kid has graduated from Glendora, can't you just disappear? No need to knock the school and kids. They have a great program this next season, even better than last season.
Yes, you do knock the kids by saying "How many LOI's at Glendora were signed on signing day".
Edmonds has a choice of interested schools. He will make the right choice, even without your help. How about your kid?
Posted by: Can't you just disappear? | February 10, 2007 4:09 PM
Bigfanofmotown are you still bitter over West Co's come from behind win? Just cause Davis had a better game that day doesn't mean he's better than Wallace, they are both very talented, have some class.
To OMG, grow up & quit being an idiot, Wallace is going to Oregon, where are you going? Do you even play?
Posted by: Dan | February 10, 2007 3:17 PM
The Truth,
I think you meant to call somebody else out. I merely complimented Harris, based on reading his interview in the paper. Also, I am well acquainted with the recruiting process, having gone through it and having coached players who have gone through it. That's why I stated that to receive the big-time scholarships, students must have natural talent (height is very important) as well as character.
I personally don't know anybody playing for Monrovia these days.
To everybody else, most informed people know that highly talented teams often lose to teams who may not have as flashy of skill players, but are comprised of guys who work hard, make few mistakes and never give up. I'm sure if Coach Crutchfield is able to stick around and build a cohesive programs, we will see strong performances from Duarte down the road. It's too bad more coaches don't have a long tenure the way Farrar, Bogan and Gano have.

what ever happend with daniel bernal? i hear he got offers from the navy
Posted by: sgvpride | February 10, 2007 1:04 PM
Hey Mikey call his bluff if the tough guy has the video let him post it somewhere to prove it and not only that have him link it to where we can all be witness to what game he was at. Oh by the way Mike, Glendora won that game 41-16 just for those in the "KNOW" according to Maxpreps.
Posted by: FeelingU | February 10, 2007 12:54 AM
Are you serious? They laid it all out on the field....?Maybe the mouthpieces popping out of their mouths after Chad Young was laying hits...I got the video if you'd like to see the sophomore lighting up all those kids....
Supposedly, Jordan Edmond has some D-1 scholarship offers as well so simmer down with that bull.....
The truth hurts...
Just so you KNOW, 'NO" is spelt NO......Wow, that was a toughy.
Posted by: uhh...Mike | February 9, 2007 11:10 PM
Whoa..........
Take your sophomoric snipes somewhere else.. Dude you have now clue. When we played Duarte those guys laid it all out on that field that night and they hung in there till the end.
So go back and read your "Extreme Sports" magazine............ and hope to hell that your idol "Tony Hawk" doesn't skin his chin on some losers empty pool.
You dumb ass...........ask yourself this....How many LOI's at Glendora were signed on signing day.

UH...Mr. Duarte man?
What happened when Duarte got absolutely hammered by....
MONROVIA
(Yea thats right, what?uhu?silence........)
GLENDORA, also
That's right, Duarte was crawling all over the floor trying to find their mouth pieces after the hits Niles,Bruno, and Ortiz were laying on them. Also, Jordan Edmond ran ALL OVER that horrible Duarte squad.
Posted by: Whoa... | February 9, 2007 7:27 PM
New York not bashing your friend (Captain and starting tackle for Monrovia High past 2 years)But you failed to mention who did he sign with? That's what I thought, quit hating and recognize where the real talent is. (DUARTE FALCONS)

Where is the two time player of the year?? he seems to be missing any idea where he is going.
Posted by: where is he | February 9, 2007 6:38 PM
Fletcher is a prime example of what Bishop Amat does for a student who puts his studies first and foremost...Congratulations Carlton I am sure your Picture will be in our Hall of Fame soon and your inspiration as a Team leader / captian will be remembered with the soon to be Seniors coming up. The last walk thur after the Loyola game from what I understand was very sad and painful for not only the Seniors playing their last HS game but for the Juniors who inherit the team for next year...When you spend almost 6 mos. together and bond as a team win or lose the Amat team would stand together as Brothers. Race was never a issue just a good group of young men trying to acheive greatness together. Altho it was not our year and Carlton did not see Post Season he was always out there on gameday pumping up our team...Fletcher is going to make one heck of a Army Recruit.....Good luck Carlton Fletcher the Amat Family is proud of you.

CHARACTER BREEDS SUCCESS!
NOT JUST GOOD GRADES AND TALENT!
GREAT JOB FOR BEING THE CHARACTER KIDS THAT YOU ARE!
Posted by: CHARACTER WINS | February 8, 2007 9:51 PM
Congrats to all signees and their families. Mike Harris and Jermaine Thomas of Duarte going D-I proves that you do not have to go to a big high profile, powerhouse high school to earn a football scholarship. They did it at a small school, and the community should be proud of these young men. Great job Coach Crutchfield and your coaching staff! Mike Harris you have the height but you also have other qualities that earned you a UCLA scholarship. Continued success to both of you - "Falcons of the Year"
Posted by: Proud Fan | February 8, 2007 9:39 PM
Hey Fan,
You can't teach a kid how to be tall. I would say that the most significant part of catching a D-1 recruiter's attention is meeting some statistics that most kids have no control over, one of those is height. That said, kids don't make it to the biggest programs on natural ability alone. Scholarships are so competitive, that character typically comes into play. However, without the natural tools, a kid will only get so far with a recruiter.
Posted by: New York | February 8, 2007 8:59 PM
Not to bash Harris but from what my friend said...(Captain and starting tackle for Monrovia High past 2 years)..Harris is not that great mainly just has good size.....I hope CLA can maybe develop him..
Posted by: UCLA_Fan | February 8, 2007 8:39 PM
Harris from Duarte sounds like a very classy guy. No wonder he made it to the next level. Congratulations to all these guys. Good luck to you. And good luck to everybody who decides to go to college and play football at ANY level. That goes for all the guys who may not make it into the newspapers...big deal. Have fun. Stick with it and stay focused. It will be very well worth it.

Congrats to all these young men and their families. They do indeed make us all very proud!
Carlton Fletcher...
No matter where you go or what you do son, you will always be a Lancer. We are so proud of your accomplishments and your name will be remembered for as long as Amat stands. You have proven to be the one of the elite both in academics and athletics. YOU are the flame that burns brightly in the SGV. I thank God that he blessed you with brains and talent because there needs to be more MEN just like you.

Aaron Harris didn't sign yesterday. From what I hear, he might be a late signing. But I also heard he was checking out a local JC earlier. Coach Heggins at BP said he'd keep me up to date.
