Comments
Amat instead of pounding on Uncle Tony and everyone else that has a pulse and didn't have the displeasure of attending this once great school...by the way why were they great other than football?...look up the word "CLASS" and see if the definition has the words..arrogant, condescending, boastful, self centered or disgusting in the definition.
Old Uncle Tony is the one with the proper perspective. Oh okay take a page out of Loyola's handbook and act like you've been there before...dignity, honor and respect for yourself and OTHERS!
Wasn't this thread about Los Altos "GIRLS" softball from a week ago?

I like the comment about how we hate st paul and that will never change because that was and still is our original rival. Uncle tony you have it wrong on recent grads having no pride or tradition . What do you think brought them to AMAT in the first place . As you have stated they have not had a winning program so it couldn't be that. What brought them is pride and tradition that was set long before you or I got to AMAT. These kids are proud to wear the Blue and Gold and are trying to continue the things that make AMAT a great place to be a part of . Hopefully your reunion will be at AMAT and you can look back and remember what it truly means to be a LANCER and if it is take a stroll thru the Hall of Fame and see where the pride and tradition was built. By the way the kids you speak of that don't have pride or a sense of tradition are the self centered individuals who transfer out to what they think is a winning program because they were never true LANCERS to begin with. So please don't bag on kids who stuck with the program win or lose because they have earned the right to be called LANCERS.

Uncle Tony goes "Old School" on the bbay Lancerette!!!!
Nice Tony now he'll call his brother and do a blogger drive by...you know how the youngsters roll these days...in packs and from long distance.
You're right about the "used to be" Lancer pride...that's what I loved about the school....NO GUTS NO GLORY!!!!

Have not been on for awhile but after reading this blog over a softball game it sounds to me like the natives are getting restless for football and it is just April. May will start the spring conditioning for football and the heated blood will thicken between BA and LA but for what? we are not even playing one another. As much as I wanted this game to happen , it is not...we talk here about over a few Pops have a round table discussion with all bloggers welcome. Well I would hate to be in there with the Tony / Tone Loc / XXX it would get out of hand. I choose not te be a part of it unless it is a civil meeting, but from the sounds of things here, it has become not only a heated exchange, but a bagging / capping / wolfing cholo disaster. How is it that HS sports can get our gander up like this. Sure we are proud backers of the sports programs and we defend our shools pride as former students but as adults this whole thing has gotten out of hand..this is my opinion only. Let the kids play, lets be positive and not try to downplay what accomplishments the other school makes even if you dont like them or they are your rival...We at Amat hate the SLIME St. Paul and that never changes but this Los Altos / Bishop hatred is useless especially over a girls softball game and a supposed beaning incident. Trust me, if it was diliberate that coach and player would have been bounced a long time ago... Tone Loc (tone it down) Uncle Tony (relax they are baiting you) XXX (the socks thing I admit was funny but grow up). Peace to all.....Is it 0 week yet?

xxx, loc
sorry xxx, you call it turn coat back stabber, i call it supporting my niece, as far as football goes, i'm one of the biggest backers you'll know. alot of those kids that played there in recent years i've watched play as kids. from the rodriquez brothers who anchored the line to william wagner running it. i watched justin fargas come in when he played at notre dame sherman oaks. i'm a backer xxx, more than you could ever imagine. you call it tony trouncing, i laugh about it.
loc, you being class of 03, you have no clue what it is to be part of a winning program. you've only heard of tradition. just reading the stuff you write makes it easier for me to understand why the amat teams of recent years have fallen so bad. back in my day we knew what tradition and pride were. we didn't get the luxuries you kids have now. we didn't get any slack because we had a stomach ache or headache. we had coaches like rogers, killingsworth, claig. these guys were a holes, but, they understood what it meant to be a lancer, and instiled that thought into us. you attended amat, but were you really part of the tradition. i've watched these teams year after year lose to lesser and weaker programs. you kids of late had no heart, we were proud to wear our colors, you only say your proud. we showed it on every sport we played. you say f him..i laugh about it. you say they can keep him, i say keep who??? if you really want to impress someone with your amat backing. show it thru the school completely. you know i have my 25 year reunion this year. i'm sure as usual some of the talk will be the lack of amat pride of recent. you loc dog, or what ever you want to be called, really are the example of what we talk about every year.

Okay ....so maybe the refreshments idea is a good one....let's give it some thought.
I'm just saying what everyone knows...we're opininated, love sports and are proud of our schools. See there is common ground.
Just saying....maybe the refreshments is a good idea...anyone know a good bar?
Besides if I'm correct most of the people here love it when they go tit for tat opps...when they go toe to toe with someone just as opininated as they are...or maybe i'm wrong. Besides I can't wait to be in the same room with a bunch of Amat backers telling everyone how awesome they are....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....lol
pS...leave the kids at home!

I am not cutting Tony the phoney any slack..not after all the grammar inuendos he thru out....F him and LA...they can keep him....LA sucks.....his niece may be a good player but he is a a-hole of a uncle.......I bleed those Amat colors til the end........alumni '03

It will be hilarious in here in a couple of Months with Football starting up. Cant wait for another Tony trouncing......Unless Tony you are a Amat backer during football season then I will give you a break....I know you are if you are alumni 82.....but since you went turncoat backstabber to the loyal Amat fans during Softball season people like myself and tone loc have to give you crap...then 73 chimes in and all hell breaks loose.........Transfer Diana P. to Amat and come back home we dont need you over there at that sorry ass name of a school....

ANONYMOUS,
Between you and me this is just for fun . I have never said anything bad about a student athlete and never will . They have my upmost respect for the fact of the load they carry. If you are getting tired of it do not make comments like the one about AMAT and DAMIEN. Like the saying goes " IF YOU CAN'T STAND THE HEAT GET OUT OF THE KITCHEN" . I truely believe that if we all met over a few refreshments, whichever the choice is, it would all be about fun. In this world we live in where we see death to young men and women and see the sad situation the world is in on the news everyday this is a great outlet for all the termoil we live with on a daily basis. Do not read to much into the posts you see. If someone is that serious then they need more help then you or I could ever offer them.

ok, here i go...
what is so wrong with cheering my niece on, in my first couple blogs i never once put down the amat softball team, only talked crap about the coach for his inside pitch to my niece. honestly, if any of you watched the game you would have seen how the amat pitcher was right on, hitting the outside corner, like clock work she couldn't miss. all of a sudden my niece comes up and gets nailed in the head. how would any of you feel. i even sign my blogs as...uncle tony, proud amat alum, than i get nailed, questioning me for backing my niece, being told by xxx how could you be a la backer. that i should be either one side or another. i even respond that, i'm not a fan of the program. just a fan of my niece. than joe amat comes on and talks about all the problems amat has with thier sports programs and "i" get ridiculed for that. than l-rob comes on and starts getting personal, i question him, isn't this a high school blog for softball...lol, but once again i'm in the wrong...aaaand than the kicker, tone loc, this guy starts talking about his personal problems and trying to say it's me with the wife beater, sack scratching problem, and i'm suppose to just let it go, anonymous, your right. this is a blog about high school softball, and if i'm a trader for cheering my niece on than so be it, cause i'm gonna be there for "her" no matter what. so ghetto tone, when my niece hits the 5 loss column your living on now, we'll worry...as far as being excited about the one liners that thrill you..lol...funny you like them, only someone with your mentality would think their good....george lopez...carlos mancia.huh...lol, sorry but, you truly are an idiot. i tried to be civil with this blog but you guys do make me laugh.
anonymous, i really tried!!...lol

Posted by: uncle tony | April 4, 2007 12:53 PM
lol,
Tony I am cracking up at X and the way he schools you...I have not heard such great comedy one liners like that..this guy must / should write for George Lopez or Carlos Mancia..He most likely is joking with you and he is having his way with you but it is all about the softball and face it young brother your Los Altos team is in deep shit right now........
Posted by: Tone Loc | April 4, 2007 12:53 PM
Word to the wise ...all this back and forth makes all of you look rid-god dam-diculous. You're calling each other out about high school games? talking about each others' mothers like you're high school kids yourself.
And the pity is both of you went to Catholic school...you know where the venom is worst and when the classes are over...it ain't over.
Stop calling each other names and blogging filth. IT'S A HIGH SCHOOL BLOG!!!!! and NOT your local (loco) neighbor"hood" bar. Bishop Amat and Damien are the worst when it comes to getting their "feelings" hurt. Why is that?
All the public schools must wopnder what are they teaching over there? Because you know it ain't "class".
Uncle Tony...take the high road. Know when someone's yanking your chain. Your niece would appreciate you just being Uncle Tony and not the subject of ridicule. Best of luck with your neice, she's a studette, but hey let it go. If you think it's fun to have a "give and take" with the Amat crowd ... guess again. Opps too late I see Amat 1973!!!! just got in the mix...equally pathetic.
Posted by: Anonymous | April 4, 2007 12:42 PM
Uncle Tony ,
Before you bash people on their grammer or reading skills please turn on your spell check or at least proof read your own blogs. Your grammer skills are not that great either. Maybe you should not have cut all those English classes back in your so called days at AMAT. I do question your heart on being a true Lancer. Maybe you were the guy Joe Amat stuffed in the P.E.locker, not the trash can as you stated because it sure left a bad taste in your mouth or maybe it was a Freudian slip on your part. So much for your reading skills. Now what are your thoughts on AMAT rated above los altos in softball in this mornings paper.
Posted by: AMAT 73 | April 4, 2007 12:32 PM
lol, i wanna stop but than i read your stupid responses xxx, so i have to laugh. seriously though. how can you be so stupid, you are just joking when you write your blogs...right...cause you always come up with your own versions of things, never once used that as an excuse, c'mon idiot. read slower if you have to, but thats ok. as far as spinning wheels, jammin my oldies with a sticker on my windshield,..lol.. sorry dummy, this is uncle tony, not tone loc..props to the pitcher for player of the week. sorry i didn't respond to that earlier. hopefully i dont have to read anymore of your really stupid responses..
Posted by: uncle tony | April 4, 2007 12:10 PM
"I wont respond anymore"...Tonto we just keep reeling you back in for more and you keep taking it.LMAO.....Loc is right you win as a team you lose as a team....but my niece did not pitch excuse was horrible for the 0-16 shalacking LA took......Dude their team spirit is down and they could not fight their way out of a paper bag right now..........no response to the Player of the week Bishop Amat pitcher...oh thats right there is no one better than your niece according to your sorry ass......Maybe your white socks are stretched too far up your thigh they are hitting your Panocha you cant think straight. I know your driving your spinning wheels SUV around jamming your oldies with your LA sticker on your back windshield....well serves you right LA=LITTLE ASSHOLE.

lol, tone loc. get out of the hood, "MARANO" nice cholo mentality, or as xxx calls it...
"RAIDER MENTALITY" have you picked up an english book lately, c'mon you low life cholo, grow up.
are you still upset about your neighbor and the wife thing...lol..you got her back...lol, is it the cheese smell you cant handle....lol
as far as xxx goes, your about as smart as a bag of rocks. never said it wasn't her fault, only said she didn't pitch, you dummy. than you wonder why i say you cant comprehend anything. funny to hear you say lancers stick together, way in the begining when i praised my niece, and made it a point to say i was a proud lancer grad and backer, you called me a two face....hmmm, which one is it. i understand your not to bright. your spelling has proved that time after time. probably a public school product like boys in the hood tone loc, but dont contradict yourself stupid. once again i see why you stayed away. everytime you come on here you make an idiot of yourself...your better off leaving the responses to others. seems you've been smelling some of that cheese tone loc is still trying to get rid of. why dont you two take some night classes in reading comprehension, or english classes. get rid of your pompadores stupids, your not 18 anymore..lol
YOU BIG DUMMIES!!!!!
Posted by: uncle tony | April 4, 2007 10:59 AM
Hey Bologna,
I thought you niece is part of the team..all of sudden she was not pitching so it is not her loss...being part of that team it is her loss. Ever hear of You win as team you lose as a team. 0-16 trounsing...BA got in their head and now look what is happening...you have no clue Marano, Now go back under the overpass on Turnbull Cyn and drink that Thunderbird out of bag and get ready for another blowout loss.
Posted by: Tone Loc | April 4, 2007 9:57 AM
tony tony tony,
Never left the site you Jamoke,
I was watching Lancer nation and tony soprano beat you down...."It is not my nieces fault they got beat 0-16"....wow! thats a team backer for you...see at Amat we live and die with our teams thru thick and thin and we do not ever leave one of our teams even if they have a down year..we are backers and boosters all the way to the end...see you LA parents and fans throw in the towel if one kid goes down...step it up and fight the fight you worthless piece of crap.........That cheese is smelling over off Los Robles as we speak....As coach Mora of the Colts once said "PLAYOFFS!" Your talking "PLAYOFFS!"...you may get in but your doomed....By the way did you see the Girls Player of the Week in the Tribune this morning..That's right Tony the girl who shut your team out and got blamed for intentionally hitting your niece....So now lets go blame Aram for sponsoring such a bad person and backing Amat....see it is not just about your niece it is about athletics and our pitcher came out on top....eat that cheese and crow Tone dog......what a loser you are.....
Posted by: xxx | April 4, 2007 9:50 AM
well well well, look who's back. wxxx thought you left us, what happened, get tired of making stupid remarks...lol..yep, la lost by a shut out, 16-0, so did you sit at home and hope and pray for a loss like this. lol...no biggie, my niece didn't pitch so it's not her loss.
as far as tony pendejo goes, i think the only thing smelling like cheese is probably your breath, other than your moms natural stench of the provolone cheese that you grew up on. is that why you put it in your sock. getting home sick.
so lets hear it tony pendejo, send some more of your ghetto slang. haven't you realized your not in the hood anymore. can't you speak proper english. i thought this site was for blogs on softball. how did xxx say it, "RAIDER MENTALITY" fits you perfect doesn't it.
lancer nation,
reading your blogs i guess there's really not much to say. i see the 3 ghetto boys hang out together and speak their own language. hope you guys dont talk like this in front of your kids.
...lol..but you probably do.
well 3 amigos, as i said before, when your pathetic season is over, la will be in the playoffs and you can come down and watch. sorry you guys have to endure the pain of watching subpar ball season ater season. if you want to look me up, just ask for me. i'll probably be the one laughing at you while i'm hearing you try and communicate to one another...ahh...baboso..menso...or what ever other words you hear while drinking beer out of a paper bag.
i am out...done..no more responses to you ignorant people. so hears your chance to say your words. you can feel safe now, i wont respond anymore.

Posted by: Lancer Nation | April 3, 2007 4:24 PM
lol, here comes another idiot who cant comprehend things. why is it that you amat people cannot understand whats written. hey uncle tone loc, you sound like you know the scratch the sack, wife with the neighbor issue. what's up with that. have your own personal experience with the neighbor. you need to let that go. he must've got what he wanted and threw her back to you. sounds like you need some pro help. i dont rememer writing anything about who wrote the article, but, like your other sideline buddies you dont seem to read everything thats written. thats ok. with a name like tone loc, how much can anyone really expect from the likes of someone like you. so, as another idiot comes and goes i'll leave you with this. dont get hurt because the only print your "lancer nation" gets is girls basketball, hey look on the bright side. as long as there's idiot's like you with your wife sharing sack scratching ways. people like myself can get on here and see how really dumb, people like you are. by the way, aeren't you kinda old for ...errrrrrrrr stuff. well, maybe not. later...uhh, as you say..menso
Posted by: uncle tony | April 3, 2007 4:02 PM
Tony,
Sad part is you dont know when your beat and continue to run your smack with X...lay off this is not about you or your niece it comes down to the great Lady Lancer Victory...In the name of the father the son and the holy spirit.
Posted by: LancerNation | April 3, 2007 2:59 PM
Those who live in glass houses should not throw rocks...."GUESS THE TRIBUNE JUST PUNKED YOUR STUPID"????What TF are you trying to say marble mouth......knocking back a few more beers with that wife beater shirt on, low life?...scratching the the sacks, or lack of as the wife gets busy with your neighbor as your out watching girls softball for entertainment....again LOSER sounds like your batch of Hooked On Phonics has failed you once again. Again it must be a happy family to have your niece sprawled all over the paper in a injury situation and a "LOSS" at the hands of the great AMAT LANCERS......make sure you add that to your scrap book collection...by the way MENSO if you noticed or read who wrote the column it was someone else and not Aram...but of course you will all come in and say Aram is Pro-Amat thats why........Glad to see our Lancers keep getting that coverage with that win...let it go Phoney..ERRRRRRRRRRRR check mate....

sports page from the tribune, did you read it today. or i mean have someone read it to you. how did you say it...."not that good" eat crow stupid...lol" guess the tribune just punked your stupid ... i'll save you a copy if you need someone to read it to you. or, just look at the pictures like you normally do, try and figure what it's saying.

lol, your funny xxx. it's amazing hearing in your opinion what is a good response. guess the truth hurts hah, lol..so tell me, do you carry the football uniforms too. you know i'm impressed now. you've actually sent 3 straight blogs with out a misspell. guess having someone check your response does help doesn't it. as far as being a no show for the next few games of la, your right. i only go watch my niece play, so i'll give you that one. you actually said something that made sense. as far as getting punked, well i'll give you the win, but hey. after your subpar season is over, come watch la play in the playoffs. cause i'm sure your season will be a usual disapointment. ok loser, im out. tired of responding to your stupidities...o wait, you can read what that says..right??? last staement from me to xxx...."HOOKED ON PHONICS" DUMMY!!!!
Posted by: uncle tony | April 2, 2007 5:22 PM
Bonie Mahronie tony,
Stop feeling sorry for yourself cry baby...Speaking of washing uniforms, I guess your sister or your brothers wife wont be washing a uniform any time soon right?....Bet you will be a no show to their games now that you niece is not playing......I guess it is time to put the David and Sons down for a few weeks if not til next season.....relax dude, we punked you..deal with it.
Posted by: xxx | April 2, 2007 5:02 PM
damm xxx,
i guess reading comprehension is to much to ask of you too. i mean you've proved on here that you really are stupid. no one disputes that, but when did i once use her injury as an excuse. get your head out of your sorry .., and try reading from the start what i wrote. as far as my niece goes idiot, show me a pitcher in the valley with 1/2 the stats she has. i know your trying to live your feminine side thru the amat softball team, but dont hate my niece for her accomplishments. your one tie to the amat softball team must carry the equiptment. is that why your so bitter, tired of not having to wash a uniform after games...lol as far as your writing and comprehension skills go, i have a suggestion. "HOOKED ON PHONICS" invest in it you dummy. maybe than you'll truly get what's been written by me.

Barrio Boy...???..well I guess thats better than you Ghetto Boy........Stop crying and man up you sorry a--.....I mean your niece is good but shes not that good........There are better, just stop trying to promote her here with all that injury / Bishop did it on purpose BS......SCOREBOARD 2-0 shutout....what happen to the rest of the team???...they get beaned too?..or did that one beaning freak them out that they were mentally done in by it.?
Posted by: xxx | April 2, 2007 4:01 PM
hey xxx,
what are you talking about, so let me get this straight. cheering for my niece makes me a two face, because i went to a different high school than she. that makes me a tonto, boy you really are an idiot. as far as raider mentality goes, where in the hell does that come from. you should just be happy you were able to finish your blog with out one of your usual mess up's. you must have had someone proof read it for you before you sent it out. what's the triple xxx for, is that so you dont have to spell your name out completely. let it go barrio boy.
Posted by: uncle tony | April 2, 2007 9:29 AM
Uncle Phoney,
Your still a TONTO for even playing the two face card of Amat roots and cheering for the niece over at Los Altos..deal with the fact that she is gone for a short time and will be back hopefully but not at a 100%...She should just wait til next year...and then pitch to Amat and Break one of them high and inside....I am sure thats what you already told your Mija right?.....it's that dumb ass Raider mentality that you have......grow up and let it go already. She should be playing for Amat anyway with as much loyalty as you claim you have for the Mighty that wear the blue and gold.
Posted by: XXX | April 2, 2007 8:57 AM
hey xxx, maybe you should just give up before you make yourself look even dumber than you do already.
what does...thants right mean, are you really that dumb that you cant spell????
maybe YOU should stop smoking pot!!!!
whos the tonto..you big dummy!!!

Poor Unkie Pony,
the guy can read....if you understand typos and that the R is right next to a T on a keyboard you might understand a little faster......sorry it was not spelled out perfectly so you could understand it...you must be slow from all that pot you smoked in HS........sorry some peoples brains work faster than others......Uncle T..whats that T for?.....Thants right TONTO!
Posted by: xxx | March 31, 2007 8:37 AM
hey xxx, obviously inteligence isn't to high on your list. dont write the way you talk. try to write things so us people with more smarts than you, can figure what your trying to say.....
..if you have out a on the back of your car....what the hell is that?????
Posted by: uncle tony | March 31, 2007 7:18 AM
Uncle Tony it was fun busting up the Lancer faithful but this reminds me of the Garfield/Roosevelt rivalry. Some people actually went to both schools within the four year period. lol Yet ever year La Raza comes out to East Los Angeles College and has a good time..and some mischief but in the end some Dad's are from RHS and some Mom's are from GHS...maybe this is what's going on here...except one is private and one is public.
Seems LA is getting a couple of transfers from Amat. Best of luck with your niece and know that every athlete who ever laced them up has nothing but respect for her....Mc Nabb, Youngblood and Willis Reed got not on her!
As far as the turncoat comment....boohoo...you seem to know what you're about no matter what letters are on your car.
I just found out I'm wearing Cardinal and Gold and not Blue and Gold for the next four years...imagine that! In the end it's all about family...or as we like to say, "Sin familia eres nada!"
Fight On!
Posted by: Patterson is a STUDETTE! | March 30, 2007 5:46 PM
Tony kiss my bolonie.....Dont play both side of the fence...UHHHHHHHH my niece plays for LA but I back Amat.......your one or the other....right now you are the other......if you have out A on the back of your car add a L please and paint the A red...........you turncoat.
Posted by: xxx | March 30, 2007 4:44 PM
hey j-rob, for the record, la is not my team as a softball team, my niece plays for la and that is the only tie i have to the program, and if i was you, football is a subject i wouldn't mention. especially after the ass kickings "OUR" program has been getting the last couple years. so, i know you try to live in the past, but "OUR" glory days of power football at amat are gone. so j-off, or whatever you call yourself. keep to the subject. maybe you and joe shmo should take over the football program, he seems to have all the answers.

i love this, for the record joe amat, you couldn't stuff a bell pepper if your life depended on it. much less think you'd stuff me in a trash can. funny how you mention your coach doesn't revert to these inside pitches to hurt people, but in your next blog you mention how you stuff people in trash cans...nice...is that what you got out of your years at amat. lol, hey trash day, see what kind of answer...john wooden, vince lombardi or what ever joe amat calls himself gives you. my guess is none of your questions will be answered. cause than he wouldn't be able to elaborate on his hiding in the locker room days..lol
Posted by: uncle tony | March 30, 2007 3:39 PM
Well I screwed that up and and did not spell correctly but you got the message morons......Tio Phoney is just bitter because the bashing is in his court now and he cant handle the fact that his Softball team got Knock TF OUT!..........hey we still have one week open in our football season PLEASE!!! tell coach Gano to Call Verti....Oh Wait we cant do that LA will lose and say we bean them in the head with a football.
Posted by: J-rob | March 30, 2007 3:25 PM
I love Joe Amat. He wasn't there but tells everyone what happened. Didn't play at the Division I level like Verti (UCLA) but knows he's not qualified. Doesn't know the backgrounds of the assistants but knows he could break down film and X and O with the likes of Carson, Notre Dame, Loyola, Valencia, ect. ect. better than they could. Do us all a favor Joe and tell us where ypu coached, who were YOUR assistants were(they MUST be head Coaches by now) and what you W? L? record was. Because someone with your knowledge of the workings of high school finances, CIF rules and regulations and every high school dynamic must have a long and storied career. Or maybe NOT!
Notice how many Amat "negative" angles you have open everyone's eyes to...puro chisme!
Nice... the bully locker room stuff. Did you really stuff someone in a trash can ...I've seen it done and the person in the trash can was a 6'2" 220 lb cholo from 18th and I was a 6'275 public school transfer who didn't buy into the Catholic school pecking order crap. And still don't! Tough for him. I can still hear him screaming , "When I get out I'm going to kick your assss!" At least that's what I think he said...bad acoustics you know. How big was Uncle Tony by the way?
My guess is you're the pecking order king from yesteryear that never got put in that trash can... but you know..... it's never to late!

tia toni,
witty comeback. so it was you in the locker - sorry dude.
if you HAD paid attention in Harker/Marbells class you would have been able to follow j-robs post when he *clearly* said, "...even tho idiots like MR Hate will birn in hell for klnocking all religion..." He didn't say that YOU said it.
But truly sorry about your niece - really. She IS a studette and she'll be back for LA's playoff run.

hey joe amat..."ANGER MANAGEMENT" try it!!!!
Posted by: uncle tony | March 30, 2007 11:44 AM
lol, you guys are classic, hey j-rob, i think you need to take comprehension classes along with joe shmo. i never mention religion in my blogs. or take away from amats victory. only the fact...never mind, you guys wont comprehend it anyways.

Posted by: uncle tony | March 30, 2007 11:42 AM
Tony,
Funny that you mention reading comprehension.I was thinking that maybe you didn't do as well in Harker or Marbells class as you did in Mrs Pascuals class. Maybe we were classmates. Maybe you're the little toni that I stuffed in a PE locker. Are you still looking for the pool on the roof of the gym?
For those that have trouble following, the comments in quotations were said by others - not me.
The comments that I attributed to you, toni, were, " that bad ass pitcher you see posted here, her mom was a bishop amat student, her family comes from amat. so think about this the next time you guys send your remarks." But you also said, "was that the only hope they felt they had yesterday, if so it's sad that the coaching staff had to drop to such a low." Was that "nothing" that you were reffering to? Besides, after scoring 2 runs in the top of the first inning, I'm thinking that the last thing he wanted to do was to get her out of there.
But then I said your little spanish speaking barrio buddy came on with "Maybe after all that nonsense at BA most people realize that Los Altos measures up. "
Then lafan said " ...Its pathetic to see what lows coach Martin and the rest of the lancers will have to do to win a game..."
I hope that it was easier for you to follow this time. No problems, no anger, it was taken care of on the field - as it should be.
And just to clear things up as the legend grows and everything that anyone says apparently gets attributed to "Joe Amat". I dare anyone to go back and find one time when I suggested that the AD should go, or that Nieto was anything but a great hire (my words). I hope we can keep him. Don't really have anything against verti either, other than the poor kid just isn't ready and msgr threw him to the wolves way too early. Someone please refute that. And he could have helped himself by hiring some experienced assistants, but he felt threatened due to his inexperience. Pretty obvious. Nothing personal, but amat deserves better.
All you have to do is look at the decline of the basketball program to see that a change is a no brainer - can't be many arguments there. The place would be better again if there were more nuns and priests, so that was never even implied, except for the bald headed one that holds the purse strings and stifles everyone else from making a decision -including the best boosters in the valley.
Posted by: Joe Amat | March 30, 2007 11:31 AM
Tio Tony Montana,
Your crying dude, but if you would have stuck to your Amat roots and had your Niece playing for Amat then she would have been doing the beaning according to you....since our coach instructs and teaches this manuver.....Freak accident, a win for Amat, a broken win streak for LA, deal with it and move on. No one is downplaying your nieces performance but accidents do happen and to come on here and exploit a player and a coach from the opposing team as some are doing is classless.........We are Amat and we play by the rules and we believe in our catholic faith (even tho idiots like MR Hate will birn in hell for klnocking all religion)...we do not teach or practice beaning........you think our pitcher feels good about what happened?...to some degree sports players respect each other on the field...It is parents and uncles like you who fuel this fire....give it a rest now...
Posted by: j-rob | March 30, 2007 9:14 AM
hey joe shmo, sounds like you have some personal issues with yourself, but anyways. i think if you enrolled in some comprehension classes you'd see that "nothing" written by me, was taking away from the amat win. only the fact that coach martin had his pitcher throw at my niece's head. read back my blog's and tell me were i mention "lancers" on there. maybe you should see a dr, because you seriously sound like you have issues beyond your control, why so much anger in your response..lol, must be the frustrations of having to deal with a sports program that was once the pride of the valley, back when i attended amat. has now bwcome not so great, maybe people like you should step aside and let people coach there teams instead of being the crying baby that you are known to be. so i'll leave it at that.

Joe you played right? Who does the chicken shit things to win...the 8-6 team or the undefeated team ?
Besides Joe when did you ever get along with anyone who didn't agree with your constant complaints and ouster request...least see..you want verti gone. his crony friends/coaches gone, the athetic director gone, the principal gone, the priest gone, the nuns gone, the lackey boosters gone, the basketball coach gone, the baseball coach Nieto gone,,ect.ect.ect.gone gone gone...Hey Joe that leaves YOU in charge. So who is Joe Amat and why does he want everyone gone!
Posted by: Tio Tony | March 30, 2007 1:39 AM
Let me get this one straight. And just when I thought we were getting along.
The blog starts as an LA topic (deservedly so) due to their great start. Noted in the blog is an upcoming LA v. BA contest that sets each side off into "at least softball has balls" (inferring what we all know- that football does not) and "...get back to talking about LOS ALTOS softball because I don't remember this thread having to do with anything that involves BA." Well - they were mentioned Aram's original post. But that's neither here nor there.
What I'm having difficulty with is when toni, toni, toni and his band of conquerettes is "... giving props for a great performance." that's ok. However when the amat folks are proud of a hard fought victory over a good team it is because they
"... want to pound their chest.." As if EITHER SIDES "slobs on the sidelines did a God dam thing except pick their ass and make stupid remarks. "
And yes people are bitching about the loss because old tony the tiger came on the morning of the big game with " that bad ass pitcher you see posted here, her mom was a bishop amat student, her family comes from amat. so think about this the next time you guys send your remarks." Then his little barrio buddy comes on and "Maybe after all that nonsense at BA most people realize that Los Altos measures up. "
Then guess what? - Karma turned that into an afternoon defeat as the girls took care of things on the field - WHERE IT COUNTS!.
So after the game the cries of " ...Its pathetic to see what lows coach Martin and the rest of the lancers will have to do to win a game..." and " Its pathetic to see what lows coach Martin and the rest of the lancers will have to do to win a game. ". Even though all of the scoring was done BEFORE the incident, that became the issue. So yes people were bitching about the loss.
And so tia toni, as you can see, we did read what was written, you were trying to make excuses and honestly, if the amat pitcher has such great command of her pitches that she can pinpoint a shot to the head - do you think that they'd be 8-6?
Posted by: Joe Amat | March 29, 2007 10:40 PM
lol, perfectly said. to bad the amat faithful cant comprehend what's actually written. no one's taking away the win, diana's performance is one they can only admire. that's what i'm talking about. just think, she's only a sophmore!!!!
Posted by: uncle tony | March 29, 2007 9:39 PM
Uncle Tony if there's a war on American soil I want you on my team!
Your mija is a tough cookie to stay in the game. I broke my hand in a football game and at halftime I wanted them to cut it off it hurt so bad! lol Just so I could go back in. I played with it the rest of the season and everytime it got hit I wanted to scream!
Your niece just shook it off and kept the bat in her "hands"! What these vavosos don't understand is no one is bitching because the game was lost. We're only giving props for a great performance. Amat on the other "hand" wants to pound their chest as if the slobs on the sidelines did a God dam thing except pick their ass and make stupid remarks. Isn't their ONE classy Amat blogger? Uno?
But just keep in mind Uncle Tony that Amat hasn't seen that kind of courage in a long time. Que no?
Posted by: LA Rocks | March 29, 2007 8:43 PM
no one's using the intentional hit as an excuse, i think if you read what was actually written you'd see that. you call it accidental, but i'm sure if diana was as class less as amat's coach and hit their pitcher in the head you wouldn't be calling it an acident, but diana is used to cheap shots like that, and if you were there, you would have seen she stayed in the game to finish up. that's how much heart the girl has. hat's off to you diana, you made us all that much more proud when once again when a lesser opponents coach stoops to low levels and throws at you, you just brush it off and go out and do your thing.

FYI: Spell-check, look into it.
I'm not "bashing" god(s), because they are a non-existent entity, a fabrication. I only point out the feeble minded who follow the lie(s).
Just like the inept to believe that someone else is a pervert, or homosexual just because their primitive mind can't wrap around the idea that their faith is a fraud. Go back to the Middle Ages, and burn a few more witches, because they weigh the same as a duck.

Bottom line to this game SCOREBOARD!....Sorry your player was accidently hurt...but stop using it as an excuse for losing....sure she is the Studett of the team but the end result was a loss...take the loss and move on..stop blaming Amats coach and pitcher..thats cop out............Mr. Hate you need some serious mental help.........you are Anti-Christ...I agree you must be hiding something....that your gay or a pedifile......what a loser to bash God in a blog.

i was also at the game yesterday and before diana was up to bat the lancers pitcher was throwing outside and after diana she was throwing outside so yes i would say she was trying to intentionally hit her!!! once again errors killed it for L.A. though thats how amat scored

"for mr hate"
I don't hate catholic schools, just people who blindly stumble through life following any non-existent being in the name of faith. The ignorant, close-minded, sheep that are too stubborn, fearful, or stupid to break the grip of an archaic fable has held them in darkness for millennia.
Instead of beating your chests at the folly of others, shouldn’t you be in the mold of your “creator”, trying to help others, and bring them to a higher level of understanding???
Alas, no, because if you were able to do such a thing, you would then have the intellect to break the bonds of your own enslaver… religion.

Shame on you.

Well there you have it...That Catholic school beating up on that public school in softball over at Los Altos.....I guess that crow is being knocked back with some beer right now Los Altos Parents........
Actually they didnt beat up on Los Altos they got on and scored by errors! Diana-Lynn threw a two-hitter and pitched 6 strong innings and had a double after getting hit and braking her hand...it is sad to see the lancers pitcher throwing outside the whole game yet when this STUD sophomore pitcher is at the plate she throws inside to her head. Its pathetic to see what lows coach Martin and the rest of the lancers will have to do to win a game. Its funny you say they stepped up big time looks like the only one that did was Diana-lynn...
Posted by: lafan | March 29, 2007 10:03 AM
Can anyone beat Los Altos??? it happened and the Mighty Blue and Gold stepped up big time....Hey Mr. Hate the hater of Catholic school....put that in your pipe and smoke it....

hey you lancer fans, congrats on the win yesterday. just so you know, that good sportsman of a coach you have caused my niece her season. having his pitcher throw at my niece's head yesterday and causing her to try and cover with her hand, she ended up breaking it. was that the only hope they felt they had yesterday, if so it's sad that the coaching staff had to drop to such a low. so, enjoy the victory. i hope you dont do this to all the pitchers your coach fears!!

woo! good job lady lancers for beating los altos today!
Posted by: amatfan | March 28, 2007 8:15 PM
Patterson at Los Altos is an above average athlete with a sound work ethic. The young lady right now is a normal, good sophmore pitcher with a good hitting team around her and more importantly a great coach. In 24 months if she stays healthy and progresses she'll be a great pitcher. Currently in the San Gabriel Valley on most high school softball teams there are very few above average athletes. Maybe, a couple on each team. Look closer, the key to the success of Los Altos is Coach Farnsworth on her way to a job coaching in the NCAA very soon.
Diana-lynn is not just a normal goood pitcher, shes a great pitcher! shes thrown 6 shut-outs and won 2 tournaments...if sarah was such a good coach why hasnt she done this well before Diana made her presence known at LOS ALTOS? Shes not to bad at the plate either batting .500 leading her team in RBI's
Posted by: lafan | March 28, 2007 7:41 PM
Tio Tony!!!!
That was clutch. That should put things in perspective. Los Altos is a proud and distinguished school. Best of luck to your niece and the rest of the team.
I see the BA to LA pipeline is alive and well. Maybe after all that nonsense at BA most people realize that Los Altos measures up. Good luck to the LAC and bring home another Championship!

"Gay-Rob"
Don't be hating me, because you can't deal with your own, deeply embedded, feelings of homosexuality. If you're such an OC lover you should have no problems with coming out of your closet. With all the homosexuals in the OC there should be a tremendous support system already in place to help you with your issues.
Good luck in the future, and piitb.

Get off this board J-Rob you obviously know nothing about LA n have nothing good to say. If you can explain how "OC owns LA" I'd like to hear it. Obviously you seem mature enough to type about Los Altos.

"Sorry but it's time" : ) That was big !
(see we really do agree on more things than we think)
And I really feel for the Pius X and Pater Nostre's of the world that didn't make it, The St Anthony and Santa Claras' that are down to a couple/few hundred students from the thousand that they used to have - or the Cantwells and Sacred Hearts that had to merge to make it work. Many private schools are somehow able to educate for less money per student than the typical public school spends.
There are a few amat realists out here that know we need to work to get better - and that is why it is crucial that we stand up for what is wrong, whether it is an academic offerings, ignoring discipline issues, or coaching personell decisions. Trust me, for every blog posted here there are tons of comments from disgruntled alums that find there way back to Msgr and MHPHD either in the way of calls, letters, or empty donation envelopes.
It is not good enough to just say "matmtwtbag" or "on blue"! That is why it is essential that those war crys do not become the high school equivelant of "Commitment to Excellence". We must continue to strive to be the best that amat can be, as we once were and will be again - we just might have to wait until the bald guy retires!
That being said,
"It is still better to have been a Lancer and lost...
than to have been a Conqueror"
I had to! : )

You're right!!!! There was no mention of Amat teams or Verti in his post. Somebody's real sensitive, must be some truth to that statement of yours Bluorca to be so defensive. So get up off your knees and wipe your mouth. You obviously cant see or hear from down there.

The fact that a Catholic education and your parents money was wasted on you is what is really troubling. You have neither the respect for yourself, your school, the proud alumni of Bishop Amat or any school in your community. Parents sacrifice a great deal to send their children to Catholic schools. Maybe even your parents. Yet you come on here and put down fellow Catholic schools without a second thought. You belittle the public schools in the community you pretend to serve. Bishop Amat and other Catholic schools have a belief that they are preparing their students to be leaders by example and role models by their actions. Your comments, however meaningless to you and others, speaks poorly of Bishop Amat and the sacrifice your parents made.
Yes Bishop Amat is or was a great and respected school yet times have changed and your inability to distinguish yourself through tough times leaves little to be desired. You can boast and dismiss the views of others as envy but the fact of the matter is all the negative comments are just a reflection of your tactless persona.
I know my cousins and friends were proud Lancers for life but they have taken to saying something I have never heard before from Bishop Amat Lancers, or from any Catholic school alumni for that matter, " I went there when it was good." The last person to say that to me plays for the Cleveland Browns. " I played there when they were good." Stings don't it.
Maybe it's your competitive mature to always attack and want to be on top but the best view from the top is when people put you on their shoulders.
My dad worked for 41 years changing tires for a living and driving a delivery truck. The day he retired he made $28,000 after 41 years on the job and two near fatal tire explosions that required the hand of God to keep him with us. All eight of his children went to Catholic schools from elemenatry thru high school. We were poor. So poor in fact that living in La Puente would have meant we were moving on up!
But we were never poor in spirit and we had pride in ourselves. Several years ago a parent on my son's soccer team told me something I think might help you. "You guys from Salesian were looked at as the "good Guys". That's why no one from the neighborhood ever picked on you guys. Because we respected you. The truth is we all wished we were you. And maybe if we married one of you our lives would be better." She married a Cantwell alumni who retired from the police force as a homicide detective. He owns a restuarant and the first thing you see when you enter is a Cantwell Sacred Heart helmet signed by all the players. She grew up blocks from my mom's house. "I never knew that!" I told her. Then another mother told me the same thing. They were 20 years apart in age! Seems that truth is even more relevant in today's troubled times.
I have been truely blessed over the years. And it is without hesitation that I say that my high school years were the foundation for my success and the level of success my children enjoy today. My oldest just received his letter of acceptance from The University Of Southern California (and that's his safety school) I know my dad's eyes welled up when my son told his grandpa. My mom just said, " como que no? Por eso trabajo tu Papa como perro.Para que ustedes podian ir ha escuela Catolica!" translated that means " Of course , why not? That's why your father worked like a dog. To put you thru Catholic school!" Her voice is filled with pride and acknowledgement of their conviction. To succeed there must be sacrifice.
For that reason I ask you to stop belittling yourself and the school you represent. Because ultimately you represent a larger faternity of men and women who's parents are not always priviledged but never anything less than honorable. For every Damien, Mater Dei, Loyola, La Salle and Santa Margarita there is a Cathedral, Serra, Verbum Dei, Salesian that struggles to make ends meet. Struggles to find teachers(alumni) that are willing to sacrifice and give back to the schools they love and respect. Struggles to stay open and be that example to their communities they serve. We have alot of pride at Salesain and most of that pride comes from knowing we are the chosen ones. Not because of some twisted sense of self importance but because we were the ones who had parents that chose to sacrifice their life's work for our benefit. My dad did not drive a new car until he was 62 years old. My father and mother do not speak English yet both are citizens.
When you belittled Verbum Dei that was it for me. They are our brothers, at least they are mine. I know their sacrifice to stay open, to educate their boys and the constant strugggles to make ends meet and to produce outstanding students, citizens and athletes. Same as Salesian. We both won CIF Championships this year against all odds. Our classroom success is even more impressive. The Pride is Back, that's Salesian's motto and I believe Verbum Dei could use it as well. We don't bitch and complain about our school or put down our surrounding community because we "are" our community and will be forever gracious for our God given good fortune. " Mighty Are The Parents Who Sacrifice Against All Odds"
Just give it some thought Bluorca and the Amat bloggers. Your school, the once proud Bishop Amat, used to be an example of the best both on and off the field. Bloggers have said so many may times. That's why your stands are full. That's why kids want to play for the big "A". That's why the community takes pride in "your" success, because you used to be a beacon of hope, integrity and honor.
Seems to me that your football team is the least of your worries. Maybe one day I'll hear that rallying cry come from Bishop Amat as well, "The Pride is Back!" As for me my money and energies will continue to find their way back to the school I love, admire and respect - The Mighty Mighty Mustangs of Bishop Mora Salesian High School! My Damien boys will love their school as I love mine and will be Spartans for life. But they'll know "true" success comes with sacrifice.
Good luck finding your way back.

Your absolutely right Shamu,
6 of the 10 teams Amat played were ranked by the LA Times. But again, how many of those teams were D1? That only proves that Amat can't hang with D1 or even D2 talent. And where was Amat ranked by the Times and when?, right!!. And where will Amat be ranked this coming season?, right!!!. Nowhere in football, the remainder of this decade.
Your Poly reference is as old as you, pops. My knowledge does span more than 3 years, but I choose to remain relevant. Thats something you have no clue about. Those crickets you hear have taken up home at Keiffer, old timer. Be careful, wouldn't want you to fall there and end up with your cane up your ass. Oops, too late!!!!
Posted by: Black & Bluorca | March 27, 2007 9:47 AM
You poor souls...
6 out of the 10 teams that Bishop Amat played this last season in football were at one time or another ranked in the top 25 of the Los Angeles Times. That's all of the Southern Section...Including the SGV....THATS 564...yep...564 schools!
Long Beach Poly and Amat are common old foes both in the preseason and the playoffs....If your knowledge spanned longer than the last 3 years, you would already know this. OH YEAH! And Amat owns a 7-3 advantage over the Jackrabbits!
U feel silly now don't u....
The only LAT ranked team that Los Altos faced was El Dorado...the last game of the season. And FYI, El Dorado got smoked by Esperanza 32-14.
But now I know what's coming next...the old "who cares about the LAT rankings!" hahahaha!
This crap is so old...I'm done here.
Posted by: bluorca | March 27, 2007 6:07 AM
Hey Black & Bluorca,
How many D1 schools did Amat schedule and play this past preseason? Zero, nada and Amat only had 3 league games. Pathetic for the "Mighty" BA. How about you practice what you preach. Your preseason/nonleague rcord was 4-3. Thats real dominance there buddy. None of the wins were impressive, you squeaked out 3 of the 4 wins. Oh yeah, 2 of your 3 league games were against teams that just came into D1 and you got beat like you stole something. Loyola was the third game, and you barely beat them in OT and they are "rebuilding" too.
Why not call the Jackrabbits at LB Poly. I'm sure Long Beach Poly would love to kick your sorry asses too. No!!! Not Poly..., too tough? Ok, pick any other D1 school then. Oh yeah, thats right, all of the Valley, LA and the OC schools have too much money for poor little BA to compete.
So be a good boy and go home to Msgr, I mean mommy, play in your back yard and beat up on your little bros and sisters because thats all you can do. Just like a punk.
The only thing shining at Amat is Msgr.'s smile, when he looks at his bank statement.

I think BA gets a bad rap. Not everyone at BA is representative of Bluorcian spouts. Most of the players from both schools get along. We've either seen each other at tournaments or played on the same teams. Why do some parents not understand that teaching your kids how to be good sports begins at home and by example. Most of the parents who come on here and start bagging on each other mean well but it's totally uncool. Besides why do parents feel the need to rip on a high school athlete when there are professional sports blogs to bag on professional athletes?
Grow up parents and be a better example to your kids.

Okay blucora as far as "D1 powerhouses" we've scheduled none. Does that make you happy? I guess you sleep better at night knowing LA doesn't play those teams and gets there wins while Amat gets hammered and misses the playoffs year after year.
Get a clue Amat fans you guys are being disliked more and more by everyone else with your bragging and complaining.
