Rock Chalk Who? but that is not why i am hear...does anyone get the feeling this whole UCLA-Florida game is setting up alot like a game that took place 15 years ago in the final four...i am talking about Duke-UNLV in 1991, a year after UNLV destroyed Duke in the finals...Duke came back the next year to play the defending Champs in the final four and shocked them on the way to the championship...could it be destiny for the Bruins?

Walton can defend NO ONE!!! And in this league if you can not defend you better put up big numbers. Walton sucks! Case closed.
Every year that prima donna is in a Laker uniform is another year the Lakers have to cover his ass on defense. Name one person he beats with consistency or better yet name one team that doesn't abuse Walton in the fourth quarter?
Walton is over rated.

Big Reg...i am afraid i am going to have to admit that i think you are going to be right with your final four (dame i hate admitting being wrong)....but as far as the list of jayhawks turning pro and being any good...well, with that list you might as well call them Duke (great college players that = 12th men in the nba)....As for Lakers need firepower, how about this for Luke Walton not being a vaulable commodtiy=Lakers with Walton 28-17 without 7-15 the kid can play and plays well in this system...Lakers dont need Pierce, Stevey (kill a) Franchise or Ron (dont you dare call the police) Artest...what they need is to stay healthy and more experience...they still the 2nd or 3rd youngest team in the league...peace

7 of my Great 8 teams are still alive. Whoooohooo!
How's everyone else doing?
-Reg
ps judging by the low number of posts on here I have to ask - am I the only one being tentative to March Madness?

Paul Pierce in a Laker uniform would be nice.
This guy plays in the physical East and battles all comers without backing down. But the Lakers need to realize they have NO first tier players on their team but KOBE!
Walton only starts on the Lakers, Jazz and Celtics and it's NOT because of his vertical leaping ability. (wink wink) What a Prima Donna! Great offensive vision and passing skills but does every team back door this guy night after night. Get me Ron Artest with his problems.
Kwame Brown is a total bust! Rock hands and no balls. There are no centers born in the USA that play as poorly night in and night out as KB!
Turiaf is a "play to the crowd" second stringer. Give me Corliss Williamson any day of the week!
Odom was once considered the best player of his generation,he played against college players since the 8th grade, and look at him now...a whole lot of maybe and very little "I'm the man! Get out of my way!"
Bynum, future stud. 12 year player with tremendous upside. And Kobe loves him but hey Kobe can't last forever. GET KEVIN GARNETT and give up Bynum, Farmar and Turiaf or Mims for KG!
Smush Parker is the best CBA player in the world...if the league existed. NO DEFENSE other than the occassional steal. Bring Steve Francis !
Laker line up:
Steve Francis at the 1
Kobe Bryant at the 2
Lamar Odom at the 3
Ron Artest at the 4
KG at the 5
Sixth man ...Paul Pierce

Living Legend - So sorry it's going to turn out that way.
I forgot to mention Jacque Vaughn - Pasadena product, Raef LaFrenz and yes "Official Illegal Street Drug Spokesperson of the NBA" Scot Pollard.
Jayhawks will hopefully have their 3rd NCAA Basketball Championship here in 2007.
Good Luck Jayhawks.
And I hope Paul Pierce becomes a Laker soon.

PS As far as the Clippers bein' the curse of young NBA players careers - I agree 100% - Get Well Livingston.
anyone know who Aram's got?
Posted by: Big Reg | March 17, 2007 12:23 AM
You want to know why Danny Manning's career went down the drain..the same reason so many others go that way...danny and many others have had the not so great privlege of playing for the Clippers...the Clippers are the seriel killer of career's in the NBA....oh hey Reg way to go with all four number 1 seeds in the final four...good thing that has not happened in 20 years
Oh and look for a UCLA and GEORGETOWN final...with Arron Affalo to step up with the best game of his career, in what will also be his last game at UCLA

In a BCS football rematch, Ted Ginn Jr. will dunk on Noah, a teammate will tackle him and shatter his ankle, and the Gators will roll from there. Florida wins vs. Ohio State in the finals.
