I've made it so any comments using bad words won't make the site. It will be caught, flagged and not published. If you see something that says: "Thank You for Commenting
Your comment has been received. To protect against malicious comments, I have enabled a feature that allows your comments to be held for approval the first time you post a comment. I'll approve your comment when convenient; there is no need to re-post your comment. Return to the comment page" ... you know you've done something. Go back, clean it up and try again.

Good for you, the boundaries need to be defined somewhere. One should assume that we are all adults. (Although some of us forget to act accordingly at times).
Props to you and your staff for taking a stance. =)

My God what's up with these paranoid people and their physco babble. Just clean it up people and you won’t have a problem. Seems like a pretty simple concept to me…what don’t they get about that?

And this legal “mumble jumble” is just plain laughable. As I see it he is just exercising his editorial right to monitor his blog which also happens to be owned by his employer.

I can’t believe some of you…gezzzz.

OH NO…you have my I.P. Address...ok that does it...for goodness sakes Aram be a pal will you and please pass it on to Nisha for me.

(Laughing)

GOOD NIGHT NOW!

Anonymous,

Very sorry, but if you continue to post using offensive language and make vulgar remarks, I have every right to block your IP address. It's not "outing" you, it's blocking you. I can and do that right now for IP addresses associated with advertisers.

Legal Issues

Quite interesting! I had a situation with a woman employee who was being harassed on our company email system along with dirty phone calls. Treats weren’t directly made against her but the language content and stalking was.

We had to get court approval to tap the phones and his email address. Interesting enough the information didn’t come directly to us; it went into the police dept. Then they went out and confronted the man at his home. The detectives claim the guy was married and broke down upon interrogation. Then we didn’t press charges because the police believed he didn’t want to ruin his family or wanted his wife to find out!

The point is, the tribune needs to be very careful here, because the law is really weird with phone and email crap. Go figure, Bush can tract our conversations by the new national securities act but we have to go through red tape!!

Be careful with IP addresses. Talk with legal staff, they are protected by "Privacy Act".

Dear Aram
This is very disapp, I am praying for you, I think that fame is getting to your head, you are becoming a big conglomerate enterprize (sorry I got dizzy with these words)who has resorted to censore us like big brother US government. Additionally you have became a victim of the great cloud of political correctness and sensitiveness that is hanging over us.
Don't you realize this forum keep us from physically lashing at our HS coaches and fellow kiss ass parents while our kids sit on the bench. Foul language is just an expression of the pen, a punching bag that relieves our tension from the everyday pressure we receive from our bosses , wives and fellow HS coaches. And now you have fallen victim of these goodie goodie parents who shouldnt even be on this blog. I know you love the smack, you are problaby one of those guys who was not very athletic and had to resort to the smack (no offense), its in your blood i can feel it.
Where have gone Aram? Where has your free spirit gone?
