That's two O-Linemen DEAD ...
Bonita's Kevin Normington and now South Hills' Daniel Stroud, dead in car accidents. What's that tell you? I know the circumstances might be different, but the bottom line remains the same. These guys are the big nasties. They're the baddest dudes on the team, big uglies if you will. But not even they can survive a catastrophic car accident. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DRIVE. YOU MIGHT HURT YOURSELF OR SOMEBODY ELSE. That's for all of us, not just the kids. God rest the souls of these two hogs and let this never happen again! And may God be with both families during this horrendous time.

I have no idea who Daniel is, or what exactly happened with his car accident. But Kevin was my brother, and it wasn't his fault at all. Drivers, please just watch the road, and drive safely.

I'm sure more details will come.
These kids need to slow down ,every time i see a car speeding its a young kid from high school, please people slow down.
Mrs Brown,
I've heard that it is the homeowners in Covina Hills that don't want the stop signs. I can't really understand the rationale. Maybe others like yourself could start a campaign of sorts.
I've been in some upscale neighborhoods that didn't want "unsightly" stop signs and put in speed bumps instead. Whatever it takes to slow the speeds so other families dod not face the grief that we are experiencing at this time.
What a tragic loss. Not only to the team, the community or their familes but the World. Who knows what wonderful things these young men could have accomplished in their lives had God not called them home so soon.
Kids! When you walk out the door with keys in hand and we as Parents tell you to be careful; Its not just because we are being parental pains in the butt. Its because we Love You.
God Bless

I see this road outside my window everyday. Can you believe there's not one stop sign from Via Verde Road to right turn up to grand.
The city really needs to listen to the community for a change and get some STOP signs up!
You would be amazed how many near misses happen every year.
I know the road isn't to blame, but at least something might help! Losing anybody this young its right. Our kids are suppose to bury us, not the other way around!
God bless these families!
RIP DANIEL
