At Dodger Stadium (still/again) ...

| | Comments (23) |

It's autograph day here, so I'm pretty busy signing away with Nomar, Penny and Lowe. OK, not really. Anyway, no live blogging today. But tomorrow I'll begin making calls to local football coaches (fair warning) to hear how their summers went. We will also have more position rankings this week (so quit jonesing). Be ready. Football begins in August!

I guess the Amat softball players will be leaving the school pretty soon to suit up for Los Altos.

los altos softball coach, my prediction, next coach will be greg gano, his daughter will be ther starting shortstop next year as a freshman, and gano knows softball and baseball very well

Congratulations Glendora High School I just heard you will be starting up varsity and JV Boys and Girls water polo teams. I hope some of you in here get a chance to watch a few of their games.
It a great sport.

Marcus Wagner is not going anywhere?....where do you guys come up with all this BS..and insider be the insider and learn from the Amat inside not here where people rumor Amat to only have a total roster of 3 guys to play the football season. That's how ugly the Amat haters have got here. Marcus I will tell you is a little banged up right now and is practicing 1/2 speed but come the week of the Los Osos game he will be full strength....Pads are coming on shortly and the real football will start to be played...like all teams out there, there are injuries to certain players and there will be more before game 1. good luck to all teams and I hope you all are at full strength before your first game...Amat does have some nicked up guys and some of it was due to the ridiculous passing league hitting that goes on...totally unecessary...Passing league should start putting velcro flags around the waist and velcro flags on the players backs.........there have been too many injuries due to idiot players wanting to make contact to show off...Amat is fine and will be ready to play come Aug.31st. pads come on Aug. 16th

Just spoke to Coach Verti, and Wagner is still there.

Were you there: (Re: Oceanside Tournament)

Uncomfirmed stats puts our local teams finish at:

Glendora - made it all the way to the 5th round (4 wins 2 loses)
Charter Oak - made it to the 3rd round (not sure of win/lost)

Any stats on the oceanside tourney. Anybody?

Amat Insider said:

Aram I am hearing disturbing news that Marcus Wagner has now left Amat. Can you please confirm. Thanks

Tommy Tartan said:

Fanattic's overstating a little (the Freshman's about 6'1', and no way near 200 yet, but for a Frosh he's a stud). He does look like he has a shot at the back up spot though. I think you will see him suiting up this year, with some game time at a lower level.

FYI......Sarah Farnworth has left Los Altos High school for reasons unknown. BIG TIME JOB OPENING

Aram said:

Yeah, for reasons I won't get into, I had some obscure run-ins with the teen stars of the late 80s. Club Soda (aka Alfies I think) was a spot in the more showbiz part of town that was frequented by all the teen celebs ... Milano, Eggert and so on. Some of the details are blurry. But just know that I wasn't rocking the River Phoenix look back then either. Anyway, it was a kids spot for night life. Now just don't ask me how it was that I watched the Foreman-Holyfield in '91 with the kid who played the younger brother on Charles in Charge. Alexander was his first name, don't remember the last. I think it was Polansky.

is this true aram is gonna put more position rankings up

Mike the Clone said:

Yeah she looks younger though,She's a little thin for my liking but she's still a keeper.

Club Soda....what the heck was that? (This ought to be good. (laughing)

And the Dog count today is?

(Laughing)

What the hell was that mis-played ball to tie the game....

Aram said:

She didn't notice me at Club Soda in 1988, so there's really no reason for her to start now. Dude, did you know she's 35? True story, look it up.

Mike the Clone said:

I know your in the midle of the game but has she noticed you yet A.T.?

Times running out!

Late!

Johnny and Aram:

The freshman you are referring to is a 6'3'' plus/200lb QB who attended Sandburg Middle School. The kid absolutely is a future SUPER STUD. He does occassionally work out with the varsity team, however, there has been NO talk of him playing this year with varsity. He will, however, no doubt make big headlines next year!

FANatic has left the blog!

Aram said:

I've not heard that. And if there were any Glendora rumors like that, you'd have heard it from one of our G-Hi insiders.

johnny said:

Rumor has it that Glendora might be having a Freshman start a QB. Aram is this true?

Aram said:

I'm staring right at her. She's not reciprocating, though.

Mike the Clone said:

I don't want to be cheating on my sweetheart Nisha, but A.T. say hi to Alyssa when she strolls down to her seat will ya.

She's almost as cute a Nisha!
