COMMENTS: The Conquerors, led by OH Jade Esquivel, finished just fourth in the Miramonte League, but have jumped out strong this fall, winning 12 of 14 while playing a tough schedule. They have wins over St. Lucy’s and Walnut. The Mustangs, keyed by Melissa Cole, have also looked solid, scoring a win over St. Lucy’s, which entered the year as one of the top teams in the area. Diamond Bar, St. Lucy’s and Bonita round out the top five.
