« Saturday Morning Quarterback: Glendora takes control of Sierra; Baldwin Park knocks off undefeated San Dimas | Main | Area's top offensive lineman: "The Sweet 16" »

Tribskin Pick'em, your predictions and ours

Steve Ramirez and Fred J. Robledo going head-to-head throughout the season.

Records:
Robledo: Last week (14-4); Season (116-45)
Ramirez: Last week (14-4); Season (117-44)

Notes: With three weeks left in the regular season and the playoffs looming, Ramirez and I are neck-and-neck. We both went 14-4 last week, sharing three of the same losses. We both picked Bishop Amat over Alemany, Rosemead over El Monte and San Dimas over Baldwin Park. Steve got me on picking La Puente over Sierra Vista, but I had Chino beating Diamond Bar, so he will take his one-game lead into this week. And nothing's going to change. For the first time, we picked all the same games. That's just how it worked out, I always pick my games first then ask Steve for his. He doesn't know who I picked, so that's how the cards fell.

Game of the week: South El Monte (3-4, 2-0) at Arroyo (5-2, 2-0), 7 p.m.

Thursday's games
Baldwin Park vs. Pomona at Ganesha, 7 p.m. -- Robledo (BPark); Ramirez (BPark)
Glendora at Chino, 7 p.m. -- Robledo (Glendora); Ramirez (Glendora)

Friday's games
Northview at San Dimas, 7 p.m. -- Robledo (San Dimas); Ramirez (San Dimas)
Charter Oak at Los Altos, 7 p.m. -- Robledo (Charter Oak); Ramirez (Charter Oak)
South El Monte at Arroyo, 7 p.m. -- Robledo (SElMonte); Ramirez (SElMonte)
Diamond Ranch vs. Wilson at Ganesha, 7 p.m. -- Robledo (DRanch); Ramirez (DRanch)
Bishop Amat vs. Crespi at L.A. Pierce College, 7:30 p.m. -- Rolbedo (Crespi); Ramirez (Crespi)
Nogales at West Covina, 7 p.m. -- Robledo (WCovina); Ramirez (WCovina)
South Hills at Rowland, 7 p.m. -- Robledo (SHills); Ramirez (SHills)
Damien at Diamond Bar, 7 p.m. -- Robledo (Damien); Ramirez (Damien)
Rosemead at Gabrielino, 7 p.m. -- Robledo (Rosemead); Ramirez (Rosemead)
Covina vs. Ganesha at Covina District, 7 p.m. -- Robledo (Covina); Ramirez (Covina)
Duarte at Bassett, 7 p.m. -- Robledo (Duarte); Ramirez (Duarte)
El Monte at Mountain View, 7 p.m. -- Robledo (El Monte); Ramirez (El Monte)
Gladstone at La Puente, 7 p.m. -- Robledo (La Puente); Ramirez (La Puente)
Workman vs. Azusa at Citrus College, 7 p.m. -- Robledo (Azusa); Ramirez (Azusa)
Walnut at Bonita, 7 p.m. -- Robledo (Bonita); Ramirez (Bonita)

Saturday's game
Western Christian vs. Ontario Christian at Citrus College, Noon -- Robledo (Ont Christian); Ramirez (Ont Christian)

Final Thoughts: Los Altos apparently has lost Bryce Mahmud-McBride for the rest of the season with a broken leg. He joins fellow seniors Raymond Rodriguez and Josh Contreas, who were all potential Miramonte League standouts if not obvious first-team choices. Yet, even without Mahmud-McBride for nearly the whole game, the Conquerors had Diamond Ranch beat with less than a minute left before Diamond Ranch's miracle. What I'm saying is as bad as looks, don't ever count Los Altos out in a game against Charter Oak, which I'm guessing will be much closer than people think it will. I thought Friday would settle the Valle Vista League title until Baldwin Park showed up and knocked out undefeated San Dimas. If Northview wins on Friday, circle your calendar for Nov. 9 -- when the Braves take on the Vikings at Covina District. Arroyo and yes, South El Monte could be deciding the Mission Valley League title this week. Both teams are 2-0 while pre-league favorite Rosemead is a shocking 0-2. South El Monte is becoming the feel-good story of the year. To start 0-4 and come back the way they have says a lot about those kids character, and the determination of their coaching staff.

WALNUT 24
WEST COVINA 14

Anonymous, 10/24 9:31am,

You said "WC will struggle against Rowland and Walnut", WC. already beat Rowland 27 to 0, we have Nogales & South Hills to worry about before we get to Walnut.

SDSaint

I'm at work, didn't get a chance to read the whole article. Your right, very cool. Great MOM

The article talks about how Zernicow helped get the Withems Christmas gifts and hot food on Thanksgiving. Read the article in the Tribune.

SDSaint

What did coach Z do for the Withems?

Upset Fan and others, what do you have to say about the remarkable things coach Z has done for his players such as the Withem brothers. When you put things into perspective, calling the right play at the one yard line does not compare to helping young men the way Z and his staff has for the Withems

Dan,

West Covina will struggle against Walnut and Rowland and may not even see the playoff round. The team is very young and is not very good. Tucker should be playing for SHHS, he wasted his time going to WC

Dan at October 23, 2007 04:55 PM

Anybody can be beaten on any given day!

I am sure you know exactly how that feels. SD just ran into a very good defensive. Two INT's and a fumble inside the red zones don't help especially when the oline is missing assignments all night long. We just played like you know what. Braves were the better team last Friday night.

To my knowledge "ONE FAN" was negative towards our coach not GUY'S. Don't try and speak for the entire community, especially when you weren't even at the game.

Again the Braves just beat us! Time to move on to this week!

THROW OUT ALL THE WIN/LOSS GAMES...GAME OF THE WEEK ARROYO/SOUTH EL MONTE GAME WILL GO THE WIRE.. SOUTH EL MONTE WINS ON A THRILLER.....NOTE IF REFERES ARE NOT IN SOME ONE POCKET LIKE IN THE GABRLIANO GAME///YES IT WAS THAT BAD.. GOOD LUCK SEMS

A game that everyone thinks is a lock is Damien over Diamond Bar but that shouldnt be, DB can score and has put up points on top teams and has faced a tough non league schedule. Damien cant stop anyone! They also struggle with high power offences and passing attacks,IE Matt Baca's 300 plus passing yards last week. Diamond Bar can pass the heck out of you, Watch out Damien the Brahmas are here to play friday night!!!

Anonymous at Oct.23 at 7:52 [mytwocents],

Lets get things straight here, When West Co.
scored the first 21 points the CO starters were still in, not the 2nd & 3rd unit like your trying to say. Give our Bulldogs some credit, our offense can score some points. The last TD that West Co scored was against the 2nd & 3rd units.

San Dimas fan,
Last week you guy's were praising your coach, now you want his head on a platter, don't make excuses
you guy's ran into a better team, I've seen the braves "D" when they played us, they're pretty good, and I heard from one of their insiders that your only score came on a fluke fumble recovery in the endzone, otherwise it sounds like the Braves "D" shut your offense out.

Come On DON, San Dimas over the Vikes by 14, I seriously don't see that happening, with Nico and his Tweeko, Not a chance, the Vikes have a great opportunity for a win, and I don't see them passing it up.

LL,

Northview has a great opportunity indeed. They also have a number of good football players, Rodriguez and Robles come to mind off the top. I just don't think you have quite enough to beat the Saints and as impressive as the Barbone kid is, the San Dimas defense is what really impresses me.

Your guys have a great chance for an upset, but it would be an upset. I see it something like 28-14 SD.

Good luck.

AMAT Parent ,
Great words yourself . Parents night is coming so wear either his jersey or his jacket proudly when you take the field for your Friday night under the lights for all your hard work and efforts for the past 4 years.

The refs at the SEM-Gabrielino game were a bunch of blind, lazy old farts! How can you trow a flag when your on the opposite side of the field! Every positive gain or just passing the line of scrimmage they threw a flag! I think at the end of the 1st quarter there were 16 penalties against SEM to gabrielinos 2 penalties! Arroyo has got to find a way to stop all the atheletes at SEM! GO EAGLES!!

sorry to go off topic fellas but does anyone know what heppend to big JOHN RABE at Damien and his Oregon commitment?

FRED?

Come On DON, San Dimas over the Vikes by 14, I seriously don't see that happening, with Nico and his Tweeko, Not a chance, the Vikes have a great opportunity for a win, and I don't see them passing it up.

Come on SEM FAN . WAS IT THAT BAD , thisis the FIRST TIME I HAVE HEARD ABOUT IT . But REALLY 64-7.Is that for RAEL how many TD's were called back ? 30 PENALTIES ? Was it THAT BAD ?!?!? If it really was that bad ...LOOK OUT ARROYO !!! Here come THE SEM EAGLES . Best of luck ...

HIT TO HURT

TM

DONT LET THE SEM/GAB SCORE FOOL YA...SEM HAD MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH THE TOTAL PARTIAL REFERE'S. SCORE SHOULD HAD BEEN SEM 64-GAB-7...GOT 5 TOUCHDOWNS RETURNS ON MADE UP PENALTIES.. AND ANOTHER 3 POSSIBLE TD...ALL RETURN ON MADE UP PENALTIES. TOMMY GAIN OVER 300 YDS RUSHING/RECIEVING ALL RETURN. YOU KNOW THE OFFICIATING REAL BAD WHEN EVEN..THE CROWD(GABRILIANO FANS/PARENTS STARTED BOOING THE CALLS....HAHAH.. SOUTH EL MONTE GOT 30 FLAGS. WHO EVER THIS JOKERS WERE THEY WERE NOT REFERES. CIF OFFICIALS SHOULD INVESTIGATE.....

Good Luck to Coach Escamilla and the SEM eagles...big game on Friday! Looks like it gonna be a barnburner!

Well by looking at all the comments and the upcoming games, we do have a good week of football. As for myself I do follow Northview and I do agree that it should be the game of the week when B.P visits N.V., I don't see S.D. getting passed N.V., if Coach Zavala puts together the right Defense like he did against Covina and Coach A. And Coach U. put the right scheme together on the other side of the ball, no doubt the Vikes take league.

anonymous oct 22 9:54,
You must know one thing no parents have to send their kids to AMAT, they chose to do it for many reasons and one of the reason if not the number 1 reason is the education . Yes our football team is struggling at this time but we will be ok. Just keep sending your children where you want and making yourself feel good about it by making assinine statements like the one you posted. I guess they taught you that at whatever school you went to but are not proud of it enough to use it in your blog name so you hide behind anonymous.

Joe Amat,

Great wording there. I have Senior on the Amat team and with three games left it did come and go fast, if we lose league and are home for the CIF it's just was not our time and era, nonethe less I still am proud of my Son and his teamates for going out there to battle for Amat every Friday. Win or lose I will never forget the moments of his Varsity days. To the parents of Seniors at all HS schools, enjoy your time the rest of the way.

Hey Fred,

Reports are saying the fire's won't be fully controlled until 8 days. My son's practice at Los Altos ended early yesterday because of Air Quality. Are there any schools cancelling there games this week? Or, just maybe the earlier games such as Thursdays FROSH/JV?

Just Wondering?

Mytwocents
WC only got 7 on CO starters..
They got 21 on CO 2 & 3 String (that are all Soph,JR.)

Posted by: Anonymous at October 23, 2007 07:52 AM

Thats not true. 21 pts. scored against the CO starters.

Dear Upset Fan,

Its fans like you that makes coaching changes at San Dimas the norm! (4 since 2000!) San Dimas has never had consistant coaching since the Dean Bennet years. San Dimas High has always had dumb parents, poor district management, low pay, and coaches on campus looking for only thier best intrests. (G. Pres in Basketball, Regan in Baseball.) If Coach Z was smart he would look for a better quality of life and get a better job with this season's success. The San Dimas parents don't want to have a quality football progam that handles itself with class. Just my thoughts.

BRAVETOWN at October 22, 2007 10:40 AM

FYI: Found out that Tim Gilmore will likely play this week. He had a slight knee sprain, but appears to be fine.

All he wants is attention!!!!!

Baldwin Park (41) Pomona (0)
The Braves will carry the energy of the upset over SD to this game and unleash it on the Red Devils.

Glendora (38) Chino (10)
no comment

Los Altos (24) Charter Oak (21) 2OT
Seanez, Tamayo, Longoria, etc. play the game of their lives & step up huge in this one. Bring on the barnburner.

Arroyo (24) South El Monte (14)
Both teams have had some recent sloppiness...South El Monte beat Gabrielino 20-7 last week, but missed 2 PATs on its first 2 TDs..and that Alhambra win's strength has dwindled due to the Moors' UPSET loss to Montebello...Arroyo gave up first TD of last week's game to MOUNTAIN VIEW!!!!....then after that of course SMOKED em...and don't forget the El Monte scare the week before...Arroyo gets win- they're not gonna cough up and choke- especially when it's a home game

Diamond Ranch (45) Hacienda Hts. Wilson (8)
The Ranch can gave some fun here. Wilson has been soundly beaten last two (6-50 to CO and 7-42 to Bonita) and has tailed off on a tangent from promising early season. Everybody plays in this game....empty the benches...

Crespi (35) Bishop Amat (7)
League begins for Amat and Crespi...for the Lancers, looks like uphill battle, with roadblocks Sherman Oaks Notre Dame and Loyola following...

West Covina (28) Nogales (14)
Thumped by CO, but got 28 on them....Nogales will give them fits early on with TE Jesse Ili, have ssen him play noth his frosh and this his soph year and he's not the easiest target in the world to take down...on the other hand, I wouldn't be surprised if the result came around the other way.....Nogales is HUNGRY and I dont think they've won a San Antonio league game since they entered into it...I gotta factor that in as well

South Hills (56) Rowland (10)
The streak continues for the Huskies...with the 5-W streak in mind plus revenge for last year's loss, this could become major bloodletting...

Damien (28) Diamond Bar (0)
Spartans need to get back on track here with a win. NUFF SAID

Gabrielino (21) Rosemead (13)
Last week must have been painful for Panthers. Gabrielino played SEM tough for a half, and if Rosemead is still reeling from the loss to the Lions, this will be a perfect opportunity for the Eagles to reignite their spark...

Covina (40) Ganesha (0)
-no further comment-

Duarte (61) Bassett (0)
Another easy one for the Falcons...

El Monte (44) Mountain View (0)
Lions clear the benches here. Vikings severely overmatched against a team that just knocked off Rosemead.

La Puente (32) Gladstone (14)
Warriors clinch playoff spot here, but fun ends next week when they run into Duarte.

Azusa (42) Workman (16)
Aztecs progressing well of late...after terrible start (two case in points: 1.giving up 8 to Ganesha in their season opening win 2.loss to Mountain View) with this opponent, what they've done in the last two losses (scored 17 on Duarte in 17-31 L and 24 in a a 3pt L to Aquinas) should be more than enough to shut down the Lobos...

Bonita (31) Walnut (17)
Probably gets the last win of this season here, as Charter Oak and Los Altos await them after.

Ontario Christian (49) Western Christian (9)
OC winners of five consecutive; Western Christian wins have been over suspect competition....Clearsailing for Ontario Christian here

I Wanna see LA beat charter choak for two reasons
one so they would stop complaing about their loss to DR and second i want them to win because it would just show who the real deal is in that league..

Im glad to see Amat down and the rest of the public schools up. Why should parents have to pay to send their kids to school when we have so many great schools in the SGV. Amat is now just living on a reputation from many years ago. Im glad to see the rest of the schools in the SGV coming up and passing Amat in athletics and academics. I say keep the coach at Amat he is doing the rest of us a favor.

well done fredj, spread the passion of our high schoolfootball in our sgv game of the week.

Fred, you made my night with comment, I appreciate passion.

Freddy,

THAT was a great comment!

I've been next to a bundle of media types that do the exact same thing.

San Dimas fans

You lose 1 game and you want to challenge Coach Z.

Question always, but never challenge your coaches abilities.

You'll bounce back with a great game against NV...and your in-house complainer will still have sometime negative to say about the victory.

Tell the complainer to instruct his son (who naturally is on the team) to put out on the field for the sake silencing his dad.

coaches curse bad calls, reporters curse silly timeouts that affect their deadlines :)

RGD,

I've seen to many of these games to ever think it will get ugly. LA is still a very good team that shouldve beat DR without their studs, to me that is scary. Joe Amat, I will be at the game of the week and I also don't want to stand next to fred and hear him curse on the sidelines about stupid timeouts.

Good Choice Freddy boy...those two teams deserve the attention they have earned it and it should be a heck of a game.

Posted by: Joe Amat at October 22, 2007 03:14
Support them wherever you are, then go celebrate...or drown your sorrows. Either way, relish the time - it only comes around once and it goes fast!

Agree 100%
Rankings/picks/10 best is fun and games; the boys deserve our support.

Joe Amat, great comment.

Fans,

The Game of the Week is where YOU are.

It doesn't matter what's written in the paper, those kids on the field lay it on the line whether it's D-Ranch vs CO for the title or Azusa vs Bassett to see who stays out of the celler of Fred's Super List!

Support them wherever you are, then go celebrate...or drown your sorrows. Either way, relish the time - it only comes around once and it goes fast!

fred
as you know im a los altos fan a friend of gregs, but i do agree with you on the game of the week, no complaints here.
plus it might get ugly, dang it..

Upset Fan

Its over and we lost. Time to move on a focus on Northview. Going to be a great game, so lets enjoy it.

Nobody was upset with the coach when we were 6-0. Focus your energy on soemthing positive this week.

NV Fan

Its pretty apparent you do not know the entire situation of the BONIA/SD PARENT fight. Any adult that attacks a minor should be arrested regardless of one kid who made a bad choice.

Come on, if you're that classy of a parent, kids made numerous mistakes before they learn , but adults shouldn't enage in fight with a kid!

Thanks anonymous, I'll keep that in mind

Fred, If your going to cover a MVL game over CO&LA then just stay away from the miramonte league altogether. Keep giving into the likes of glendora and MVL fans, i never read the blog last year but i guess aram was better.

Great thing about the final week of the season is that if Diamond Ranch is playing Charter Oak for the League title it will be on Thursday, and if Northview plays Baldwin Park for the title it will be on Friday. A lot has to happen, but yeah, I can guarantee if both are undefeated in league going into those games they will be the games of the week.

Just remember the parents at the SD/Bonita Volleyball game.... Same type of parents for SD Football but worse. Something doesn't go right and the finger gets pointed elswhere.

GOOD LUCK FRIDAY NORTHVIEW!!!! WE HAVE AWESOME PLAYERS & AWESOME FANS! Look our way Friday Night and see what good support our boys & Coaches have.

GAME OF THE WEEK:
south el monte at ARROYO
Friday October 26 7pm
B.L. Bergstrom Stadium
4921 North Cedar Avenue
El Monte CA 91732

anonymous @1:57
i agree... and im glad that you agree that it would be a great game. and yes its true, NV and BP are small compared to other leagues. But you know, they are our little fishes, and we will be there to support them. Enjoy the rest of the season.

re: anonymous at 1:47

It would be awesome to see NV and BP as the game of the week, but it ain't gonna happen, they are NOT big enough names. Little fishes in the big pond of amat, co, glendora,la, south hills - the trib backs the big names only. sad to say but it's the truth.

FRED, IF NORTHVIEW IS ABLE TO WIN AGAINST SD THIS FRIDAY, DO YOU AGREE THAT NOV 9 NORTHVIEW vs BALDWIN PARK SHOULD BE THE GAME OF THE WEEK???
I FEEL N-VIEW AND BP ARE BOTH GREAT AND THAT SHOULD BE AN AWESOME GAME

O and by the way Upset Fan, i don't think Coach Z is the offensive coordinator, I'm pretty sure he runs the defense that only gave up 12 points.

Fred
Good choice I'd wait and make Charter Oak ,Diamond Ranch game of the week-year when they play in the final week..Then there won't be any doubt.

Upset fan, Tears on my pillow is right. Weren't all the San Dimas fnas singing the praises of Zernickow and his staff before the loss. So a team loses one game and it's all the coaches fault? I don't understand the logic. Stay behind your team.

I am still in SHOCK . I guess RHS might have been overrated .Best of luck to ARROYO & SEM , my $$$ is on the SEM Eagles . RHS WILL WIN against Gabrielino .

I know that it's Los Altos-Charter Oak week, and San Dimas and Northview is a big game too, but considering everything, I feel the game of the week should be South El Monte at Arroyo. Both teams are 2-0 in the MVL, and with Rosemead 0-2, this game should ultimately decide the title.

Upset fan
Typical San Dimas Dufass. lose one game and you call the coach all kinds of things. Classless move. Aren't you the same person who was saying how great the undefeated Saints are? Ya it was you. SD is and was overrated. Good morning sunshine, time to wake up to reality. SD has one great player. Posters never gave props to the other 21. Oh, well stop one, Stop them all. Whats your excuse going to be next week?

Coach Z lost the game for San Dimas. He did not attack the opponent with all of the weapons we have. How can anyone be so arrogant to think when the defense is trying to take Nico out of the game that we don't pound our other people to the outside. Spread the ball out. Spread the defense out. First and Goal on what could have been the winning touchdown he arrogantly thought we could push a huge defense line out of the way when we have 2 other options to the outside that could have given us a better chance to score racing to the pilon. How did Baldwyn Park beat San Dimas. Ask the coach who was sitting down in his chair with his feet extended through the lift he was on when the game was still undecided. Ask the coach who plays hurt people when healthy ones are available. Ask the coach who did not make any changes at half time. Ask the coach who is arrogant and controlling. Ask the coach who in my opinion needs to give the offense over to someone who will attack the defense with all of our weapons. Make the changes to go outside instead of running into a huge wall of defenders inside. What a travest paid to the seniors on this team. They did not loose the game it was lost because the offensive coordinator Coach Z did not bring his A game.

It seems to me that the officiating this year has been especially atrocious. I have been to at least one game and some week’s two games, and the officiating in EVERY game has been suspect. I know that these officials are just regular Joe's like the most of us, but there has to be some kind fix for this MAJOR problem. Some of these calls are costing teams games. I know some of the blame is on the players but when you continue to be flagged for questionable calls it really takes from the game. I don't know if there is a governing body that needs to step in and take a closer look, but SOMETHING needs to be done be fore the playoffs start. I would hate for my team to lose a close game on bad officiating.

Fred,
That was no miracle last thursday beating LA. Franco Harris catching the ball out of the air years ago for the steelers was a miracle. DR still was playing without one of the best wide recievers in the miramonte league in Thomas Clarkson and highly rated LB Spencer Stueve. LA probably would not have scored there last two td's with these two players playing. I told all of you're bloggers in the beginning of the year that DR has the BEST athletes in the area and good teams just "KNOW" how to win games and it does'nt matter if you win by 50 or by 3 points. Also Layton got a raw deal by getting thrown out of this contest for throwing his hat in the air "what is that ". I was at GHS vs CHHS game friday and Terry Roache in the fourth Qtr was yelling and screaming at the refs while out on the field and was'nt ejected. I guess if you have many years in HS coaching you won't get ejected from a game? Would LA or CO coaches have been thrown out if they threw their hat in the air ????????????????????????

Fred

Thanks for that info on tim. I was wondering. I had heard the same

Welcome back Coach Crutchfield. Even do you were not at Fridays game some how you ran up the score again. You must be a wizard. We are praying for Jordan Canada on a fast recovery.

Go Duarte Falcons....

Fred,
This week's Game of the Week should be the Mission Valley League showdown between South El Monte and Arroyo. Show some love for the El Monte schools.

Thanks Fred, I give lots of credit to the braves defense, They looked big, fast and very physical.
The Offense on the other hand needs alot of work.
I think its their league title to lose.

GO BRAVES !!!!

That is too bad about McBride and Los Altos. That will be tough to recover from with CO up next. This will test the coaching staff and the depth of the team.

I hate to see kids get season ending injuries but that is football. Better luck LA from here on out.

I WAS & STILL AM WAY OFF on my picks . I ALWAYS will go with my HEART & pick RHS , WHAT IS GOING ON . I guess just getting beat by better teams . CONGRATS SEM & EL MONTE .I'll save my picks for a later post .

TM

Nothing was reported to me about an injury with Barbone, though I did notice him walking around like he was sore. But forget that, you have to give credit to the Braves' D-Line. I'll be the first to admit, I had them way underrated. Think of it, they're allowing less than 10 points a game. In fact, going strictly by numbers, they've allowed the least number of points this season.

COACH ESCAMILLA AND HIS COACHING STAFF MADE A REAL WISE DECISION EARLY IN THE YEAR THAT HE WOULD NOT PLAY HIS BEST PLAYERS BOTH WAYS TO AVOID POSIBLE INJURIES UNTIL LEAGUE STARTED, EXCEPT THE WIN OVER SAN GABRIEL.. JUST TO QUITE DOWN HIS CRITICS.. LOOK LIKE HIS STRATEGY AND WISE DECISION PAID OFF I BELIVE WE WOULD WOULD HAVE WON A COUPLE MORE GAMES, INCUDING SAN DIMAS, CORONA DEL MAR AND PIONEER.. ACTUALLY THE ONLY GAME WE GOT A LEAKING WAS FROM WHITTIER..BUT NOW WE ARE IN A GOOD POSITION TO WIN MV LEAGUE.. GOOD LUCK BOYS, PLAY HARD... ARROYO ALWAYS GETS UP FOR THIS GAME..

Fred, in regard to B.P. VS SAN DIMAS, was it just me or did it look like Barbone wasnt really running as hard as he usually does. Do you know if he might of been hampered by a injury? Ive seen the kid run and man is he impressive, but against B.P. he wasnt running like that at all.

GO BRAVES !!!!

FYI: Found out that Tim Gilmore will likely play this week. He had a slight knee sprain, but appears to be fine.
