Hey ? wrong board. Your looking for the Al Franken blog I think.

Thank all of you for the kind words, and for making this transition so easy for Steve and I, who absolutely love covering the schools we grew up around. I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful holiday weekend, and lets get some local teams into the semifinals.

The 18th Annual Damien Alumni Turkey Bowl was played yesterday morning at the Damien campus.

Lots of great friends, teammates, parents, and other chums showed up to say hello, play in a very competitive flag football game, and share time socializing afterwards.

For anyone wanting to know what Damien High School is about, this holiday event is a good chance to find out.

Fred is anyone going to be covering the Cory Lidle memorial tournament this weekend?

Hey Beep Beep Dan, great Thanksgiving dinner. I hope farrar told those boys to stay away from the turkey.
Sounds like the 12th man will be in full force tomorrow night. Jorge is saving you a spot behind the band.
Let's rock the house.

Thx MTC. The only SGV team I hope looses tomorrow is West Co. Good luck to your Bagpipers, you got a rough draw, but thats why we play the game.

CO Bro....

Hope you know this "Bagpiper" is pulling for you guys.

MTC

Just finished off my last piece of turkey and waiting for the L-Tryptophan to kick in, so I'm watching the Trojans kick ASU's ass. Just wanted to drop a note to Fred, Steve and all my blogging homies and say I'm thankful we have this site to air out our differences and speak our peace without fear of reprisal....Yeah Right!

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

P.S. Hoping for a CO / ED rematch, but would love to play the Huskies for the title.

Fred,

In keeping with the spirit of your original blog heading...."Wishing us all a Happy Thanksgiving"

I’d like to steer this puppy back into that direction you originally intended it to be by wishing you a great Thanksgiving to you and your family and thanks for all you have done in your short tenure at the helm of prep sports.

And to all my blog friends I have made here over the past year in a half thanks for making it so much fun talking and sharing thoughts with all of you guys who love the game of football. The game has touched our lives in so many ways some at the high school level and some beyond that but it is surely clear we are passionate about the game we love and the schools we support.

Love the Clone or hate the Clone may you all have a great Thanksgiving.

I AM OUT!

GOOD NIGHT NOW!

Mike the Clone

P.S. And Good night Aram Tolegian wherever you are.

Happy Turkey Day you clueless online geeks!!!

Was Friar Tuck Farrar a part of the first TG family?

And American schools still teach our children that the first "Americans" were good people. After they ate with the natives they betrayed them and exterminated there people.

Anon,

Every loser hates a winner. I understand a close, successful family probably reminds you of everything you've never had.

FRED, Happy Turkey day and I'll see you tomorrow night.
