its definitely really hard very good rates of interest on financial savings in the world today. the banks are generally not giving very good interest rates
This domain appears to recieve a great deal of visitors. How do you promote it? It offers a nice individual spin on things. I guess having something useful or substantial to give info on is the most important thing.
I’d have to pass on with you one this subject. Which is not something I usually do! I enjoy reading a post that will make people think. Also, thanks for allowing me to speak my mind!
Between me and my husband we've owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I've settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.
I usually don't post in blogs but your blog forced me to, amazing work.. beautiful !
Buy Ultram Online Without Prescription
Hello Leaflore,Bon bah moi bien sur jai pas vote puisque je suis tjs ----.
If you're still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you'll know which is right for you.

I, for one, am proud of this LA team, being "in" every league game except the CO game, who I am now pullig for, without their most important impact players, who, most likely, would have made SOME SORT OF IMPACT, against Wilson, Bonita and DR.
If they had remained healthy, I see a number two in league and getting beat in the second round. Even healthy, I did not see a team that would be practicing on Thanksgiving without at least an average QB.
The faithful are still proud of our tradition, our history and our program. The volume of work produced by Gano and Despain is greater than 99% of programs in the state.
But,
Still think Rosemead beat themselves in those 2 league loses...but its all good. The focus now is making the playoffs and advancing into the finals.
FEAR THE MEAD!!!! WAR PANTHERS!!!
Garay is only a Jr?!?
My bad, seems like that kid has been there awhile already...I guess its gonna be up to the 'Mead and the South next year to battle it out for the MVL title 'cause I think Arroyo is done! but as always....
FEAR THE MEAD!!! WAR PANTHERS!!!
Jenny Craig at November 7, 2007 12:27 PM
Better get your facts and stats straight.
Wrong on both counts!
LAQ
:(
volleyball and football lose on the same night :[
i hope basketball and baseball can step up :)
Craig at November 7, 2007 12:27 PM
Its called having a better record than you, better defense and better offense in league and non-league which totals up OVERALL
Better understand how stats and records play a big part in the rankingS. SD has the best defense and offense in the VVL PERIOD...
This goes out to all Rosemead fans. I give propts to your line. They are good. They are the heart and soul of your team. Get this though, without them, you are a below average team.
The kids at online at South work hard. But they are not the strength of the team. If this was one of South's strengths, with all the weapons like Garay, Acosta, Padilla, Luna, Mendoza, and Cogburn....C'mon...seriously....South would compete if not beat any team in our division. Teams in MVL would not even be a factor, including Rosemead.
Where were the "War Panthers" when their line was so tired from getting punished by South's defense in the fourth quarter? South had a bad start, that is why they are not ranked. We knew that we were a good team, we were simply not clicking.
Now, we are, look out!
About South El Monte Football....simply "Don't Doubt The South!" Whatever team we play in the playoff better bring their A game or they will get sent home packing. Bottom line, enough talk, let the games begin. I will let the team's actions do the talking.
By the way, the first time South played Rosemead, they won, easily. The first time we played Arroyo, the result was the same. Sure, there have been some down years. Regardless, everyone knows that when they play South they better have a good week of practice, tighten up the screws on the helmet, and be prepared for a battle.
Now, if that is not tradition, I don't know what is!
I wish all the teams good luck tomorrow. Champions always prevail.
coyot62, If your a former SEM Alum, u should show a little bit of class. I'm sure JJIMENEZ remembers his teams losses. You should remember Souths. Rosemead has had a good solid football program for the longest time. South is just coming up. It's taking 13 years to get to where South is at right now, and I know Escamilla wants it to get better. Be humble in your victories because when Rosemead went out in the first round, South was handed a beat down from SH 70-21 2 weeks later. I'm sure Rosemead didn't forget, neither should u.
CIF MUST LIKE SOMETHING ABOUT ROSEMEAD,THEY GOT LUCKY AGAIN. RANKING AHEAD OF SEM. THAT MEANS ROSEMEAD WILL GET A A LOW SEED TEAM IN THE PLAYOFFS.. GOOD LUCK MAYBE YOU WILL DO BETTER THAN O6 AND 05.. ESPECIALLY "05" OH YEA,. I STILL REMEMBER THAT ONE.
Notes on Amat
To Person posting as anonymous
I have read a couple of his posts in which he keeps talking about the terrible crime surrounding the neighborhood of Bishop Amat. I have to say that if this guy can show me a place in Southern California that is 100 % free of crime, then I suppose that place, is where this person must currently live in. He certainly doesn’t live in the SGV after all, because the last time I looked, there was crime here.
Of course, to not like a school or a particular football program is anyone right of course, but to continuously bash the area as being a ghetto and where everyone has to live in fear every waking moment of one’s life, is way, way, to much don’t you think ?
I have heard this from him before and to tell you the truth, it seems funny. After all, if people were to only send their kids to play football or to gain a quality education in “nice area’s” then the people at USC would never be able to field a successful football program or attract students to their school based on the neighborhood in which they live in. hum…
JIMENEZ POSTED 11-08.....GET YOUR FACTS STRIGHT GARY WILL BE BACK AS A SENIOR SO WILL ACOSTA WIDE/R. AND PADILLA L/B AND ALL OF THE O/L WILL BE JR/SR... WHAT HAPPEND TO TO YOUR MONSTER O/L-D/L????.. TO SLOW?? YOU SHOULD WORRY ABOUT YOUR SENIOR LEAVING.".FEAR THE MEAD. I DONT THINK SO""" YOU SHOULD FEAR THE EL MONTE LIONS, HAHAH. GOGOGOGOGGO SEM MISSSION LEAGUE CHAMPS.. TRI CHMPS 06.. CIF SEMI FINALS 005.. ROSEMEAD OUT FIRST ROUND TO A THIRD PLACE TEAM AFTER GOING 10-0.. WOW NOW THATS IMPRESSIVE..
JJIMENEZ,
Yeah isn't that the same thing that everyone was saying in 06 when the semi finals team was gone 12 seniors left that year some of the best in the area and what happened SEM was still one the best in the MVL. Also FYI Garay is only a JUNIOR and also has Manny Acosta to go along with him so Don't Doubt the South
The pride in LA is gone. A team with a league record of 0-3-0 and and over all record 0f 4-5-0. O am sorry I forgot about that big win at Diamond Ranch. You are talking about the playoffs and you haven't even won one league game.
ID SD JV wins they are co champs if NV JV wins and outright champs if BP JV wins.
prep league.. thank you for the answer. i just assumed that the sd/nv game was just not played, so both teams are still undefeated in league games. what if we win nv jv does that put us up with sd and nv
Its JV, if NV and SD win they will both go down as co champs at 4-0. The players and parents can tell themselves all they want that the other team forfeited and they are the outright champion, but the truth is JV is not important enough to warrant making up a canceled game.
Sem alumni 07...
Congrats on winning league (outright) for the very 1st time...but I hardly call that owning the MVL.
Good luck next year when Garay, Cogburn, and the rest of your SR.'s are gone.
FEAR THE MEAD!!! WAR PANTHERS!!!
saint, we play the nv jv today, what will the outcome be if bp jv wins or if nv jv wins. since sd jv did not play nv jv, how is that on the books. we know that nv jv still wanted to play as scheduled for the thursday, but sd jv wanted to wait till monday, so who gets the win?
To Northview,
The Truth is the the Jv game was postponed until the smoke cleared. When San Dimas tried to schedule for monday the Northview coach said no and he needed his Jv's to practice for the pomona game the following week. Believe me, the young Saints wanted to get a piece of Northview just like the older guys!
Goof luck tonight Falcons. Playoff starts today. Lets give it all we have.
GO FALCONS.
Eagle 20,
Not sure, but I think the CIF polls ARE the result of votes from some coaches (or AD's maybe?). My problem is I don't think some of those coach's do their homework. As for rankings and head to head, not sure about SEM's full schedule strength compared the Rosemead and the other team, but you do have to take a team's full schedule and quality of wins & loses into account as well as head to head. In our division Los Osos is ranked ahead of Etiwanda, even though they lost to them, but they have one more win and their schedule is as good or maybe slightly tougher. I do still scratch my head at times, but it seems to me they are getting it more right as the season progressed.
Fred,
I think someone should checkout McBride at LA to see if he did'nt come in to LA under the radar gunn. You know that LA coach has a reputation for sneaking kids into the school that have never lived in the area and maybe CIF should be aware of this. I'm sure there looking into it.
Anonymous,
Where do you come up with stuff about every team. Sit back and think for a min.
1. What is the pay scale for BA vs Any Public School.
2. Whats the dif is medical.
3. Compare the retirement plans.
Gano is going to leave and go to BA with the amount of time he has vested in the public school system. Freeze his retirement for a private school retirement just so his daughter can play softball. Sure they can pay him 80 to 100K a year but I am sure he still comes up 60-70% short in total comps if he left.
I understand this is an opinion based blog but it would be nice if the words "well thought out opinions" were the norm not just I heard it from a friend opinion.
You seem to have every team in the valley wired and the trib should hire you.
omg first of all i'm digging the ranking of #7 much respect but in the cif southern section the dont have us up there, how lame is that?? they have alhambra and rosemeed which south el monte beat and shurr is not the same team as last year come on..who else do we have to beat hahah man will see in cif how things go will show the cif rankers what its all about baby
SEM ALL DAY EVERYDAY BABY!!
we own the mvl league man and trust will run cif
When Mcbride is back for CIF, and Rodriguez. all i got to say is CIF here we come!!!!!!
Wilson u noe that was a good try for the playoffs but looks like you guys came up short huh?? too bad. have fun watching us play :)
When Mcbride is back for CIF, and Rodriguez. all i got to say is CIF here we come!!!!!!
I am not sure how CIF rankings are calculated. As always, CIF officials and their offices are completely worthless. They take 1/2 of the proceeds of a games, force teams to use specific equipment which is a clearly a monopoly(Wilson Footballs), and clearly have no idea on how to rank teams.
How in the world is Rosemead and Alhambra ranked over South El Monte when they beat them head to head. I guess that they clearly go by record. It is evident that I hate CIF and all that it stands for. Now, I would not normally complain about standings, however, it does make a difference in the playoffs. I just hate to see two good teams play each other early. Its kind of like seeing the Colts and the Patriots play each other in the playoffs. Someone has got to loose, but deep down you wish that they were playing each other in the super bowl.
I say, let CIF be run by a group of coaches. Not these over paid (what the hell they do is up to me) and evidently out of touch officials.
That is my say. In the end, if you are a good team, like South El Monte is, you will win.
Using some of the previous logic, why would a parent in South OC send their kids to Mater Dei. San Clemente or Santa Margarita are a world apart from old town Santa Ana.
La Puente is no paradise, but I would feel much safer walking at night on Fairgrove than on Edinger. Have any of you been to Mater Dei? The place area is third world.
it gets alittle old after awhile blaming the teams troubles on the coaching only. Sooner or later you have to place some blame on the players. Damien is a below par team this year. The qb never quite performed to expectaions and defense way overrated. Not the year of the Spartans. Coach Morrison was well liked when you were winning, now he is your scapegoat.
Coach MO must be working hard trying to put a play book together for CHHS. He is the only coach in the valley to not have his teams stats up to date. Good luck Spartans. You will have to win it on talent alone. Audible all game long you will need it with your coaches play calling.
saint fan.. i just found out that it is already done. there will be no make up game. season already over and now we 3 should all be going to the playoffs FOR VARSITY. yes, i am a bp fan and our jv is playing nv jv tomorrow
You may be right, but I do know they wouldn't reschedule either. Both teams evidently wanted to play just didn't. I say we have them settle on the field next week if possible. Try calling your AD and I'll do the same. Who knows what a couple of parents can put together?
saint fan, can you answer this for me. win sd jv wins cov jv and if bp jv wins nv jv does that mean it is a 3 way league?? and what if when sd jv wins cov jv and if nv jv wins bp jv, is it co champs for sd jv and nv jv or just league for nv jv?
saint fan... fact this: nv jv said to play as scheduled and sd said NO.. no big deal
Annonymous...
FYI Mcbride isn't the only one injured. As a matter of fact I don't think he's da biggest loss on the team. If anything Ray Rodriguez was a biggger loss then Mcbride. LA had to change both its offensive and defensive schemes when #84 got hurt. If I remember correctly Jeff Martinez (#25) had a great game against Wilson to so running back wasn't the problem. Come on LA has 3 of its 4 captains out for the season as well as others who saw significant PT. I don't see what the problem was with what I said.....
"Get a life and start planning for next year"
Isn't that what Wilson should be doing? Your win against LA was the highlight of the last 5 years of Wilson football. Your season is over. After this rollercoaster season for Los Altos they still have a shot at a #2 seed in playoffs. Can Wilson say that??
Fred after thinking about it,
#1fan has a good point, if a certain team can beat other teams that are ranked above it,[ie:Bishop Amat] then that team is really better than those teams, so why not put that team where it belongs? I've heard it said on here that a team should be rewarded for having a good record, but if they put don't challenge themselves by scheduling tough teams, should they really be rewarded?
I personally spoke with the AD from SD, and a call was put in to play NV on the JV level. NV declined. Not a big deal, just a fact.
Don, your placement of Bishop Amat is right on at # 5. It's right in line with #1fan's post.
" The top 25 means the best team in SGV not best record because the TRUE top teams in SGV play schools outside the SGV."
The talent is so wide spread from Orange, San Bernardino and L.A. Counties; I don't think B.A. will ever be the team they were. There are just to many great players. Why would I send my kid to La Puente/Bassett when I could go to Servite, Orange Lutheran, Mater Dei or any other school. Parents are smart, they aren't going to send their kid to the ghetto just to play football.....For those of you who aren't familiar with the area. The area surrounding B.A. is leading L.A. county in murders... and thats a fact.....
Amat fans, The Farrar family is catholic, might be a good fit.
LA CONQ fans...
Last Friday's loss to Wilson was not due to bad luck. With 5 minutes to go LA was down by 6 and had the ball!!
Then our CONQS QB took over and did his stuff; wide left...wide right...too low...too high..behind receiver...tipped at line etc, etc.
Unfortunately his best looking pass of the night was a 95 yard interception for a Wildcats TD!!
Ouch..that one hurt!
Oh well, there's always next year.

If Gano does go to Bishop Amat, can we get a Head Coach that has good leadership and communication skills? Gano doesn't seam like a very strong leader. His coaching staff talks a lot about him being very insecure. I feel that comes from his lack of confidence as a head coach. If Gano stays on maybe overtime his leadership skills could improve.
How in the hell is San Dimas still ranked above the Braves from Baldwin Park in the CIF polls. Obviously the people in charge of the polls weren't at the game. BP completely man handled them. Their so-called "star" running back fumbled 4 times and ran for only about 60 yards. he didn't know what hit him over and over all game long. I guess SD learned a little about how hard "those kids" can play. Great job Braves on a league championship and good luck in the playoffs.
MOUNTAIN VIEW and EL MONTE ranked OVER Rowland???? YOUGOTTABE*******KIDDINGME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
20. Mountain View (4-4)
21. El Monte (5-4)
22. Rowland (3-6)
23. Diamond Bar (2-7)
24. Azusa (4-5)
25. Nogales (2-7)
26. Workman (2-6)
27. Sierra Vista (3-6)
28. Gladstone (3-7)
29. Walnut (1-8)
30. Western Chirstian (2-7)
31. Bassett (0-9)
There is no way Coach Gano or his daughter are going to Bishop Amat. That's complete bs. Gano is the head coach now for softball and he's already making plans for his future softball program.... As far as the Wilson vs LA game I gotta give credit to Tim Gilmore (not Wilson). That kid has blazing speed. Pretty much won the game on his own, had the game of his life that night. Los Altos also couldn't tackle to save there lives too. I still feel a healthy LA Football team would've easily won. But would've could've should've....
Good Luck against Bonita Conqs!
Gano at Bishop,
with his ability to lure kids to los altos could you imagine if he was at Bishop Amat. I don't know who would take over at LA but you would have to think Bishop would be absolutely loaded if he goes there.
That's not what I heard from Gano's staff. They are talking about who would stay and who would go.
Gano made the call is pure BS. Verti is coming back.
Anonymous 9:10
Yes there is something wrong in Lancerland( and thank you for not saying the AMAT NATION )but really put any of the teams above us in our 7 loses and we would probably be 7-4 or better. The rankings are what they are and we are where we should be if not lower in the eyes of many others.
I heard that Gano has already made the phone call.
What is the truth to Verti being out as coach of BA? I hear he is coming back.
1.South Hills – A bit more decisive victory last week than the “other two” guys. (Hey maybe it was just the prime time.)
2.Glendora – Should have put Ayala away easier than they did
3.Charter Oak – Bonita gave them way more trouble than they should have
4.Diamond Ranch – Panthers try to make the playoffs and a point
5.Bishop Amat - Lost to, but not shamed by Notre Dame
6.Damien – Showdown in the Sierra (for third) with Chino Hills
7.San Dimas – NW Division isn't stacked quite like some others so # 2 V V seed isn't a playoff killer
8.Bonita – Gave the Chargers all they could handle Friday night
9.Los Altos – Too many two-way starters hurt but always dangereous
10.South El Monte – Has to be in the running for the SGV turnaround team of the year
11.Baldwin Park – Your wife lied to you, size does matter
12.Alhambra – Gotta beat Shurr to win the Almont
13.San Gabriel – Good run in a crazy league
14.Duarte – Finally sees a stiff defense from of all places, La Puente
15.West Covina – After putting Wanut out of their pain, the 'Dogs will be rewarded with El Dorado, Canyon, or Trabuco Hills
16.La Puente – Another SGV turnaround candidate
17.Arcadia – Sinking like a sunset in the Pacific
18.Rosemead – Looking for # 2 in the MVL
19.Northview – Vikings fans are like something from a scary movie; just when you thought you'd heard the last of them ...
20.Arroyo – Coulda, shoulda, woulda
21.Covina – Real underdogs against the Saints who need to finish strong
I'm rooting for Glendora to win it all. That gives El Do a shot at the State Bowl game against De La Salle. (Of course we have to win the Southwest Div. first. Go Tartans!
now you have be curious about the jv level. when sd jv wins cov jv and if bp jv loses to nv jv, does that mean sd and nv are co-league?? BUT, what if bp jv win nv jv, does that mean it is a 3 way? sorry, but until now i was just really focus on the varsity level
saint fan.. recheck your facts.. sd is the one who forfeit the game against nv. it was no big deal. so yes, IF nv jv wins on thursday, than yes they will be league champ. the sd vs nv jv was not cancelled nor postponed, it was forfeit by san dimas. maybe the reason is that they care more for their players than nv does for theirs.
Actually that guy who runs a sub 4.4 40 actually runs a 4.3.
Everyone knows that Verti is out, and Gano wants out of LA. It it common knowledge that Gano has applied at other schools over the last three years. Gano has been talking all year about stepping down and who would be his replacement. Open your eyes and see reality. Ever since Brigham and Cody left the LA program has gone down hill.
As far as the Wilson/Los Altos Game being luck. How do you call a guy that runs a sub 4.4 in the 40 and scores 6 touchdowns against LA luck. Now lets look at the quarterback position, Wilson has Tomsio who went I believe 14-18 in passing and Los Altos has some reject BA quarterback that completed 1 or 2 passing all game. That is call skill not luck, grow up take the loss like a man.
When The La Puente Warriors are ranked Higher than Bishop Amat something is terribly wrong in Lancerland.
wow! first of all the wilson game was the luckiest game of the year, dont even get started on los altos' softball team, cuz they are real this year. FYI gano's daughter is one heck of an athlete, she is staying at LA idk where your hearing all this BA bs.
BTW, I know the Saints had a bad game against BP, it happens. Let's be honest though, SD would beat BP 99 out of 100 times. To BP's credit they got it done the night it counted. I just feel the cif rankings are justified.
Solid pro,
I agree with you, if any team in the MVL is to be ranked, it should be SEM. I don't think it will make a difference anyways. SEM, Rosemead and Arroyo will all be bounced in the 1st round.
I know most people here don't care about JV levels, However San Dimas has not lost any league games over the past two years, and with a win over Covina this week they will complete their second 9-1 season in a row. Saw someone on here say that NV vs BP was for league. Just wanted to make that correction. Also, SD wanted to play Northview, which would have been played on Monday due to the fires, but NV coaches declined. Just keeping it honest!
DSM22s,
"want an earned "W" more then any team this week."
Wake up did you see that game last week against Wilson.
If you can't get up for a Los Altos vs. Wilson Game then how are you going to get up for a Los Altos vs. Bonita game?
HOT HOT HOT HOT
A friend of mind told me why Gano pulls so many kids from BA. He was pissed off that he didn't get the BA job a few years back and ever since he feels the more kids he pulls from BA the better chance he has of getting the job next time it opens up. It is kind of chick sh*t some of these kids are just to prove a point, no intent to play them.
He really wants his daughter to go to BA and play softball over their. He doesn't feel that the programs over at LA will get his daughter the looks that she deserves.
Fred you dont make sence if you think Amat will beat 10 teams above them then why not put them were they belong you have DR with 2 wins at #4. The top 25 means the best team in SGV not best record because the TRUE top teams in SGV play schools outside the SGV.
I am concerned about how tough the Inland Division really is.
Looking at power ratings, the Inland Division has 3 teams in the State's top 20 (Centennial #3 ,Redlands East Valley #6 and Vista Murrieta #16), 5 additional teams in the top 100 and 2 additional teams in the top 130.
In comparison, the Southwest Division has 1 team in the top 30 (El Dorado #28), 3 additional teams in the top 130 and 6 additional teams beyond.
Inland Division will be extremely difficult for our local teams to advance.
"i feel u TT el do is an elite team thats for sure 1-7 in the southwest could beat anyone in our valley on any given night though..."

Here, I thought Glendora fans were the the only cocky fans! GEEEZ
I am confused? Why isn't South El Monte(# 7) in the CIF rankings beating both Alhambra and Rosemead? I love when small schools/underdogs make noise CIF. Shhh! GO EAGLES!!

we'll see thursday.. hands down all money on Los Altos, they are guna want an earned "W" more then any team this week. bonita goes down.
GO LA!!!!!!!!!!
Fred,
I understand,
and also I guess it wouldn't be right to have a team with 4 wins& 5 losses in the top ten.
CIF at 11/6 3:35pm,
You got no clue about the Southwest, Eldo is the favorite but there are others. I believe Charter Oak, Trabuco Hills, or South Hills can give them a good game, it won't be as onesided as it was when Eldo played Glendora, No offense Glendora cause I think you are better than what you showed when you played ElDorado. I still would pick Eldo if you played them again but I think you would be within 1 or 2 touchdowns of them.
Dan,
I think Bishop Amat would beat about ten of the teams I have ranked in front of them, but deserving to be ranked ahead of them is a different thing.
i wonder why they put san dimas ahead of baldwin park in the cif ranking? baldwin park played batter teams in my opinion.the only thing is that san dimas has a better record, but that shouldnt matter cause baldwin park beat them.
ex-falcon.
the cif rankings do matter, the #1 seed plays a low seeded team.
I'll bet West Covina would beat 4 or 5 of those top ten teams Fred, you saw it last thursday, they are a different team now, no problem though,
we all have our different opinions.
...Conqs Done
I must sadly agree, the LA passing game this year is a 'Comedy Of Errors'.
Even when receivers are wide open -which is not often- the ball is usually; overthrown...wide left...wide right...too low...too high..behind receiver...tipped at line etc, etc.
Wait, wait there's more...
Or even worse, thrown directly to DB who promptly runs it back 95 yards for touchdown (Wilson game).
It's difficult to watch....
~Football Jones~
when the palyoffs come none of that ranking stuff matters. let get it done falcons!
i feel u TT el do is an elite team thats for sure
1-7 in the southwest could beat anyone in our valley on any given night though...
And "breaking news", we know that you have some tough teams locally of course...CO, DR, SH & LA (when healthy). We just feel that El Do is on a different level, based on what we experienced. Maybe you can prove that feeling wrong, but the rest of their work this year seems to support it so far. We'll see come the finals though (or sooner?). I'd guess that we're more likely to be watching you play in 3+ weeks than the other way around the more I look at our division, but let's hope Fred has lots to cover come the of the month and beyond!
JFR,
I'll take that one. Yes, Etiwanda beat Los Osos (not by much though) which is why they are currently in first in the Baseline. They play Upland this week (who lost to Los Osos), so win and they are the 5-0 champs. Lose and it's a 3-way tie for first. If you're wondering how Los Osos is "ahead" of Eti in CIF, Los O has been rated high all year and Etiwanda has not gotten the respect they deserve IMO. They lost a couple early (us, Chino Hills & Serrano) to teams that turned out to be pretty good, but that put them in a hole with CIF I guess. They've had a tough schedule...tougher than ours I'll admit. But Los Osos is a very good team. This may help show that a team is not necessarily better than another just because they lost head to head ;) OK, sorry I just couldn't resist that one.
anyone who thinks el do is the only tough team in the southwest division does not know a lot about anything...thats the tartan tryin to get a reaction out of a charger...and congrats it worked haha
stupid post though...
Los Altos is not going to make it to the playoffs this year you are done with. Gano be ready for it to be your first year not to make playoffs. Everyone knows all you have to do is stop the run because you certainly cannot pass. Go Bonita
GHS FAN,
Correct me if I'm wong, but didn't Etiwanda work over Los Osos earlier this year.
I look at the programs listed in the Mighty CIF Inland Division, one of the toughest division in the state, and all I can say is, REAL NICE TO BE AMONG THOSE SCHOOLS!
Inland Division
1. Corona Centennial (8-1), 2. Vista Murrieta (9-0), 3. Redlands East Valley (9-0), 4. Norco (8-1), 5. A.B. Miller (8-1), 6. Chaparral (6-3), 7. Los Osos (7-2), 8. GLENDORA (7-2), 9. Upland (6-3), 10. Etiwanda (6-3).
Rosemead could be coming around at the right time and Glendora as well!

"Sorry. I really ment to say Inland and NORTHWEST divisions as being real scary"
Well you are right about one thing. The Inland Division is tough.
As for the Southwest Division, the Sea View, Century, and Miramonte are full of teams who could run the table, (with the exception of Oaks Christian), in the Northwest and I think C O, El Do, Foothill and Trabuco Hills might come out on top against Coach Redell's squad.
SGV has a lot to be proud of;
To - CO, SH, & DR...you proved without a doubt that the CIF PLAYOFS would never be the same without your teams fighting for the crown. Best of luck to all!
To - La Puente, Duarte, Cantwell, Temple City, and La Salle ....you've created a buzz now go out and prove beyond our valley what you're made of. Best of Luck!
To - San Dimas and Baldwin Park...no more talk...continue to make non-believers...believe! Best of Luck!
To - Alhambra, San Gabriel, Rosemead and Schurr fight to the finish and leave it all on the field. Best of Luck!
To - Glendora...to me, as well as others...you are our best and our pride...continue to work as a team...and continue to believe. Be the Best!
It's been a great year....thanks to all...see ya in the Sunday paper.
PLAID LAD
