Nogales plays Glendora tonight at 6:30 at Gahr H.S. gym in the N. Orange Co. Tourney. 2 Top local teams going at it should be good. We don't get to play Glendora that often.

Kendall, are you complaining about Bishop Amat coverage one week into the season? Be patient, I believe there was a picture of McCarthy on our season preview, and we're covering them this week in the Arroyo tournament. BTW, we printed the old photo of her for the preview because we didn't like new one they took this season.

Diamond Bar beat Laguna Hills yesterday 53-48. The brahmas were led by Eli York 19 pts 11 boards. Travis Hummell had 14 and 10. Today the brahmas meet LB Poly at 3:30 pm at Troy hs.

bishop amat has been to the state championships four years in a row and has one of the best high school girls basketball players in the nation, #5, kristen mccarthy as its leader. she is the "michael jordan" of girls basketball. why no coverage of this team. they won the rancho tournament beating etiwanda convincingly and being named mvp (21 points). you even printed an old photo from last year. kindly show a little respect to bishop amat. thank you

Glendora's playing in the huge North Orange County Tourney starting tonight. They play a very good Mission Viejo team at 5pm at Sonora H.S. in La Habra. I think Diamond Bar is also in this tourney that includes a couple of the Long Beach Schools, Los Alamitos, Mater Dei, M.L.King, Gahr, Tesoro and on... 32 teams in all. Should be a good one. Games are at Sonora, Troy and La Serna mostly. Some at Gahr and Rowland (who's also in the tourney along with Nogales, now that I'm looking at it on glendorabasketball.com). Go SGV.
