If Damien and Glendora were not in the same league then how come we played them every year in league you idiot! They were in the Baseline League with Damien, Pomona, Alta Loma, Don Lugo, Upland, Claremont, and Chaffey. Get your facts straight ya schmuck!!

To all your haters on Glendora i wouldn't be talking that much because we definitly dominated damien tonight so you all can get over yourself and keep denying that Glendora isn't that good cuz we are..you'll soon learn it yourself. ooh and to Dr. Fan DTC is one of our best players..but our team is pretty strong too. DTC had 14 points this game so that must mean that the other 34 points came from the rest of our team. Get your facts straight before you go off on Glendora for actually being a good team. Can't say the same for yours because if i remember last year we "Ruined your season and your team bonding" what a great team you have hopefully that happened again this year. And why are you hating on Glendora so much, just because they are good at sports, what a great reason.

TURNCOAT!!! haha, in 1986 Damien wasn't even in the same League. Glendora yes, was close in distance but come on. I've been to the last 11 games and the 10 wins were amazing. Cal, Coz,Allen,Josh and Brian have really stepped up. Dom is a GOD we all know that, but the other boys step up when they need to. From down by 14 at Chino Hills and then come back with defence that shut Harkey down and pulled away in the 4th. And the Ayala squad without A.J isnt much.
Glendora vs Damien tomorrow will be a step up game for both teams. Defense will win this game, think 45-50 points on each side.

I just wanted to put out a yo to all the Walnut girls teams. They are in first in Soccer, Basketball, and don't even get me stated on their girl water polo team. Great job girls.
P.S Yes Tiger Cortez is that good.

Looking at the Girls Basketball top 10. I have one question. How can Covina leap frog Diamond Ranch. Covina's record is impressive. But they played in the Wilson, Covina, and Rowland Tournaments. I wonder if they would be 19-1 is they played in the Colony, San Dimas, or the Elite Bracket in the Ayala Tournaments. Looks like the Colts need to upgrade that Marshmellow schedule if they want us to put them in the class with Amat and Diamond Ranch.

It's all on tomorrow night at our house! (well, it's actually at Damien, but we like the new house so well we'll call it a second home). Seriously, should be some serious roundball and crowd frenzy that's not to be missed. The Damien-Bonita game was pretty good, but this one will help determine the real top dog in the Val. BTW, Fred how did Bonita flip back over with Damien into the top spot? And how do they get past the Tartans after their big win over Ayala? I know, it's all kinda bunched at the top, but this week should help clear some things up.

I'm Damien '86 and remember LeDuc teaching /coaching at Damien. I still consider him a bit of a turncoat for going to coach at Glendora - although the pay/benefits/etc. were probably better for him and his family. Okay, maybe turncoat is a bit strong, but going to a rival school? It's kinda cool, though, that the rivalry is still going on at a high level twenty years (plus) later.
If it's true about Morrison being out at Damien, that's unfortunate. I don't know any inside story about what might have happened with the admin, but he and his family have always been great Spartans. Scotty was always a good dude. Maybe you can find some scuttlebutt on the Alumni pages at the Damien website.
We'll return again!

Giammalva,
Your a loser. Do you even know who you are talking about? Get a clue. Weren't you the guy that didn't even start on your football squad this past season. You suck!!!

I am a class of '79 graduate of Damien and I just got some news I'm not sure about. Would like your opinion. Supposedly, Morrison has been fired and will be replaced by Gano. The announcement is to take place sometime this week. From what our alumni have been telling me it was a long time coming as far as the administration was concerned and Morrison has known for a couple of weeks.
I can't believe this if it's true. How could you let a man of that stature go. Gano is great, but he is not a Spartan. If this is true it is a sad day for the Spartans.
Alumni like to talk so if anyone has heard more please let me know.

Tartans, it's time you realize that Tiger-Cortez is not that great. You will be humbled once again.
