Coach Pasq has lost more big games than he has won in his coaching career, that's all im saying. I actually think he's a pretty good coach overall and much better than alot of hs coaches that are out there but he has not won a cif title. And if you go back to his ayala days and now some here at glendora he's had some capable teams and some real chances to get it done. Meanwhile coach Leduc gets it done in the playoffs like no other. I just couldnt be more impressed with this latest run hes made with this group of kids. Ironic that the semis will be held in Damiens new gym. Another subtle dig from coach Leduc as he's the first to take his team to the semis in "their" gym. of course he's beaten them probably 40 out of 42 times since leaving damien so that's probably good enough.

I was at Saturday game between Walnut and Colony.
Almost ever play on Colony was taller then amy Walnut player. #32 on Colony played a great game. It was close up to the 4th QT.

I hard today that coach P is not letting Woods play the rest of the play off because she got a Red Card last week. Did he not see how Link play last game. He needs to get his head out of his ass

LV Luthern's game, along with the other lower division title games are at Colony H.S. Part of the benefits of playing with the big boys is the Championships are played in the bigger venues. Good luck to LV though, SGV pride on the line. Nice win over a decent Maranatha team. I'd say that justifies them being ranked in the lower half of the SGV top ten. The top 5 or 6 teams though are clearly better than Maranatha.

this new program for sgv football players sounds like just what is needed, part of the knock on pasqy is that he does not promote his players to d1 and d2 schools, alot of incoming kids are afraid they wont get the backup from their coach when it comes to college. of course it would help if the kids had the talent in the first place

Damien's new gym probably holds about the same as GHS. Might be a few less seats but they have standing room on the tops. Pasqy's not Marty. Remember football starts with just 16 team bracket whereas basketball's is 32. So he made it to the quarters this year and with a better draw may have made the semis as well. Both coaches are solid and both programs are in great shape. Doing it almost exclusively with local kids. Next year's B-ball looks like it will be basically all home-grown kids. There's enough talent in this town, the kids just need more work and experience. The coaching staff helps make that happen. That's what makes it tough to be a multi-sport guy at GHS. You miss a lot of training time during the spring & summer and other kids improve. Logic says the Tartans don't have a shot tomorrow night, but their heart, talent and coaching combined has defied logic so far. Let's see what happens! Game might be a sellout, so get your tickets early.

Damien has a new state-of-the-art gym - not too huge, but not small either. Should make for a great atmosphere.

This is the difference between the ftb and the bsk programs at Glendora. One guy consistently makes runs and has cif titles and the other guy is just marty like shottenheimer. LeDucs the man and pasqy, well....is not! Good job hoops program!
