I can see by your post that you don't seem to have any other rebuttal regarding the sports programs at La Puente.

About a year ago, in this very blog, I recall many bloggers accusing the La Puente administration and athletic director making mistakes in hiring the personnel necessary to field succesful sports programs. One football league championship later, not to mention a league title in boys soccer and boys basketball, it seems like the administration and athletic director made pretty good choices to me. Yet, your only response is "lapuente is a still crap hole place to live."

We have not all been blessed by your financial stabilities in life. Do us a favor and stop responding, dummy.

Sounds like you were watching the Wilson game....

Watched part of a Miramonte Boy's Soccer game yesterday from near one of the endzone corners. Up in the stands was a female fan whose instructions to the team on the field, (and one player in particular), were easy to hear across the pitch.

What she couldn't hear were the loud muttered replies from one of the boys playing; “Shut up!”, “Just shut up!”, and “%&$* you”.

A couple of times, players from the opposing team broke out into big smiles and giggles when they heard the responses.

To my dearest “REAL Charger Fan”,

This is J.R., and against my belief of getting into a pointless "Internet Argument", I feel it necessary to clear the air with you since you boldly decided to personally involve me.

I am flattered that you think highly enough of me to consider the anonymous post by someone labeled “Charger Fan” to be one of my own. If you knew me at all, you would also know that I have no issues or fears of going directly to anyone about any grievances that I may have.

I do peruse these anonymous postings for the sheer chuckle they offer as people think they can blatantly point fingers and accuse others of various things under the cloak of anonymity. However, I have never myself posted anything on any blog or forum.

Not that I have to explain anything to you, but I have gone to the coach with both concerns and praise of how she has handled the season. I have also overheard the displeasure and frustrations that some parents have stated. Plain and simple, people can say and do as they wish; I don’t need to be grouped in with anyone to have my opinions validated; as I have no problem expressing myself directly.

Have the first two seasons I have experienced had some frustrations along the way, sure they have. But I do not need to be one of those parents consistently screaming at my daughter, making constant comments from the sideline, thinking the team revolves around my child. It clearly does not and is never intended to. This is a team effort, and that does not focus solely on the 11 on the field, this would include the full roster as you are only as strong as your weakest player.

Plain and simple, I would not doubt that you are the same person that posted under “Charger Fan”, and then regretted what you said, so now it’s easier to try and deflect your embarrassment by now being “A REAL Charger Fan” calling me out.

I would encourage you to contact me and discuss why you feel the previous post came from me, and give me your thoughts and criticism of how I have gone beyond being a parent supporting my child, her teammates, and her school. I would love to hear any criticism you have of my mostly quiet demeanor during these High School matches.

Learn some respect and express your displeasure with the coach one on one, rather than behind their back on this forum. You know who you are and all the other parents know who you are too, J.R. Whats makes you think you can stand on a podium and criticize ANYONE, becuase we ALL could think of some things to put you down with too!

Sad to see/hear the coach from CO worse than an AYSO rookie coach always yelling at her girls about positioning and what they should have done.

And don't get me started on the joke of an asst they have as well.

CO Coach - when you are down 1-0 with 30 minutes left, you should really consider playing with more than 2 forwards up top, and not really worry about playing the flat four that clearly killed your team this year. (All the teams you struggled with played that sweeper defense you frown on)

At that point, no meaning to the game if you would have lost 5-0 to 1-0, you killed your own season.

Even though my daughter won't be back next season, I hope we can find a coach that knows what they are doing in training and game situations.

The Bonita and CO (Girls) game was not a joke....we dominated and proved we are the best team in Miramonte. We will prove this on Thurs again when we dominate LA, they are the real joke of Girls Varsity in Miramonte, go ahead and put Bonita on the #1 spot for Miramonte Fred!!

The way I look at it, the Warriors ought to be ranked higher than Wilson HS. Our young men were beating WiHS 3-0 until the game was stopped when one of the Wilson players sustained a serious injury. Just like in football and everything else we do, we get very little respect. Our soccer coach has built a solid program over the last few years. Even though we continually lose some of our best athletes to LAHS and WiHS we still overcome. LPHS is turning things around. If you are at that school and are messing around and getting in trouble you will be gone. LPHS only wants serious students and this is how we will start to compete against the best around. Football--undefeated league champs, boys soccer--league champs, boys basketball--first place in league. Not too shabby.

According to CIF southern section rules, a player who played JV first and then Varsity second on the same day will result in the forfeit of the second game.

I heard the LA Wilson game was a tie. Please can I hear from a Wilson fan, so I don't have to hear how all the Wilson goals were weak and the LA kids are all CIF?

According to CIF rules, is a Player allowed to participate in two games in one day, for example, JV at 3:00 pm and Varsity at 7:00 pm?

my mistake..it was scored by #18 of diamond ranch who currently has 17 goals and 10 in league.

Fred, i just looked on Diamond Bars scoreboard and saw that the DB girls soccer defeated St Lucy's. Where does this put everybody in the Sierra league?

Amat should be up on this top ten. They tied wilson and are in a way tougher league than all of these teams. They deserve to be up here. Just a thought

Nice to continue seeing LA boys on your list. Our boys have beaten South hills and Baldwin park who are ranked higher. Goes to show the quality of our team. Last weeks loss to Diamond Ranch was a heart breaker especially when their coach admitted that their winning goal was offsides. Go LA!
