Fraijo leads Vikings past Colts, 3-1

Northview's Hannah Fraijo struck out 11 and scored a run in the Vikings' 3-1 win over Covina for first place in the Valle Vista league. I'm not ready to say Fraijo is the best pitcher I've seen so far, but I certainly haven't seen anyone better. Colts pitcher Jill Huntsman also played well, but she didn't get a lot of help defensively, with all three runs scoring on errors. Covina had a chance in the seventh, loading the bases with two-outs, but Andrea Montoya's dipping fly to center was grabbed by Ashley Mata, who dove head-first to make the play to end the game.
On the other side of town Los Altos beat Charter Oak 4-1, and give it up for Sierra Vista pitcher Brittney Flores, who struck out 13 and threw a no-hitter in the Dons' 4-1 win over Azusa.

like i said my question was to fred or the Northview coach pertaining to Fraijos era.and the player in front of our superstar{as you put it} got on with a single not a walk or an error or anything else you might say.it was a hit.so now you answer me why does it say that there were no earned runs?and as for the 3rd rbi of the game it started off w an international runner at 2nd,she was then moved over then Patterson brought her in.I can see if that one doesnt go as earned {which im not sure about that one either?}but the 1st two????

Like I said get your facts straight... You are seriously asking what division SD is in. Well, SD is in the same division that NV is in which is 5. Which LA just squeaked by... Bottom line any given day anyone can win...

Sorry you can't compare you'r SD pitchers with any of the others. You'r overrating you'r own pitchers!
Base on Balls also contribute to unearned runs. If the player in front your superstar walked then the runs could very well be unearned.

I have a question? this is actually more to the Northview coach? in the game between LA and NORTHVIEW you have it as Fraijo having an era of .000. but Diana had a 2 run homerun and also the game winning single none of them from errors.so i was just wondering how you figured they werent earned? Please dont take my questioning as bashing her or the team!!! Im a huge fan of hers and your team THERES NO DOUBT IN MY MIND THESE ARE THE 2 BEST PITCHERS IN THE VALLEY!!! maybe it was overlooked?

The real story that should be reported is that everybody caught up to Kourtneys fastball besides that she really has nothin else?for you to say the other 2 pitchers are overrated!!!your crazy!!! just look at the stats and the teams theyve played both this year and last year yours dont compare. i dont even think combined they add up to dianas from last year or this year!!! You dont have a clue of what a dominating pitcher is either, in LA'S losses youll see Diana dominated but still lost either on errors or cuz they werent hitting? look at era's they dont come close to Pattersons or Fraijo's.and you cant say its errors cuz its earned runs!!!
San Dimas is good. But didnt Los Altos beat them 4-0 in the San Dimas Tournament? I guess that Los Altos pitcher shut them down.
all we here is about la and nv pitchers... But in reality the SD pitcthers yes i'm talking about both pitchers are very dominating!!! the only reason SD is down is because their bats blah blah! Sad but true... LA and NV overated but SD both pitchers are dominating!!! And parents lay off!!! If you ask the PLAYERS THEY WOULD AGREE!!!! When the SD bats finally wake up there is no stopping them!!!!! Fred you know that's the real story! So you should report it!!! Flash back... last year NV vs SD 10 innings who won and who pitched!!!!! SD baby won!!!

Do you know how many close games LA has lost due to error's?
your only run yesterday should have been a single, but the ball was missed played in the outfield and your runner advanced to 3rd, so LA finally was able to capitalize on someone else's errors and our bat's are starting to wake up

Good pitching duel today between Fraijo and Huntsman. Except for a dropped fly ball by the freshman shortstop and two runs scored ...they could still be playing. Can't wait for the rematch. Both quality teams.

You should of seen the battle between Fraijo and Patterson when LA beat Northview. Patterson had 13 K's and Fraijo 11 K's. I would definitely say those 2 are the best pitchers in the area.
As far as today's game. I can't believe I'm saying this because I'm a LA fan, but I feel bad for Charter Oak. They have no Pitching. We'll see how far their offense can take them.
Los Altos played a great game against Charter Oak and came out in front 4-1.
