Softball Rankings & Leaderboard
Nothing changes at the top. The Bishop Amat-Los Altos game could have gone either way on Saturday, but the Lancers got the edge in the tiebreaker, 4-3. Charter Oak is slowly starting to look like Charter Oak again, which sets up a great game with Los Altos this week. Covina continues its climb up the ladder to No. 4 after last week's 4-0 win over San Dimas, and speaking of the Saints, what's going on? It's not just the four straight losses, they can't score any runs. It will also be interesting to see what Glendora and Diamond Bar do in the Sierra League.

San Gabriel Valley Tribune top ten
1. Bishop Amat (7-3)
Beat Los Altos, then finished second in Arroyo tournament
2. Charter Oak (8-3)

6. South El Monte (4-3)
At least you can say the Eagles haven't ducked anyone.

This is what you get with two quality pitchers, a .500 record?
8. Diamond Bar (5-3-1)
A surprising 4-3 loss to Walnut
9. San Dimas (3-4)
Four straight losses? And they've been shutout in all four.
10. Sierra Vista (6-3)

Walnut is a decent team with alot of young talent.
BIG DADDY ROD,
Jasmin Chavez? come on! You can't but her in the same category as Hannah Fraijo. Your daughter J. Arrant hope she is hitting well.
Day after losing a tough game to SH 6-4 Walnut came back to kill Nogales 16-0.
My boys play football for Covina. One is graduating this June and one next year. I was watching Covina and San Dimas. I ask my boys about her and some of the other players. The girl is good. I wil give props to some of the other players in the area. To keep it even since I've only seen 2 games so far. Fred, keep and eye on Heather Harrison from Northview, Jill Huntsman from Covina, Tara Smith from Covina, Hannah Fraijo from Northview and Jazzmin Arrant from Covina, Jazmin Chavez from Northview, Angel Martinez from West Covina, and Dekota Monarrez and the list goes on. I have coached in the area and have coached some of these girls brothers or my boys have played ball with them. I was just putting it out there. I will be at the game on Thursday and by Friday I will have a new list of players to watch. It's just my opinion. I wish she was my girl!
wanna bet big daddy's kid is the ss at covina??? haha... come on dad - take a back seat. enjoy and good luck
Big Daddy, I'm all over it, covering it and sending a photographer.
Fred, Great early season match up on Thursady. Covina at Northview. I hope that you can get some coverage for that game. I know that it will bet a great turn out. I saw Northview and San Dimas yesterday. It was a pretty good game. Low hitting affair. I don't expect the same on Thursday. Covina has some pretty good Bangers. It should be a really good game.
See if you can get the Covina coach to give up a little info. I would like to see how's doing what for the team. He doesn't have to give up numbers just names. I heard that he has a pretty good SS. Any plans on covering players and positions in the area. I would like to see who the best of the best are.
I am curious to know what went wrong for Los Altos yesterday? How did you lose to a team that is not on the radar? Were you out played or out coached?
Watch Bonita, They are coming around and are going to cause problems in league before all is said and done.

It's not that Northview didn't look so hot. They are a good team. The problem is that people out there are not giving our pitchers credit. We do have two solid pitchers that are doing their job! Our pitchers in the last 5 games have only given up 4 earned runs if that. We leave runners on everytime and just cannot bring them in. I think it's time for our coaches to look at our line up and stop taking girls that are hitting and making contact and putting girls that don't hit for blah. The bottom of our line up is to be questioned... Please coaches let's get the right line up. Pulling out Victoria was a mistake. Of course my opionion as a player... We are definitely a great team that is having difficulty producing runs. We don't strike out a lot. We hit the ball and we hit it hard but to the wrong places... Just needed to to find SD Player.
Don't forget Walnut beat Diamond Bar
Make 5 for San Dimas. Northview didnt look to hot.
Los Altos is OVER RATED,,,,
DRANCH RULES!!!
Diamond Ranch 2 Los ALtos 0
DR 2-0 in Miramonte League.
What are you trying to say ...
Glendora needs a Coach ?
