Softball Leaderboard & Dramatic Wins
Northview 3, San Dimas 2, 13 innings: Hannah Fraijo looked dejected, sitting in the corner of Northview High School's dugout when catcher Heather Harrison hit a two-out triple in the seventh inning to drive home Chrissy McPhail from first to tie the score against host San Dimas, 2-2.
"My heart fell to my stomach," Fraijo said. "I was shocked."
Then it was Fraijo's turn in the 13th inning. She smacked a two-out triple to left-center to score Jazmine Chavez from second to give the Vikings a dramatic 3-2 come-from-behind victory over the seven-time defending league champions. Fraijo also pitched the entire game, closing it out with eight consecutive shutout innings while scattering nine hits over 13 innings to keep the Vikings (13-3, 7-0) on top of the Valle Vista League standings while essentially eliminating the Saints (6-7, 3-4) from any thoughts of contending for their eighth straight title.
"I kept telling myself we weren't going to lose, even though it didn't look very good," Fraijo said. "When Heather got that hit, the adrenalline just started kicking in again. I knew we were going to win it. I didn't know how long it would take, but I knew we woud get it."
Los Altos 4, Diamond Ranch 3, 9 innings: Los Altos scored two unearned runs in thebottom of the seventh to tie the score, 3-3. Then in the ninth inning, Roxanne Avalos led off with a single, and was sacrificed to second. That set the stage for freshman Courtney Gano's game-winning two-out single to drive home Avalos for the game winner.

ALL STARS YEAH RIGHT!! ONLY IN THE COACHES EYES! WOULD NEVER BE LIKE THAT IN THE REAL SOFTBALL WORLD!!!
FRED
still noone has fixed Hannahs era against los altos it says .000 when in fact all 3 runs were rbis by hits not walks or errors!!! maybe thats why the boys decided to not vote to post thier stats? seems like something fishys going on? at the end are all their stats gonna be padded as well? maybe the northview coach should hook up with the charter oak coach? im sure that whole team will be filled with all stars!!!
Fred,
Last posting is so right. That coach over there(at CO) only looks out for his favorites every year!! They need to be fair and not only add the good things to the books but they also need to add AALLL the bad. Meaning all the errors and K's. A triple isn't really a triple if it was given to the batter becuase of an error get with it and a homerun isn't a homerun if it was because of an error we know you want to make them look good but come on!!!
FRED,
To bad you couldn't actually look at stat books or be at every game and keep your own stats! Charter Oaks really doesn't seem to be very accurate they need to be re-schooled on how to keep accurate stats. Very questionable averages! Not a fan of who keeps that stats for that school and how they are looked over and fixed after each game!! Feel sorry for the girls!!
Fred, do you know what teams will be at the Charter Oak tournament? Looks like SD is haveing a rough season. I didn't know that they won league 7 years in a row. Wow that is amazing. Looks like NV has the upper hand. Should be a really good game when NV and Covina meet again.
Fred,
Diana-Lynn's ERA as of your posting time today was .484 not .84, looks like you forgot the .4 in front of the .8
