Don’t get to happy. Yes you pitcher did a great job. Walnut sophomore Peralta Walnut #4 pitcher shut you down for 3 ½ inning. Then the coach put in a kid who didn’t warm up to pitch. The last pitcher never pitches before so I hope you was hitting. Yes Pill home run was a foul ball.

DB good game. Walnut did it a gain. 2 outs and give up 4 runs in one inning. Sound like the SH game. Fred Diamond Bar should be in your top 5 by now.

randy said:

No Pat, I'm not Studts son.....now thier was a football coach....whatever happened to him?

patrick said:

Thnx Don for the stats!....I was kinda shocked that even Maxpreps had only a couple of scores.

Fred must be choking as we speak, he just had Covina ranked 2nd along with a bunch of excuses of two games they should have won. Fred i know you were hoping in selling us this great story so i guess you must now have to work a little harder, do some real scouting and look at all the other great players in the area.
For expample Fred do you know there is a great pitcher for Rowland, who has over 50 Ks?
Of course you didn't, his name is Flores a lefthanded. Get out of the NV league once in while you may learn a few things.

Do some walking instead of taking a Pill.

Haha...Randy?? are you Randy as in Randy Studt?? Coache's son ???

sgvbaseballfan said:

Well covina being"untouchable" is far from the truth they have been in a slump for the past 2 weeks.. the 2nd game yesterday the colts seemed to bust out of this rut beating walnut 9-1, david olivas threw a 1 hitter through 6 1/3... more important than anything the colts were back to hitting line drives.. Yes they did lose 3 in a row so they deserve to drop but they are still a contender whoever they step on the field with

randy said:

i hope that info is legit about sweeping yesterday......DB can still bring it on the diamond, we still got game......fools better recognize! DB-'87 with a junior at the school now! We bleed Purple and Gold fa eva baby!

patrick said:

Does anybody have the complete scores from the Northview tournament yesterday??

patrick said:

Fan, what i meant was that the Brahmas beating Covina 1-0 then having such a close game against Walnut(eventhough i figured they would beat walnut anyways)....Ive heard all this talk about how GOOD Covina was as if they were untouchable >> hence they're number 2 or 3 in the rankings...However dont underestimate my confidence in Diamond Bar (after all it is my Alma Mater)

fan said:

Is it a surpise Diamond Bar beat Walnut and Covina? If it is Diamond Bar needs to hang up their cleats!

patrick said:

Wow..1-0 over Covina then 5-4 over Walnut. That should surely give the board something to talk about...LoL

DB Fan said:

According to someone at baseball resoure the brahmas won 2 today beating Covina 1-0 and Walnut 5-4.

patrick said:

Randy, wassup buddy? Well yes they do seem to be coming around as of late.I do know that for them to continue to be successful they must hit the ball every week, because im not to sure about the pitching rotation as far as depth, nonetheless they are getting it done as of now.
Went to watch the girls play over at the school against Cajon. They split a double header. Waiting on results from Northview tourney??

randy said:

Pat the Rat, how you doin'? It's good to see you keeping a tab on the Brahmas.....they are playing pretty damn well right now....hope they continue this into the NV tournament!

Come on Fred, how come there's no thread about Nico Caldero throwing a perfect game for the Bearcats. This is a HUGE ACCOMPLISHMENT especially since it came against an undefeated D Ranch team (in league). Congratulations Nico!

All I can say for you "Jokes" is D5

Laughable..........

leftfield said:

NVFan,

How did you come to this conclusion about Amat stats?

Amat's top three players are doing what they should be doing. There are only three names on the list above. If you look at MaxPreps the rest of the team is doing just average at the plate. So I am not sure where you are getting your information

dodger34 said:

NVFAN:
why are you bashing bisop amat? you finally beat them and you think y the vikes are a dynasty all of a sudden. nv would do no where as good as the lancers have against the top caliber teams they have faced. if you think about it, you should have lost the san dimas and covina games, and struggled against bp. yes bp, a team that has only 1 win so far. you will not win a title this year, and you better hope that amat and nv are put in the same division next year.

The All Important Stats

Regan and Coach Chippy need to "step up" and do their job. Stay out the bars for one night and get the stats done...

Drosell deservers and the reconciliation and is having a great season!

NVfan said:

as a compliment to Nieto, he backs his players and he tries to help them to the next level, however in the process of doing this i am sure he converts questionable calls into base hits.
Bishop has an good team, weak outfielders but if you look at the stats you would think this team is top in the state.

Boy Damien is ripping the ball!

Danny P. is having one hell of a year.

Wonder what he would do if he was a baseball player full time. Hard to believe a kid that size can blast like he does but he does blast!

Best of luck Danny!

The All Important Stats said:

Fred Robledo and fellow bloggers,

Its not Freds fault and its not like stats are all important but consider this one, Chris Drossel has pitched over 30 innings and has a ERA of 1.0 or less with his last two outings. Becuase his coaches do not update stats he is left out of the top pitching spot. Does that matter at this point?

RICK VAUGHN said:

I have no team. i just know how to read. De lafuente, drossel and pill didnt get there stats posted so just relax. im sure they have some very nice numbers as well. all i asked was Did you read the article on northview that fred wrote? no need to get your panies in bunch you might hurt yourself!

You voted on it. said:

Ricky V. that's why you should post your team stats. It was voted on so you cannot come in now and piece meal your stats when a AMAT GUY IS ON TOP.

RICK VAUGHN said:

Hey Ed,

Did you read the article on northview that fred wrote? Andrade "He's 4-0 with three saves and a 1.09 ERA. He's also struck out 23 batters in 20 innings" im sure elias has number similar if not better.

Ed said:

Once again Amat leads in hitting and pitching!
