Hey upper echelon, chew on this information: well, considering that I picked C Hills, Damien, and Ayala to be the 3 representatives from the Sierra league, let's look at those 3 schools baseball playoffs records in recent history. C. Hills has NEVER won a playoff game in their 6 yr history and have only made the playoffs this yr and last. Damien has one playoff win since 2000. And Ayala has zero playoff wins since I believe 1998. Now lets say Im wrong and Glendora makes the playoffs (zero playoff wins since 2003, or D Bar ( a couple mini-runs over past 5 yrs), and finally Chino (a couple legitimate playoff runs in the past few yrs) So if you want a run, it might be best to look at Chino or D. Bar to provide that and I dont have either team making it!

Chino Hills wins both this week against Chino to clinch the league. Damien splits with Glendora to earn another spot. Ayala sweeps DBar to gain the last spot. A lot of parity in this league. Prdiction: ALL go down in first round of playoffs!

damn... i didnt see this coming at all!!!!!!!! said:

My predictions for this week.....

Chino Hills- i say they finish second because i dont see them finishing this week y sweeping Chino

Damien- could finish first or second depending on which team comes to play this week. This team is capable of doing some good things

Chino- They will finish third or fourth. Glendora will be fighting them for the third spot this week.

Glendora- Big test this week

Ayala- who would have thought. The bulldogs are the reason that everyone in this league is still in the race. This team may make the playoffs.

Diamond Bar- an underrated and dangerous team just like Ayala.

1. Chino Hills- i think they will get the tiebreaker for first.
2. Damien- Its going to be though to sweep Glendora this week.
3. Chino-needs to win two to secure their spot.
4. Glendora- tough test this week....all i got to say.
5. Diamond Bar-they end the season after showing some spark.
6. Ayala- finishes 6th after losing the last two games.

DAAAAAMMMNNN i couldnt see this coming!!!!!!! said:

This is the first year Chino Hills has led the Sierra League. Jonathan Montoya has 5 of the 8 wins. Travis Mosler and Matt Lowenstein share the other 3W.
The offense is led by Zach Collier who is being highly recruited by 28 MLB teams. It reminds the team of when 2 yrs ago, Chris Parmelee (MN-Twins)was scouted by numerous MLB teams. Other contributing hitters on the team include: Chris Sulcer, Phil Holinsworth, Matt Lowenstein, Kenny Langwasser, Chris Carlson and Ray Romero.

Typical Henley coached team. The bright side I guess is they have two stud sophomore arms this year and at least they're in the hunt this season after being buried at or near the bottom the last 3 years.

Well Diamond Bar could bank its hopes on Damien and Glendora.

Should be very interesting!

What's going on with Glendora? One of Fred's top ranked teams seems to be tanking down the stretch.
