CIF-SS Division IV championship
Final: Ocean View 8, Bishop Amat 3

Bishop Amat High School senior pitcher Amy Lwin didn't have to explain how painful it was, it was painfully obvious. The Lancers were six outs away from something special when something disastrous happened.
Ocean View High School rallied with eight runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to turn a two-run deficit into an 8-3 victory in Saturday's CIF-Southern Section Division IV championship at Deanna Manning Stadium in Irvine. After CIF championship losses in 1993 and '94, the Lancers were hoping to win the school's first softball title, but that will have to come another day after the Lancers finished the season 22-9.
"It hurts," Lancers coach Walt Martin said. "But we've got a tough bunch of girls and they'll get over it."
After allowing just four hits through five innings and getting out of a tough jam in the fifth, Lwin couldn't handle Sara Craig's bouncer back to the mound to start the sixth, putting the Seahawks' lead runner aboard. Nichole Adams followed with a single to right, then Brenna Klein singled to center, scoring Adams to cut the Lancers' lead to 2-1.
With runners on first and second, Holli Floetker hit what appeared to be a double-play ball right at third, but that was mishandled for an error to load the bases.
Brandice Cutspec made them pay, hitting a grand slam to center for a 5-2 lead, and they added three more runs after Lwin left the game.
"To lose it like that hurts, it hurts a lot," Lwin said. "Especially when you're the pitcher who gives up a grand slam. That just took the wind right out of me."

I don't get you're point. Are you upset at the parents because their girls lost the game, or are you upset at the parents because they did not cheer on their team after falling behind?

I mean if you win, of course you are happy and you should celebrate. And if you lose you should be gracious enough to congratulate the other team. That’s the way it should be right?

Now, I was not at the game. I take it that you were because that's why you seem to know how the parents reacted to the fact that they were going to lose the game. Am I right? Or is it something else?

Perhaps you are just happy because an Amat team lost and you are gloating here?
I mean are you sure you want to go this route ? Hum....

You know, I wonder how far you're team got this year. Only two teams make it on any given time you know.

I don't know how you're school did. Care to give us a little bit of inside info here big guy?

The parents at you're school, are they any different? I mean I don’t hear anything from them? Care to tell us why? If not, then why not?

Come on, we all know you're a loser so I know you wont say anything about you're schools record. So why don’t' you just go away and gloat in some dark little corner.

finally the players and the parents of the cocky amat softball team can feel the pain. when things are going good, they love to talk....when the grand slam was hit, the parents and players didn't know what to do. it's a shame the team could not have been supported the same when they were down. even the last inning, the parents and fans, when teams that are down, usually stand and cheer until the final out. not the amat parents.. i've said it before and i'll say it again...front runners like no others.
