Softball: Tartans' dream comes to an end
UPDATES
Bad News: El Modena 5, Glendora 0 in the first. Tartans give up two home runs.
2nd UpdateThe Tartans score a couple runs, but give up two more, trailing 7-2 after two innings.
3rd update: My man John Honell tells me the Tartans settled down after the first, but still trail 7-3 in the fourth inning.
4th update: It's getting worse folks, Tartans trail 9-3 in bottom of the fifth.
5th update: The dream ends as El Modena scores a 12-4 victory. Still, it was a good ride for the Tartans.
What: CIF-SS Division II championship
Where: Deanna Manning Stadium, Irvine
Who: Glendora (19-9) vs. El Modena (25-8-2)
When: 6:30 p.m.

Congrats Reese and the rest of the tartans. I was fortunate to watch quite a few of these girls grow up playing ASA and Rec ball in Glendora. It shows that good coaching can overcome even if you do not have the greatest of talent, Bonita are you watching ?
