Kimo Mateo Interview

Mr. Mendoza, you appear to be an example of the educational giant, known as the Pomona Unified School District, I'd be interested if you ride the short bus to Garey HS. Good luck at Taco Bell or the car wash, say hi to me when I drop in, will you.

Hello,
Well im louis Mendoza, middle blocker middle hitter for the garey vikings. an thats a super bad choice by picking him as the best player. wow that so pathetic because, they got super killed by Diamond Ranch high at Diamond ranch, an plus we murder the at our house the Viking house. not just that i was on his hitting game all day when we played the, i blocked him about lets say all game. that is just dumb an pathetic on the way u guys pick player. actually, his team member dont know his name but #21 on los altos teams was hella better than this dude. An yes, i was one of the 1st team all league players out of 4 we had.
next time make a better choice something worth it.

GareyTeach, Garey is not considered a school in our coverage area. Neither is Pomona or Pomona Catholic. I know it doesn't make a lot of sense since we cover Diamond Ranch, and Cal Poly Pomona, but it's been that way for a while.

Steve,
You gotta relax in these interviews bro. You almost had a couple blow outs during that interview. I was waiting for the Jim Rome buzzer to cut in and run you...BAAAAHHHHH! Take a breath and chill.

Fred, Garey HS in Pomona is also in the Miramonte league, why are they not included in the all-area selections. Garey took 1st in league, has the Co-MVP (Chris Norg), has four 1st team, four 2nd team, and three honorable mention all-league selections. Garey is only 2 miles away from DR, why is DR included and not Garey, Fred please give me some insight?

First don't critizise volleyball if you've never played at a competative level. Fred, Garey HS in Pomona is also in the Miramonte league, why are they not considered in the all-area selections? Garey took 1st place in league, had the the co-MVP (Chris Norg), Had 4 1st team, 4 2nd team, and 3 honorable mention all league selections. I think we have the coach of the year. Fred please give me some insight, since DR is also in Pomona (only 2 mi. from Garey).
