Your place is valueble for me and my seotons. Thanks!…
I found your entry interesting do I’ve added a Trackback to it on my weblog :)……
I’d be inclined to acknowledge with you on this. Which is not something I usually do! I enjoy reading a post that will make people think. Also, thanks for allowing me to comment!
LA ARMY STRONG FIESTA BOWL!!
CIF vs. City Section.
Big game held at L.A. Wilson H.S. 6/28 @ 4PM
Practices 6pm @ San Gabriel H.S. M,T,Th,Fri... Come check out the studs...
I believe McBride is going to Mt. Sac, and will play football.
There are a couple of other Sierra League players playing in the game. The QB from Ayala, Division 1AA Signee, and Ayala's inside LB.
There is more than one player representing the Sierra League. The QB from Ayala, Div 1AA signee, and the LB from Ayala are both playing in the game. It is my understanding that the Ayala QB was asked to play in the Inland Empire All Star Game, but he wanted to play with his fellow teamate and others from the Sierra League.
Spartan, I didn't mean to infer anything but support for those players....all of who are outsanding young men. Last year I said that Schmiity was the hardest working BIG MAN I'd ever seen...day in and day out. Still believe he should have been a Division 1 signee IF he hadn't lost the weight but he's well liked and that speaks to him. Danny is just the nicest kid you could ever ask to meet. I hink he was the best center in the Sierra League and should have made ALL CIF if he'd started their all year but that's the past. As far as Danny goes, it a credit to him that he played QB all year in spite of the fact that he's a far better BB player than FBer. What about Simmons, Dominguez and Koprocina?
Schmitz is walking on at fresno state and can't play in it, Gallardo is playing at Humboldt state and cant play. danny got payed that much and he is in the gulf coast league right now training for their first game in the next few days
the sh boys should do fine in the game, their used to playing with competition
Damien doesnt have players on the team why?
Thatt's typical Damien spin. What about Smitty? 6'6" 330 lbs? No college offers? What about Dominguez? Played better than last year's LB and he went. What about Simmons? Great year, solid player? What about Danny Gallardo? 6'2" 320 center? That's huge for a center and he had a great League season. Why not him? How about Kopricina? There is always a need for corners? This doesn't make ANT FREAKIN sense...the Sierra League complains about recogniion and only 1 player from the league show up? Disgusting. Hope Edwards has a big game and represents the Sierra well.
Danny Pertusati
13th round pick doesn't get you 150K, or 100K.
Better check the wire on this.
Damien has no guys in this game because John Rabe is on scholorship at Nevada, Ryan McMahon is training with USC for his walk on and Danny Pertusati signed for between $100,000-$150,000 to play baseball with the Marlins
jcaz,
i did some research, looks like Wells is heading to Villanova. take a look http://www.philly.com/dailynews/sports/20080206_Villanova_-_For_Johnson__choosing_Nova_a_snap_decision.html
Was Vega a shitzu talker????
I find that hard to believe although he did average 80 yards a game in that run oriented offense. Not alot to talk about but then again Glendora football wasn't used to winning until Mike the Clown showed them how. Da feet boys...remember da feet. See that scared the boys the first couple of years when they thought Mike was saying..."Remember da' feat boys!!!...REMEMBER DA' FEAT!!!"
VEGA to Cal Poly Pomona??? All that sh*t he talked on the field during games and that load is going to a school with NO football program? You must have meant Cal Poly SLO? Figures he'll go star in the intra-mural leagues at CPP though! Had it been that long since Glendora made any noise in FB? Wow, thats weak. Flash in the pan baby!
What ever happened to Wells and McBride ? How come they are not on all star rosters for this game, and what schools if any, did they ultimatly end up at, for college ball ?
Spoiled Tarter sause
as true as that may be...They finished better than most. and better then they had sence 89..But for people that love to hate nothing less than perfect is ever good enough. I hear Vega is going to Cal Poly Pomona.
"4 players from West Covina!!! Great job Bulldogs."
You forgot one.
Tanner Zylstra, Bonita, TE. You should have seen his Father Dave, and Uncle Doug at Edgewood H.S. in the late 70's early 80's.
Well, they "Finished" poorly! Didn't they get shallacked in the playoffs? Where did Vega wind up going? Anywhere?
To missing lancers
"FINISH IT"
Yes it did make the year book, and Vince Lombardy thought it up, but a Tartan DAD put it on a banner to remind the boy's NO matter what the situation is. FINISH what you start.
I am going to play in The L.A. Army Strong Fiesta Bowl. As a QB. The game is sponsored by the Army. It's going to be held at L.A. Wilson High School, Saturday, June 28th, 2008 @ 4pm. It's L.A. City Section vs. Southern Section. Pretty BIG game. Thanks for bringing me up though.
GO KNIGHTS GO!!!!
Brian Partida
missing lancers,
Dominique isnt playing because he already left to U of A this past saturday. Also keep his family in your prayers because he lost his grandfather last week.
the kids that aint there did not show up to the meeting or dropped out i kno bronze withem dropped out cause he is gonna go see his dad in FL
What Happened to Dominique Austin and Stephen Ochoa of Bishop Amat? Austin I could see not wanting to get hurt or being committed to Arizona and it is not allowed but Ochoa? why not him.
Wait what happened to that awesome senior class from Glendora? Is Edwards the only one who felt "safe" enough to go to practices?
You guys have got to be kidding. Don't tell me Citrus and Chaffey didn't allow them to play. Too bad I would have really like to see a couple of my favorite players lock horns with a team of ALL STARS. That would have been fun. No offense but I think the glendora players would have done exceptionally well agaiinst the West.
Either way it would have been funny to see that stupid "FINISH IT!!" sign one last time!!!!! lol
That was classic! WHO THOUGHT OF THAT????? PRICELESS!!!! One quick question...did it make the year book? Someone post that picture....I'ld like it for my screensaver...that will put a smile on my face to start my day. :-)
Ben Counce is from CO not Azusa. Surprised not to see Drew Carreon on the roster.
Why the hell are guys from Chino, Cal and Sonora on this list? I thought this was a SAN GABRIEL VALLEY all-star game? None of those schools are in the SGV. I wanna see some of our guys playing in the Inland Empire all-star game.
4 players from West Covina!!! Great job Bulldogs.
How about no Brian Partida from Arroyo on the West Squad...heard he just didn't want to play.
hey fred no andrew romero from wilson?
im shocked!
Good Luck La Puente Warriors! We're all very proud of your accomplishments.
