Congrats to all the Graduates: Jessica Becerra shares a kiss with Baldwin Park football player Ralph Inocentes during Baldwin Park's graduation ceremony.

Stat of the day: In case you're wondering how this blog does, we average from 3,500 to 5,000 hits most days. We had nearly 7,000 hits when we live-blogged the Northview-Diamond Ranch championship game. It's the most-viewed high school blog of all our newspapers, which includes the Daily News, Press Telegram, Daily Breeze, San Bernardino Sun, Ontario Bulletin, Star-News and Whittier Daily News. It's all because of you. What's amazing is that the huge sports blogs in our newsgroup, Scott's Wolff's USC blog and Brian Dohn's UCLA blog, average about 8-10,000 hits right now. All those numbers should rise during football season. In any case, we're not far behind considering they're more of a Southern California and National Blog, compared to our little hidden treasure in the SGV. If you have ideas on how we can improve our hit-counts, I'm always listening.

fred these amat fans shouldn't shock you. This is why i keep telling people dont send your kids to amat you might wind up like these people on the blog.

Some of you Amat fans are really annoying. Is it really that hard to be humble. The cockiness is amazing considering the football team hasn't done anything this decade.

be more humble said:

be thankful for cocky fans? baaa haaa yes i did say grace and i prayed that amat fans would learn to be more humble.

The Truth hurt said:

Take away Amat and you would have 2 hits a day. So be grateful and thankful that Amat represents the SGV.

Have you said grace lately?

this blog would be more enjoyable without the cockyness of amat fans

Fred, I released All CIF D IV softball earlier this week. I sent them to the Trib, as well as other area newspapers. Let me know if you need them and others and I can get them to you Monday.

Volleyball Summmer League starts soon! St. Lucy's has a new coach as does Bonita. No one really losing powerhouse impact players-but heard the incoming freshman classes around the sgv have been playing for a while.

Maybe you could ask a few coaches in the valley to type few words on this blog about their teams, expectations, etc.

FredJ said:

They haven't posted the softball teams anywhere, I'm trying to track them down. I hate that CIF doesn't handle this anymore.

cat said:

Fred please post all cif softball teams
