There are good HS baseball players and then there are great HS players. Tyler B. ranks as a good one but not one that is gifted and plays the next level like a Reyes, Fox or De la Fuente. Good Pony / Travel HS player is Buffington but yes his weight has always been a issue. Looks trim in some of the pictures but I am sure he is not a 5 point player. JC will be a good start if he wants to continue to play for the recreation of it all. Future is not in baseball but he will go somewhere I hear he is a above avg. student.
not to be mean but how is someone at the most 5'9 and with buffington's build going to play ball. there is no way he makin a name outside of high school because he has no defensive range or speed. He'll be lucky to have success in a JC level.
I can't believe some of the things that you people write, were you raised by wolves to pick at a 17 year old who just does what he is told and only thinks about what is best for his team. As for not staying for the trophy presenttation I would say that is the coaches fault but what can you expect from someone who went to baldwin park!!! way to go Tyler dont worry about what all these negative people have to say Im sure they were never good enough to get an award like that so be proud and play ball!!!!!!!!!!
DLF did not play enogh games, Tyler was the most consistent player both on mound and plate.
Give tthe kid a brake
HR Buff an stuff and So. Hills are and will rememered as loser for the loss at Dodger Stadium and even bigger losers for being poor sports and leaving the trophy presentations.
Where ever he may go or become, Your still here and stuck in that shallow, lonely, and miserable dead end you call a life, you see your known as what we call an also ran......
Where is Buffy the vampire slayer going to college to play ball? I did not recognize him signing any letters of intent. Buff the wood is only a good HS player.
Stop being a jealous little baby your kid or friend did'nt get the nod what is he still on the jv or wait probably on the frosh. Always a hater, must have got picked on by the big boys when you were a kid huh' that goes to show you how good south hills is any number of players could have been picked but Buffington did it in the circle, on defense and with the bat. Oh yea and where ever else the pequin called upon him. Grow up and crawl back under that little rock you call a home. How many times have you been rocked 100 or sooooooooooo the numbers speak for themselves. Idiot'
Ur seriously tellin us buffington got mvp over christian ibarra, delafuente and roddy. wow whoever voted on this musta head their heads up their u kno wat!
You got to kidding me...that's a shame. Buffington? Unbelievable! How much did the decision makers get paid off for that one. That is really a crime. There is no way!! I feel for good players in the league. that must be some weak league. You got to be kidding. Fred, tell me its not true and this was a joke post...Please!
Yeahhhhh CODY!!!
Tyler "in the buff" ing-ton MVP? That is the best player the San Antonio can come up with.? I think their is a arguement for DLF So. Hills , Delia of Walnut and Byrne from Rowland. I watched a few game where Buff this got rocked.
