Football: Sermons to UCLA?

I'm hearing that UCLA has offered Diamond Ranch cornerback Brandon Sermons. The brother of former Bishop Amat and USC standout Rodney Sermons is a hot commodity, however. Several Pac-10 schools are after him so it will be interesting to see how this turns out.

Big Question is... will D-Ranch beat Bishop Amat this year with all that supposed talent playing over at the Dia.Ranch right now.?

It sounds like you're a parent who's kind of bitter...probably didn't get your son played to much now you have your pannies in a bunch! Stop worrying about DR and start paying attention to your kid and maybe he'll have a chance at being successful...I don't always agree with the coaches and we don't see eye to eye but they're actually receiving a quality education and better coaching then they ever received! Props to the DR coaches and much success to the program and the players that work so HARD!

drblue,

I noticed your concern about "good attitude", based on all these kids missing the 7 on 7 looks like your team is heading in the wrong direction, again. Great athletics poor coaching equals a team with Bad Attitude. I see DR making the payoffs losses to a well coached team. A team is a reflection of their coaches.

At the Claremont tourny DR was missing 7 starters for various reasons. Also at the San Bernardino tourny they were missing 3 starters, but the boys still went out there and competed. With everyone healthy and a good attitude, this team should be pretty darn good.

Congrats to Brandon Sermons. He deserves the attention and the offers. So much for people slamming the parents for sacrificing a "great" Amat education. He's getting a free one at the D1 level.

You're talking about a DR Team without all of it's players present...you're also talking about a DR Team that placed 3rd in the Fontana Tourney and like 5th in the San Diego State tourney...don't hate...especially if you don't know what you're talking about....

dr rockinthehouse,

If they have all that, where were they at the Claremont Passing League on the 2nd day with the top sixteen teams? Sounds like some work still needs to be done with the skills teams.

DR Rocketinthehouse,
If all that is true, it sounds like D.Ranch should have an exciting year,& could be one of the favorites in the Southeast
Division.

Fred,
I believe DR has Five guys with D1 offers. Brandon Sermons DB/WR ,Xavier Williams TE,Kyle lengyel LB,Graham Vickers OL/DL and Brian Spirlin RB.I'm not sure but I think Brian Bonilla has been offered as well. Any news on these guys fred. As long as these guys stay healthy with their scedule DR should have a pretty good year.
