An open discussion, whoever and whatever you wanna talk about. I'm back for a week, so tell me what's happening? All I've been hearing is how South Hills has been tearing up the summer passing leagues, but how about everyone else? Who looks like the big winners and losers?

Something for the South Hills Cameron Crazies

clean hit, you crack me up, why are you so emotional? feeling guilty about all the knee diving? what football powerhouse did you play at? are you gonna do a al bundy on us? "i scored 3 touchdowns for polk high" very funny

Playallday, first off EVERY game means something. Furthermore THAT game prepared Glendora for the beat down they gave DHS in THEIR emotional game. The HARDHITTING that CO gave to Glendora PREPARED them for beating Upland , who they SHOULD have LOST to given Upland talent a nd coaching.
Take a clue from the big dogs and see why it's NECESSRY to play against TOUGHER, BIGGER & BETTER teams....it MAKES YOU BETTER PREPARED FOR THE "ROUGH TIMES".
PLAYALL DAY????...you SURE you "PLAYED" ????

Playallday,
I love when I see smack talk like yours, I hope the
Glendora football team lumps WC in that same lot also. See you in week 4.

Passing league @ South Hills today vs. Northview. Looked like Nview got the best of S.H. today, got a little under the skin of some of the S.H. players and it showed. Looks like in going to be a good game week 4

Hate to tell you, but passing league games dont mean sqaut.
Dont get to high on games with no pads..
Glendora didnt renew because Pasky couldn't take the loss or the emotion. But isn't that football? Someone wins and someone losses and the emotion is a big part of any football game.
Pasky needs to step up and accept his BS reasoning for stepping aside from a great tradtion.

i think pasky didnt care for the kids acting like this was the game of the year, after all in the big picture, the game means nothing, and to play a bruising game like that right before league starts just doesnt make sense, i think hes right, although the preseason schedule this year is very tough, it should set them up for league play, all the trash talking and hard hits aside, the co game was way too emotional to play right before league

clean hit,
i wasnt making an excuse i was just throwing out my point of view that i think coach p didnt want to see his kids get hurt in a preseason game. maybe its a reason, maybe its not, we will never know. i agree there is nothing that says you cant dive at the knees to make a tackle, but if thats the only way you are tackling then there is something wrong. i know some coaches who would take out kids for doing that, not just because you can injure the other player, but also yourself. he didnt get "smoked" as you say. watch the tape again the kid just dove at his knee. thats no talent at all. my dog could dive at my knees and take me out. this hit caused a torn mcl and acl and a broken kneecap which required surgery. this kid was having a breakout game too. scored the only touchdown for glendora. i believe coach p didnt want to see another one of his kids go down so early in the season. yes in football anyone can get hurt at anytime but charter oak was diving at glendoras legs all night and sooner or later(which it did) a kid gets hurt. and as to you saying that it was all glendorians talking this and that. i believe both parties are to blame. i believe both teams will have outstanding years. best of luck to both.

hey marquez, your right, my bad, i was thinking of the day when they whipped up on seirra vista, san dimas, and san marino, i just lump wc in that same lot, ghs will take care of wc in the real season.

No more mayors trophy?
What exactly happened to the kid other than he played football and got hurt like so many others who carry the ball. It wasn't a chop block or a crack back or anything else illegal. In fact he just got smoked. Part of the game, an umfortunate part for sure but a part none the less. Stop with the excuses and belly aching.
By the way did he even have surgery to this destroyed knee? What was the damage?
I stopped this so called innovcent kid in the DHS parking lot when he was cruising with DHS SUCKS on his window and his Glendora jersey on after a DHS loss. Why was he doing that? He said he was looking for his girlfriend. But after I mentioned the writing on the back window and his jersey AND his cruisng he parking lot several times he left....apparently WITHOUT his girlfriend. By the by...isn't THAT why the make CELL PHONES???
Coach P moved on for his own reasons. The kid and the GREAT HIT had nothing to do with it. MAYBE it was just the way GLENDORIANS were coming across that he wished to avoid. GHS and COHS was getting pretty racial with the BAJA GLENDORA comments and the other less savory asides.
Best of luck to GHS...they are awesome this year, HUGE Coach P fan and hope that kid was like any other...just a knuckhead for one night and healed up right.
As far as the Major's Trophy maybe Bonita take you on or how about El Dorado with a SGV/OC trophy? Either way hope this finishes the stupid comments. Aram put up the video....IT WAS A GREAT CLEAN HIT. Too bad about the knee though.

i'm sure the main reason behind glendora not playing charter oak has something to do with a senior getting injured very badly before league starts

hEY JD YOU SHOULD REMEMBER IT IS ghs COACHS WHO BACKED OUT OF co, ghs GAMES, PERHAPS IN THE FUTURE THEY WILL MAN UP AND SEE bAJA RULE.

Hey playallday; GHS demolished West Covina in a passing league? When did they play? You may want to re-check your facts or memory.

I admit you guy's worked us last year, but you only won by a whole 3 points homes worth at least seven. We look forward to seeing you & that chicken shxt playing team in the playoffs, if you make it. Tell them all to ware knee braces!!!!!

how about that GHS line? finished 2nd in the lineman competition saturday at santa fe
Posted by: ghs line | July 14, 2008 3:33 PM
GHS HAS ONLY LOST 4 PASSING LG. GAMES ALL SUMMER, THEY BEAT VALENCIA, SPLIT WITH AB MILLER IN 2 CLOSE GAMES, DEMOLISHED LA,COVINA,WEST COVINA, MONROVIA, ONLY LOST TO NARBONE IN SANTA FE, GRANTED ITS NOT THE SAME AS REAL FOOTBALL, BUT IT SHOWS OUR RECIEVERS ARE REALLY GOOD AND THE QBS PUT THE BALL ON THE MONEY, THEY BEAT SEVERAL OTHER QUALITY TEAMS. LOOK OUT THIS YEAR, 7 TO 9 WINS? MAYBE

It's obvious your team has been stinking up any of the passing league's.You can't even mention a city or team.Come on must stand for charter oak AKA Baja Glendora.
Posted by: JD | July 14, 2008 10:10 AM
You judge teams on real play not passing leagues.

Hey,Fred time to re-think the falling down article. Glendora went undeafeated then lost in the semi final in the 7 on 7 at Santa Fe, the linemen came in second. Look at the whittier newspaper to see the line-up of schools they had to face. It looks like back to back CHAMPS!
