Don't believe anything that UCLA does is legitimate, that had a pitcher a few years ago from Australia, who was on a full ride for Volleyball!! they caught , eventually and all they got was a slap on the wrist, Enquist did't have the stones to take the wrap, she made an underling take the hit, a lot of class from UCLA..........3rd class.......lmfao

Show me the rule that specifically states a College Coach cannot talk to a potential recruit before there junior year of high school.
The college coach is not allowed to write (e-mail) or call a potential recruit. But the potential recruit is allowed to call the coaches office, visit the campus and e-mail the program all they want at their expense.
Take a few mintues and read pages 28 thru 30 of the handbook prepared by the NCAA.

Sounds like the head coach passing his number to the travel coach is a way around the NCAA rules don't ya think??

Here is the 2007-2008 College Bound Student Athlete Handbook produced by the NCAA.
http://www.ncaa.org/library/general/cbsa/2007-08/2007-08_cbsa.pdf
College coaches can talk to prospective student athletes prior to their junior year in high school, although they cannot initiate the contact.
There are rules about when and where the contact is made (see handbook for details).
In most (legit) cases a college coach passes their phone number to the athlete using the travel/club coach as an intermediary. This can be done via an e-mail or conversation with the athletes travel/club coach. The college coach is hoping that the athlete will initiate the contact.
This handbook has some very good information.

Patrick,
According to the article, she "has given verbal agreement to attend UCLA in 2011." This to me sounds like she has been talking to someone from UCLA...

My friend its called scouting videos and club scouting.Scouts can watch but not talk! You gotta remember, they already knew about her older sister Britany so in a sense they already know what they are getting.
