Who are the big bad boys on the East Side?

I'll have to follow up on the Wilson coaching situation when I get back to work on Wednesday because that last thread is blowing up. In the meantime, I'd like to continue with our area's top ten best of the best. We've already done quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers, so start thinking of the men in the trenches. "Hell Week" is just a couple weeks away so start nominating the best lineman on both sides. As always, these are the toughest positions to nail down, so feel free to share your thoughts on those you have knowledge of.

duarte beat monrovia and blair. but there was no lineman are pads. Im not worried but we have some nice football players.

duarte played south el monte in a passing league game. it was not even close. this list means nothing. i promise duarte has a group of special players. cant wait for the season to start.

SO WHERES THE TOP 10 LIST

I luv CID at Dub "C",
CID + VICIOUS = CIDVICIOUS

plus he has a great smile!

Go Bulldogs!!

Chima Ike is a great defensive tackle from Walnut, he is an athlete...He also played a little LB at times, because he was athletic enough. He is undersized but makes it up on the field and in the weight room.

Chase Sippel- Damien

If this kid is that good Y the hell was he on JV?

I know a kid who had 50 TD's on JV.. Who Cares its JV!

Two players: TYLER PERRI, EVAN WILLIAMS. no SGV line men compares to there skill of the game athletic wise and talent wise! thats not ALL charter oak has its a scary pre season for them! enough about charter oak fred new FOOTBALL topics

OutsideObserver

You can add Doll and whoever else you want..

More the better..

But it doesn't matter who's the best, all that matters is the WIN on Friday night.

Those numbers are way off GO SD. They are good players though. YOu are 10 to 20 lbs over on your weights. The best SD lineman is Ryan Doll. He has been a 2 way starter going in his 3rd year. An all league player both Sophomore and Junior year. Smith and Salm only play offense and Sandoval only plays D and is unproven. Randy Hoskins might be the sleeper of the group. Very athletic. We will see about his toughness.

Chase sippel- 272 6'2.. 50 pancakes as a soph.. Took Junior year at DLINE..
Smartest kid I've met. He has a 4.33 I believe. Runs a 4.4 shuttle and 5.2 fourty. Benched 315, squated 500, and cleaned 315 with a broken bone in his arm.

Jake Salter- first team all league. Amazing instincts 6'3 270
Will remain an unmoveable force. He almost had an INT against Charter oak playing at Noseguard

Albert Cid from West Covina probably won't get any letters from D1 schools because he is openly gay. In my opinion he shouldn't be judged but he will be.

!!!FEAR THE 'MEAD!!! !!!WAR PANTHERS!!!

DEFENSIVE LINEMAN CHIMA IKE IS HEAVILY SLEPT ON FROM WALNUT, HE PUTS UP NUMBERS AGAINST QUALITY TEAMS LIKE SOUTH HILLS, AND WEST COVINA... HE IS ALSO GETTING SOME LOOKS FROM D-1AA AND D-2 SCHOOLS

FRED, CHIMA IKE from Walnut is a great Lineman to have on this list!!!

He played defensive Lineman(62 tackles, 2 sacks, 2FF) last year, and garnered All-San Antonio League Honors on a struggling Walnut Team.

He will be a Senior this year, and will take the San-Antonioo by storm. He plays just as good as Barrios or even better, he just plays at a rebuilding school.

He stands at 5'10 and weighs 235... He is also a strong kid( 315 Bench Press, 495 Squat, and 270 clean)

South Hills has Ty Olsen who is a solid o-linemen and Alex Barrios who on the defensive side of the ball absolutely destroys kids.

Cody Tescher out of Glendora..Major beast...Smart kid...Head on straight..

West Covina will have some good linemen this year. Albert Cid, Richard Tejeda, and Jesse Madrid are some names that come to mind but there are others as well.

Charter oak is a really solid team, but jus imagine them going against the best team in the valley Bishop Amat that would get pretty ugly

Charter Oaks Bookends Tyler Perri Evan Williams= animals!

Fred:

Here's some All-Leaguers that will bring it this year for the Saints.

Kyle Salm Tackle 6'6'' 295

Garett Smith Tackle 6'4" 255

Kyle Withem TE 6' 205

A newcomer of A BEAST: Center Mychal Sandoval 6'3" 312

Lets rock and roll!

Albert Cid of West Covina High School is a very good two-way lineman.

well cody tescher glendora!
he is a beast and will be playing both sides!

Jake Salter.. he's the only first team from the Sierra League

Forgot to mention he's 6'2 272

Forgot to mention he's 6'2 272

CO returns a pair of 1st team miramonte, CIF SW Div linemen Tyler Perri 6'4 245 DE and Evan Williams 6'3 250 DE, called the BOOKENDS.These 3 yr Varsity player will haunt QBs. Should be fun to watch.

Chase Sippel- Damien.
This kid is something special. JV year he had 50 pancakes and did not allow one sack. His junior year he played defensive line but suffered injury. This kid should be a BEASt his senior year. He benched 315 his junior year, cleaned 300, and squated 500. He runs a 5.2 and 4.4 shuttle. Look out for this guy to make a HUGE impact.
