Shibley takes over at Diamond Bar
Diamond Bar athletic director J.T. Cameron has named former Cal State Dominguez standout Eric Shibley to become the fifth Brahmas baseball coach in school history. Shibley was an assistant varsity coach at Glendale and most recently was the Brahmas assistant the past three years under Gonzalez, who will remain at the school as a teacher.

Coach Shibley is a great choice. He cares about his team, we can talk to him like a grown man....Wow! what a change for the better. Full steam ahead Shibley! "Gonzo" who?

Hey DBfan, did you know our last game of league play decided if we went to C.I.F. or not? What a dumb comment compete in the Sierra league? Yes, we competed! You don't follow D.B. baseball!

Is this true? this is so typical of Coach "Gonzo" the players are the last to know, that's B.S. man.

YES, YES, YES! please say, it's true. "Gonzo" needs to go! he has lost the passion to coach. He should of left years ago."Gonzo" didn't want to be bothered by his players or their parents, D.B. needs a mature man to lead the team, not a washed up former athletic that was still dreaming of his glory days. Best news EVER!

Scroll down and Fred mentioned Eric Shibley is the new brahma baseball coach. Someone mentioned that Rich Gonzales will be a grade level coordinator.

I have been following DB baseball since the school opened and only remember 3 coaches.
1. Denis Paul the best baseball coach in the SGV with 3 cifss titles 2 at DBHS and one at Walnut.
2. Kent Neil former catcher from Redlands hs/SBVC
3. Rich Gonzales the first great athlete at DBHS winning cifss titles as a senior in baseball/football.

Randy, i hear the football team is working pretty hard and looking pretty upbeat. Have you seen or heard any scoop on them.? They seem to be flying under the radar.

JT's getting it done in hoops, they are competitive and play .500 ball in league that is no joke......ya gotta remember too, this is DB, not Mater Dei! He's doing a good job with what he's got! I hear Gonzo is trying to become a GLC, and wont have the time to coach---more power to him. Gonzo should be one of the first names you think of you when you remember how we kicked ass back in the day! I certainly wish the Brahmas flatbacked a few more teams but i know those kids are giving it everything they got! Your efforts still make us proud Brahmas!

Sorry to see coach Rich Gonzales step down as he did a good job as brahma head coach. He was rumored to retire several years ago. The talent level at DB is way down and hopefully the new coach can make the team compete in the sierra league. I was hoping JTC would hire a new basketball coach as the hoops team as underpreformed after Withers left.
