Silly me, I thought it was a 'simple' question...

The Wilson SAGA continues.

Nice try Wilson Parent, Gilmore along with two other kids got suspended from school for five days due to possible involvement with theif in the locker room. One kid got arrested, Gilmore and the other were just suspended pending investigation. This was the results of Hoyd's comments to the police and the walkout by the seniors at practice. Hoyd decided to turn his head to the walkout, and pertend it never happen. Once again what a great head coach. I don't know about you but I will be the first to nominate him for coach of the year. I am sure Fred would agree with this.

From what I have heard, Gilmore caught a pretty bad case of the stomach flu, he tried to make the game but ended up going home with a fever. Hopefully he will be able to play next week, we will have to see if he feels good enough to make it to practice

Briefly stopped by the Wilson Scrimmage yesterday and could not identify Gilmore and didn't see him on the sideline. Not flaming just asking, did he play or is he hurt? Or was he not there? Please just the facts and only "normal" people respond. I feel very sorry for some of your children.

Last night at dist field I watched North View scrimage Alhanbra. Yeah I know just a scrimage but all the indicators were there, o-line and d-line.
North view has a pretty good back with good vision. He'll need it to get through the small holes or lack of that the line is opening up. Robles either had a realy bad night or needs a lot of work. I would like to give props to the North View Cheer Coach. I applaude you for not judging a person by their height weight color of skin or size. You North View fans know what I'm talking about.

I'm looking forward to the Damien-Rancho game; not because of Damien's great receiver Taylor Herrera. Its there unknown linebacker/defensive back Nicholas Sale who is turning all the heads. I hadn't seen this kid play before until passing league and every coach was asking the same thing. "Where did this guy come from?" I honestly don't think the rest of the league is ready for this kid but we'll see Friday. I hope Robledo covers this kid because in four weeks it wouldn't surprise me if its Bowens vs. Sale on the cover of the paper

One consequence of deleting the WILSON Blog is they -THE UNRULY WILSON MOB- will now contaminate the remaining threads.

How can someone come on this blog and try and play the race card. Hoyd's record speaks for itself. In the last two weeks Hoyd has created more problems in the community than any other coach in the valley has all year. All these problems at Wilson are a reflection on the Head Coach, ultimately it is the head coach's responsibility to control his team. Hoyd is way over his head, and doesn't learn from his mistakes. I have already been assured by upper administration that this will be his first and last year at Wilson.

Not all but some, Yello,Black, Green, Brown white, is does not matter what color coach Hoyd is he simply is a bad Coach.

I say call in Obama or Oprah to solve this black issue because that is what it has become. The Mex. parents are slighted by color.

All I have to say is you have a new head coach at LA and you have a new head coach at Wilson.

We don't see kids walking off the field at LA.

We don't see the booster club president and vice president voted out of office by the head coaches clan at LA.

We don't see the youth football program having issues with the head coach at LA.

Fred closed the thread because we were questioning is ability to report Sports. If he thinks all is good after seeing one of worst practices in the Valley (wilson), Or he can not tell the difference.

I would think seniors walking out of practice as a show of unity against the head coach of a program is something that would be of interest.

After all that has been said on this blog about Hoyd, I question why you Fred continue to support him. As a reporter report the facts, good or bad. Yea I know you have 30 other schools to report on. A question how many of them had their seniors walk out of practice two days before the first game of the season.

That's a sorry excuse for pulling the Wilson blog. I have seen Kids battered on this blog at every level for no reason and you allow it to happen. If you are going to allow some to post then all should be able to post or don't have it at all. In our community, this blog has created numerous problems between team mates, neighbors and friends and you have allowed it all to happen for the sake of who knows what...

I don't know what's going on at Wilson 24-7, I've got 30 other schools to manage. It was getting ugly, extremely personal, so I pulled it. It was my call.

Well I never thought, well really I did think that Fred would bow down to the pressure from Wilson High School. Why did you remove the Hoyd thread. It wasn't going in the direction that Hoyd wanted it to go, so you remove it. Were any of these facts reported incorrectly. Did Hoyd's comments get one of his players arrested. Did all the seniors walk off the field and refuse to practice yesterday. Last time I check a reporter is suppose to report the good and the bad. Fred you make Hoyd look like an angel, but when you get to know the guy you find out that he is the devil.

What happened to the Wilson thread?

I heard something happened yesterday at there practice. Any truth to about the kids walking off the practice field.

Mater Dei defeated Carson last night in overtime.

It's a funny thing because if there was any game played on the Amat schedule last year where I felt we had a great chance of comming out on top,it would have been both at Alemany and Carson.

You know, Amat may lose a few games here and there, but they most certianly rank right up there with the better football programs in the southland.

This year should be better than last, and hopefully a key win against Los Osos on Friday will get the ball rolling.

Remember, the Guru said that they really like Amat in that game, so we shall see.
