Muema bracing himself for long haul

After rushing for 170 yards and a touchdown in Friday's 30-14 victory over Aliso Viejo, it's hard to believe that Charger Oak High's junior running back Adam Muema is battling a nagging groin injury that could last all season. That's why Farrar jokingly said the game ball should have gone to Erika McDonald, the team's trainer.
"She did a tremendous job getting Adam ready," Farrar said. "Adam was unable to get any burst of speed doing two-a-days, so we've been especially careful with him.
"(Erika) treats him twice a day, before and after practice. He has ice messages and electric stimulation and other special exercises. It's hard to tell how long these type of injuries last, but he didn't feel any worse or better the day after, but we have to be careful. We know that one wrong step and he can be back to square one. That's something we want to avoid."

CO folks shoud know that Adam is a player and his next game could be 200 yd game. Not much will slow him down. Looks like Charger D- Line is up to the task of keeping opposition out of red zone. L Bz are coming around and Dbacks learning Big Louz program. Things will only get better. Watch out Bonita and Dranch.
