actually NV and SD play in a weak league and thus weak division. To toell you the truth I see one of them going to their division final and maybe even winning a tittle.

That just goes to show that LA is in fact on a different level, hence weakest team in recent history losing two games by two plays to potenetial eventual league/division champs.

My point is that NV is a WEAK TEAM, GOING NO WHERE, WITH ZERO COACHING. LA is a weak team with GOOD COACHING going no where. So Northview FANS don't get all excited.

Maybe you should read the NV head coaches comments. I'm confident he knows his team better than you.You can give all the reasons about the state regarding la football, I've only watched them once this year and read/heard about their previous game. So NV has a weaker team than SD? what good does that do the la team? according to you it just shows they lost to two weak teams. Whats your point?

Yes LA does have a weak team this year; we are intelligent enough to figure that out. Our kids are going out their and doing their best, win or lose we are going to support them. You need to realize that NV also has a weak team this year. I understand you are attempting to support you coaching staff, but from what I have seen they are weak at best. Made no adjustments during the game, exposed a weakness and didn’t take advantage of it. What shocked me was our weakness is supposed to be your strength, and NV still didn’t take advantage of it. That is very poor coaching, sorry.

WHY DON'T YOU BOTH SHUT UP ARE COACHES ARE GREAT
AND FOR THE LA PARENT.. WHO IS THE TEAM THAT HAS LOST TWO GAMES AND YOU HAVE THE BALLS TO CALL US WEAK.

I will say this must from a LA perspective, Northview was a much weaker team than SD. SD has talent, needs to clean up the offense and defense but does have the talent to work with. Northview had an above average d-line. I was shocked to see how weak the Northview offense was, with all the hype about their offense. The coaching at Northview is extremely weak, exposed a blaring weakness in LA’s defense and didn’t take advantage of it. Based on the way Northview came out, they did a terrible job of scouting and the coaching made no adjustments after seeing the LA weakness.

Their offense is horrible. Throw it up and that's it. Coaches are worse. Have some class. I liked Arrellanes until I saw his antics, and his staff's, on the sidelines. Have some class coach.

For all brainless people talking crap about the Longoria kid. A bit of info most of you don't know anything about football. The game is played on offense, defense, and special teams. It's a team game so you can't put the loss on the QB. It all works hand in hand blocking, timing of the play and passing. Longoria did not get any of that!

Should McKehann had been pressured all night like Longoria it would of been hell for him too.

With an injury on his throwing arm/hand it would make it difficult for any QB to grip a ball and throw with accuracy. Longoria took himself out which was a smart decision because he gave his team the best chance of winning by putting in a healty QB.

WE HOPE HE GETS HEALTHY AND MAKES A COMEBACK BECAUSE HE IS THE "STARTING QB"

Of course how could we miss them, there was a big cloud hanging over them. You guys need to lay off the pot!!!!!

LA came in the field confident that they nearly beat san dimas. But northview was ready. and LA's confidence is what killed them. LA has some pretty good players. The only games they should really lose this year are south hills, diamond ranch, charter oak, and depending on how good they are either ayala or west covina. they should have beaten sd,nv.

You know what I'm not a Los Altos fan, but I'm feeling real bad seeing them struggle like this, It' just that we didn't have anymore transfers to hand out to you guys.

Wow, it seems like we have some very uneducated sports fans out there! We all know that football is a team sport. But since there seems to be a lot of finger pointing going on, let me in on it! I think LA lost the game for obvious reasons. Once NV caught on to our running game, they brought 8 guys to the box. That left little to no room for any holes. Result, no gain. And oh my God, I thought the QB was on vacation the way he held on to that ball. If you know the defense is busting threw, get rid of the damn ball! Sorry to say it, but the best thing that QB did last night was injure himself out. Once the second stringer (hopefully now starting QB), came in, we saw some action. But you may want to put super glue on the receivers hands since they couldn't hold on to the ball! Coaches need to mix it up. Pass and run. Don't make it easy for the other team to read your game. But seriously,if it's gonna be a LOOOOOONG season for the new QB, let's hope it's not the crybaby who can't pass!

Dimitri played the entire game except for the final 3 minutes. He got his hand crushed on a tackle and had to come out of the game. McKeehan came in and LA immediately began rolling out of the pocket which was very successful.

McKeehan led them to their score and then into field goal range. Kid has heart!

The Northview loss for Los Altos was a hard one to take. But who do you blame? Blame the first QB this is football you don’t cry over a finger you tape it up and go back out there and play the game. Don’t blame the O-Line because the quarterback cant scramble. O-Line didn’t change a single thing they did during the QB change for McKeehan. Maybe this is proof to the coaches that there should be a New QB for LA McKeehan.

1. Insider's right. The #1 problem LA has right now is the O-Line. They were embarassingly bad.

2. LA started the wrong QB. The other guy got the most reps in practice and should have gone. (Actually, I'm impressed enough with the other guy now to think they should give him a legitimate shot at keeping the job...)

3. Anyone else think that Northview's FG missed?

These kids from LA are playing their hearts out. It was obvious that Northview was bigger, faster and more athletic than Los Altos. And still, LA had a shot to win at the end. They had no buisness being in that game. But they were because they are well coached and they stick to there game plan. I'm sorry, they can't drop back 20-30 times a game and pass. If they do that, they will get killed. Good job guys and don't let any of these "so-called fans" get you down.

SD v. NV in league should be a great game. SD has a powerful offence with a great backfield as well giant offensive linemen. NV has a great defensive backfield full of good tacklers. I think SD will have a few too many tools for NV to contain the offence. Likewise, SDs defensive backfield needs to play smart and not give up any silly penalties like they did against LA. NV needs to keep the SD offense off the field. If the SD offense gets on the field, they will score. I think it will be SD +7-10. It's several weeks before the game and both teams need to take one game at a time, but it would be cool if they could both come into the game undefeated. The VVL is shaping up to be the most fun to watch this year.

How will LA cope in League. The way they are playing right now, they might have a chance to beat Wilson and that's if there lucky. Oh and how is CO and DR looking this year. I heard CO has an unstoppable running game. That 3 year starter at QB looks pretty legit to. DR has some pretty good talent returning to. I just hope its not another CO blowout in league like last year.

You guys are right on the money. A really average LA team with a new coach, offence, QB, etc. works their tailends off and nearly beats the best two teams in the VVL. This is an accurate assesment. We can't take anything from SD or NV, but we can say that things are going the right way for LA. They will get back on top. They over achieved in both of their first two games and I hope the coaching staff turns these close losses into a positive thing for the players.

Correct, Losing to San Dimas and Northview is the same as losing to Orange Lutheran and Crespi. No comparison Amat loses but they play the best. Los Altos loses and it is to neighboring SGV schools and they are crying about it? Now Los Altos can see the Bishop Amat arguement on hoe D1 play clearly outsines this D6or7 league.

Los Altos played two very close games against two very good teams. Our coach sucks fire him after two games. Our line does not block, We are predictable running the ball, the other teams has more talent...on and on and on..You guys come in last year and did not make the playoffs mind you but slammed Bishop Amat for all of the same above whinning.. Well now it is your turn and you are sounding more and more like Amat fans. Funny how the shoe is on the other foot and you are feeling Amats pain of the last two years. However, the two worst LA fans on this blog are "Knows All" and "LA Parent" They have not only put down others, but now attack your coach. WOW!

How could any fan call for your new coach to be fired?

My Lord, these kids are trying their best and just sometimes they need a little love. They probably feel bad enough knowing the great expectations felt at LA.

Its truly disgusting that fans like these "two" make it worst during tough times or a rebuilding year.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Everyone is so quick to criticize our coaches but what they don't realize is that both teams we've played so far have been WAAAAAAY more talented than us and, in both games, we had a legitimate shot to win.

Question...if we catch the last toss of the SD game for a TD and make the FG tonight making LA 2-0, are people still calling for coaching changes?

Despite what some of our more 'exuberant' fans have predicted here on these blogs;(10-0 or 9-1)...Plain stupidity.

Most knowledgeable fans suspected this was going to be a long painful season with a steep learning curve.

Let's stop belittling the competition and accept our fate with some dignity.

Young coach Aguilar and his staff have done an excellent job fielding a competitive team for past 2 weeks and they've come up a little short against a couple of good teams.

If LA goes 5/5, Aguilar deserves Coach of the Year.

Anyone who was at the game tonight and knows anything about football knows what LA's problem is (and it ain't the coaches "Knows All"). OUR O-LINE SUCKS BIG HAIRY DONKEY NUTS!!!

Evidence:

a) LA couldn't throw tonight because every time Longoria dropped back he was getting smacked in the mouth by two or three guys.

b) NV's linebackers were running free all night long because our FAT-ASS O-Line can't get up field and block them! How are we ever supposed to gain more than 3-4 yds per carry if their backers are scraping into the holes play after play?

c) We had TWO field goals blocked today because of penetration right up the gut! Hell on the first one our left guard was 6 yds in the backfield!

LA's O-Line needs to get a LOT better or it's gonna be a LOOOOOONG season for whoever's playing QB for the Conqs.

Well looks like LA has found it's QB. Who would of thought a gutsy little QB would lead LA to nail biting games. 2 weeks in a row he has given LA a chance to win the game.

Crying like a big baby

I just got home form the Northview LA game and they need to fire the coach at LA. He is terrible. Just before half he has his team huddle up to spike the ball and comes away with no points in the first half.

Then after LA recovers the onside kick there were 2 or 3 spikes to stop the clock. DO you not have a 2 min offense in to get the players to the line and ready to run a play rather than waste a down by spiking the ball you had plenty of time.

LA should be 2 and 0 but the coaching is hurting them.

By the way I am calling it tonight that the VVL Campions will be the Northview Vikings.

Way bigger and way more physical than San Dimas. PLus their skill guys are 10 times better than SDs. I do not even think that game will be close. NV will win by 20 points or more.

You LA fans sound like Bishop Amat fans. Take your loss adjust to your new coach and hopefully he can bring the team out ready to play league ball. Season is early and you played 2 competitive games.

I went to our game last week and now tonight and I'm sorry in years' past teams like Northview and San Dimas would never be able to compete with a team like us. This year unfortunately were down and both teams are up but I can guarantee both the Saints and the Vikings could never compete with teams like Bonita, Charter Oak and Diamond Ranch in our league now and even a year ago we beat both teams by a large margin of victory. I left early just because I have difficultly facing the truth and that's we were .500 last year and probably even worse this year. Every program goes through some failure but I thought we never would be one. Good luck to the Valle Vista league. You better win C.I.F. in your division because you would be one and done in ours. I will be at your game this year Northview vs. San Dimas. Defense vs. Offense for the league championship. Good luck and God's speed be with us!

Los altos will be fine by the time league comes they will be ready two very close games aganist two good teams and didnt have a qb think about it.

Don't matter who you put in the northview d is lockdown with some of the best linebackers in the valley
