We have TWO baseball teams in the LA region. It's not the city that you play in it's the region that you represent. Teams all over pro sports play outside of the city they are named for.

The Angels and the Rams played on that side of the line. From what I see that will never change and Orange county will always be their own city. The Dodgers will always be L.A.'s Team. Hey if Artie wants to call his Team L.A. he should built a stadium in L.A.. This is where the Angels started L.A., we welcome you back anytime but as of right now L.A. is Dodger Town get used to it. Been a Angel fan since the days of Albie Pearson, Jim Spencer, Andy Messersmith, Clyde Wright, Bobby Knapp, Foley,Downing and Moore. I grew up in a small mountain town about 60 miles north and east of Los Angeles. When I was a kid there was no cable TV, so the only channels we could get were by way of an antennae atop our house. You can imagine the aluminum foil, coat hangers, and other attahments that were attached to the modern art masterpiece on our chimmney! We were able to get three channels - and one of the channels (KTTV) carried the Dodgers! So I became to biggest Dodger fan there ever was in my little town. I'm 40 years removed from those days and I've watched some painful seasons... But even now, in beautiful HD, I still love the Dodgers! As much good baseball as the Angels play, they will never be the Dodgers. As close as they can move the LA city limits to the Big-A, they (Angels) will never be from LA - LA is Dodgertown and if the Dodgers win - LA wins. If the Angels win - way to go OC - thank God for Socisoca - a former Dodger!

These same guys that make the weak LA/Orange County argument were more than likely traveling down to Anaheim to see the Los Angeles Rams play at the Big A. And didn't the Rams win a division title down in Anaheim while being called the Los Angeles Rams.

I have had my bad experiences at Dodger stadium and yes you have the idiot cholos/raider fans running around there making it a drunk fest and tatoo expo but they are no different then the Philly,NY,Boston or Chicago fans they have idiots too. you pay no mind to them you have fun at the ballpark and ignore they are there. Trust me if you are a season ticket holder these animals are one game buyers they are not in the same seat all the time. I grew up a Dodger fan, work in the OC but will always be a Dodger fan and season ticket holder. I have been to angels games out of pure love for the game and yes their stadium is nicer but I just cannot get into that team I actually go to see the other team. The Dodgers are L.A. anything else like the Angels is Orange County Anaheim not L.A. ..........Now lets take game two and this series and make the Cubs wait 101 years.
