Random thoughts from the Scouting Guru
The Scouting Guru has been all over the San Gabriel Valley and beyond, and like always, he's offered to share his thoughts, free of charge. Don't hate, enjoy it for what it's worth, which is one man's opinion on the talent in the San Gabriel Valley.
For all of the Guru's notes and breakdowns, click this thread!

It's time to clear out the notebook and give some random thoughts as well as we get ready for the playoffs.
• There seems to be this misconception that I just do the SGV and that I have all this time to do the area. In reality, I only have one day to the area as I spend the rest of the time working in the IE. I hate to be the guy that brings bad news, but I have to work much harder to isolate the top players in the IE than I do in the SGV. The east side only has (at most) 9 schools to look for college prospects. In the IE, the number becomes 50. I could go on and on, but we at least try to make it out to a school one time in the month and try to find prospects. Hope to see you on I-15.
• There was an interesting post that asked me if there were college prospects in some of the lower tier schools in the area. Sorry, I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but their isn't. With the exception of San Dimas and Covina, there isn't one. Now, maybe there might be one that pops up at the end of the year, but I can't see it.
• And while we are at it, we were asked a question on Kyle Salm, the offensive lineman from San Dimas. We've seen him on film and we had a chance to watch him in person at the Covina game, and we think he's a good lineman and will get some attention late in the year. He just needs to be a little bit more physical. Plus, he plays in the Wing-T so it's very tough to gauge whether he can handle a zone running scheme and if he can pass-protect. Nice prospect though.
• There also seems to be an misconception that we don't like Charter Oak's Chris Allen. Couldn't be further from the truth. We like the kid and he has thrived in CO's offensive package. He has risen on our boards and we've sent film out to colleges for evaluations. Like we said last week, we like Deen and Allen, but they are clearly behind Mt. SAC's Nick Lamaison who is making both of these guys look like middle-tier QB's on West Coast Recruiting boards. If I'm putting together my dream team, Lamaison is my first QB that I am taking in the area.
• Wanted to have a little fun this week, so let's take Robledo's Top-5 and find the right college teams that are in the national championship hunt this year and mix and match them. Just trying to find a way to have a little fun here.
1. Bishop Amat. (College: Notre Dame). Yes, they are the Fighting Irish of the SGV. With the tradition, the uniforms and the way that the fans talk about the team (Need, some comedy, go on a Fighting Irish Message Board...you'll find a lot of similarities between those fans and the Amat fans). Notre Dame's latest head coach (Charlie Weis) had a big-time honeymoon with the ND faithful in his first year...so is Amat's Steve Hegarty (I think the guy could go any where in the SGV right now and have his dinner paid for). Both have major questions with their opposition the next couple of weeks, but we think that Amat will be just fine. We'll be at the game Saturday night.
2. Charter Oak (College: Penn St.). Yep, between "Joe Pa" and "Big Lou' there are enough wins between both of them to last a lifetime. All we need is for "Big Lou' to get the big bottleneck glasses like Paterno and were all set. Lots of similarities here. A really nice QB, a good offense line and underclassman that are really athletic. Charter Oak will be no worse than a two seed when the pairings are really in a couple of weeks. A seminfinal team for sure.
3. San Dimas (College: Utah). A mid-major team of the area that hasn't been beaten this year. Had a nice win against Los Altos but we were not all that impressed with their performance against Covina a couple of weeks ago. I think that they would have fit nicely in the Southeast Division and would have been forced to play great football against some of the top teams and coaches in the area. But, with their placement in the Mid-Valley Division, they don't have to play great football and they can still go deep in the playoffs. Their win against Bonita was huge! Would have loved to seen SD take on CO...it would be an interesting game.
4. South Hills (College: USC). Let's dissect David Wharton's article this morning in the LA Times about USC and see if there are any similarities between them and South Hills. "There's a lot of times that we look like a championship football team and there are a lot of times we look like we haven't played football." Damien Williams, USC WR. Gee, sounds a lot like the SH Offense. "We kind of shoot ourselves in the foot at times," Mark Sanchez, USC QB. Yep, that could easily be said of the SH offense, too. "I believe this is a defensive team. If we keep playing great defense, teams won't beat us," USC DE Kyle Moore. Oh yeah, in our opinion, this is by far the best SH defense in 6 years. "We've been playing a lot of young guys who are getting better," USC Defensive Coordinator Nick Holt. Well, last I count, there were five players that are seniors in SH's starting defensive line-up. Interesting stat of the day for Robledo and everyone else to consider; in the last seven seasons, Carroll is 23-0 in November. Since 1999, Bogan has been 33-3 in the month of November. Hmm...I think the Rowland game is on November 7th. My money is Mr. November...Steve Bogan!
5. Glendora (College: Ohio St.). Lot of expectations on this team and they came out like a bolt of lightining and played well. But came that one game...for Ohio St it was USC. For Glendora, it was West Covina. Now, Ohio St. didn't come to play against SC. Glendora came to play against West Co...they just decided to make mistakes at the worst times imaginable. Both are going to finish like a house on fire, and in the case of Glendora, we see them winning the Sierra League) and being a team with a lot of momentum entering the 2010 season. Pascarella has clearly turned in one of the better coaching jobs of the year.
Well, we are totally flush out of stuff. And with our time being very limited over the next couple of weeks, it's time for you the reader to step-up. Next week I would like to do a Q and A column using some of the better questions you have sent me. But I can't do it without your input. So, if you have a legitimate recruiting question, please email me at sgvierecruiting@gmail.com. I will not be using questions on the blog. Think of it as our version of Peter King 's (of SI.com) Tuesday column. The ball is now in your court.

just letting you kno i am a loser and a dumb A%% i have no clue what i am talking about and AMAT is way over rated i just wanted to let everyone kno i am a complete idiot
NOT RELATED TO CASTANEDA I'VE SEEN HIM PLAY 3 GAMES WHILE SCOUTING FOR A LOCAL COLLEGE
HE'S LEGIT I HOPE LA OR BAHS GET HIM ITS A SHAME HE IS STUCK ON THAT TEAM.....
IT SEEMS LIKE BASSETT RUNS THE SAME PLAY ALL THE TIME .... I'VE TALKED TO HIS DAD HE IS OPEN TO CHANGE HIS SCHOOL..
SHHS
You make some real smart observations about the GURU.
I would interesting to see him come forward and answer the questions people ask.. not just the ones he wants to answer.
Guess he can't handle the good with the bad.
This guy really cracks me up with his info. He attends one game or one half and now is an expert about a team. Know some coaches who simply do not trust this guy.
James, you may have a few fooled but not the entire valley.
Greetings!
I Am Mike The Clone
And You Are Not........
Joe Amat just wanted to chime in and say that you are 100% correct in your post to SHHS. And that post deserves a "RACK EM"
As usual my friend you "GET IT "
Hope all is well say hi to the rest of the boys. Go "Bagpipers' and go "Lancers"
I AM OUT!

"Most parents dont get it" Maybe true, maybe false, but hoepfully most do. I happen to "Dream" a little more. LOL Sorry Joey couldnt resist..
Happen to know a little more about the waterboy. Lets just wait and see if he comes to the table. If he's connected, we'll see soon enough. Until then, he's just anther BS artist that the Admin finally said GET OUT.
SHHS-sorry, most parents don't get it. and why are you so angry? maybe that is the really tough question.
Joe
If you simply want to be on the GURU NUTS that your business.
You kept writing your theory books on the blog. Points well taken, but let’s get real, some parents are way ahead of your lectures…
Let’s just see if the Guru can answer the tuff questions. Still waiting!
Don’t see the Guru the way you do, but as I stated before, I could do the ADD/SUB gig, but not when it comes to kids. I’ll leave that up to the so called experts. LOL
They really call that guy RADIO!
SHHS,
And what IS the point? To "dream"? My point is to *WORK*!
Should we say, "That's OK, honey, the dumb man didn't put you on his list"... or "If your not getting recognition... what are you going to do about it?"
Which one do you want your kids to learn? I KNOW what lesson mine learned. Here's the lesson and I'm going to go a little "Mean Machine" on you and proud of it. As he should be. If more would listen to the message instead worrying about the messenger we'd gain some insight from My Friend and the Guru that we can put to use in raising our kids.
A long time ago my son was on a team and in the first few practices was getting no love from the coach. My message? Keep dreaming? NO, damnit GET TO WORK! Sprint everywhere, sit or stand in the front of the group, make eye contact with the coach, be coachable, answer "yes sir/no sir", hustle your @$$ off, WORK harder than everyone else, perform YOUR best... and the right people will notice. Guess what? Played better on that team than, maybe, any team ever.
THAT laid the groundwork for how he approached everything from then on. While playing OR in the classroom. So that built a foundation for his performance as a college athlete and being one of that FEW% that has EARNED the privilege to do so. More importantly, a far greater accomplishment was walking across that stage and hearing SUMMA CUM LAUDE (that's the top ONE% of each undergraduate college's graduating class for an academic year). He EARNED that because of the lessons he learned in sports. And he served as an example to his younger siblings. 11 college varsity letters and counting.. with academic achievements to surpass that.
THAT"S the message kids NEED to hear... and that is the point YOU'RE missing. It's NOT about DREAMS. It's about WORK! And to be honest with you, had he worked HARDER he might still be playing... and he recognizes that after the fact. Hopefully, another lesson learned.
Sports is a series of teachable moments - use them! What happens when one of these "unnoticed players", on the many scouting lists, is a college grad and caught in his entry level job at a company of 500 employees? Is he going to "keep his dreams alive" or is he going to WORK his way to a promotion?
Sports is life in a game situation... are the kids learning to play?
Here's a post that I think offers some insight and forces me to ask a few questions.
James man your a cool dude, dont let all of these people side track the good your doing for cameron, and others across this valley. you are a very genuine person and you do make a difference, Take care and keep chest bumpin always lol. GO DAWGS!

Why do people from South Hills call the "Guru" Radio? And from what I can tell there is obvious a bias towards South Hills number one and Deen number two. South Hills and Deen are not the two best teams and QB's in the Valley but yet he promotes them obviously much more than anyone else. Which then leads me into many would agree FredJ obviously feels the same and that's why unfortunately he gives this space and coverage more about the "DAWGS" than anyone else.
Daddy-O, just curious, what game did you see him play?
or are you related to eric? =)
I do think there are more prospects in the SGV area but the players are not taken advantage of the marketing from the high school camps like NIKE Camps or Scout.com Camps like many of the HS players in other Southern California areas.
The college coaches are looking at HS players in there JR year to get an early shot at recruiting them. The scouts already know who to look at when they come to the schools. The camps are the biggest way of getting your name in the network. It doesn't matter if your on the CIF list or an All Area list. It matters if you get your name on the HS database at RIVALS.com or Scout.Com.
It appears that it doesn't matter what high school school you attend as long as you can compete with the top talent and hold your own at the camps.
If you review Joe Amat's local SGV list, there were only a handful players ( Ray Rodriguez, Dominique Austin, and Kebin Umodo, listed on the database last year. Dorian Wells from South Hills was also on the database.
We need to provide more information about camps on this blog so that the area players can attract more scouts.
There are some SGV players currently playing college ball who are getting exposure. Joe Amat, I'm surprized that you haven't mentioned to two former Amat players who are representing the SGV on the college teams. Jonathan Cornell is starting at MLB for Ole Miss and his name was mentioned several times during a recent game of ESPN. Also, Dominique Austin of Arizona name mentioned during the SC game last week. Hopefully we will hear more from other players in the future. I like hearing and seeing our local players on TV.
"Guru" why don't you research and provide all the High Camp information on the blog to help out. Rivals.com (contain NIKE HS combine) and camp information, scout.com, and there is a freshman/Soph Camp for early exposure.
Let's support all the local talent.!!!!!
Keep your Dreams
Great post!
Joe Amat you missed the point and your comments are a given. I think this guy may just be ahead of your speech.
Hey Guru.....
Still waiting.. for the answers? Lets see what you really know or should we say don't know!
i understand and why people are so passionate about the high school players in the area, they're their children. however, when i read some of the posts, it's glaringly obvious that many of us don't really understand what division 1 college football programs are looking for. unfortunately for the area, there just aren't very many here. that doesn't mean these kids aren't excellent high school football players with great heart and character. it simply means that these kids should explore other college options if they want to continue their football careers. if a kid really wants to play football after high school, there's a program for him. it might not be a division 1 program, but a football program that will allow him to play the game he loves and earn a college degree at the same time. we sometimes tend to get hung up on the "division 1 thing". i hope these young men continue to play at the next level if they choose to, regardless of the level. also, i don't know the history of the guru, but i'm certain that athletic prowess has nothing to do with talent evaluation.
Keep your dreams...
My football playing days were many, many years ago... but football hasn't changed that much... the players sure have... but not the game. I would never tell any player not to do his best to fulfill his biggest dreams... and how you intrepreted my (or Joe Amat's) earlier post(s) to say that is anyone's guess. I will say this though... and if you disagree you simply put your full ignorance of high school football on display. Just three simple facts...
1.) There are very few D-1 level players in the SGV.
2.) Of the half dozen or so ligitimate prospects in the valley, only 2 or 3 will get offers to large scale programs... so others to smaller programs (non BCS) and still others to D-2, D-3, or JCs.
3.) Of the 2 or 3 that get a shot... one or two might be an impact player at the D-1 level.
Think about it... I'm sure we can list a thousand or more kids from the area who have played college football in the last 10 or so years. How many at D-1 schools... the list gets smaller... how many were starters or saw regular reps at the D-1 level... the list gets smaller... how many were impact players... the list gets really small... how many were headliners... this list can be counted on your hands in toes for the last 20 or 30 years...
That's a fact. I don't say that with the intention of shooting a kid and his dreams down... not at all. Instead, I say it with the hopes that coaches, players, and parents will have realistic expectations of themselves. Not every kid is a great football player... even though a good many are very good! So my point is this... enjoy these great high school games. Life comes at these you men pretty fast after high school. Injuries, jobs, relationships, etc... may render a younster's senior year in high school his highest in terms of organized football. So enjoy this time... not matter what scouts say or don't say... No matter if you're on a powerhouse team or not... No matter if your the MVP on your squad or not...
And since you asked... Again this was many moons ago!
Malvern Prep High School (PA - outside of Philly) - Defensive line
University of Illinois (4 years) - Defensive end
Chicago Bears -
2 years special team only
US Navy -
4 years - LTJG USS New Jersey BB62
BNSF Railroad -
37 years - various positions
I got a Bad back, bad knees, crooked fingers, and ringing in my ears from time to time to prove it :-)
Keep your dreams.
You make some good points and offer a very "pie in the sky" look at things. I think that the MOST important thing is to POINT OUT how very few players have EARNED the right to get to the next level with years of hard work. Congratulations if you were one of those. IF so, I'm sure you worked extremely hard - which is the EXACT point. And BTW, don't get started with the "you don't have a clue what it takes".. it'll just get you in trouble.
Participation at the next level, and even more importantly earning an athletic scholarship, does not come easy and is not a right granted to the best player on every team. Players better start working pretty early on the field, in the weightroom, and in the classroom if they expect to keep that dream alive.
That is not a message of doom and gloom , but should be a message of inspiration and motivation. Maybe you CAN be in the 5% - if so GO FOR IT and leave nothing behind. Otherwise you'll have regrets. The other point made by "Just Wondering" is that it goes by so fast. ENJOY IT! And due to the short time span - don't waste a day. Do something to get better. Because while your not - someone else is... and they're after that 5% too! So every day - ask yourself if you're *honestly* in that 5% - if not get to work!
Your message, "Anything can happen if you put your mind to it." is often thrown around a little too easy because many kids think that dreaming about it is enough. They have to "put their mind to it" and then put their body to work too!
To think, "I really want to play in college" is not enough. If so, were you in the weightroom today, on the track, in the gym, running the bleachers, on the field - IN THE LIBRARY!?!
If not ... think again. Do you REALLY want it?
If so... where will you be tomorrow? I know where you need to be - and it's not dreaming.
To all the kids wanting to move on to the next level.
First of All, keep believing in yourself and your dreams. Your dreams are yours, and you don't need anyone on this blog to tell you different. Anything can happen if you put your mind to it.
I am amazed at some of these so called experts; Joey Amat(Shame on you), Just Wondering(Too new in the park), Guru(Big Joke). Where the hell did you play your high school, college, or professional ball? Sandlot at best and we all this bag wind GURU hasn't been an athlete in his wildest dreams!
Unless you been there and done it, you don't have the slightest clue what’s it takes to get there. You can only speculate at best! You don't know if a kid is going to make it or not? Maybe not, but to come on here and say X% make it, okay, but maybe someone might be that X percent. I was, and I am sure glad I didn’t listen to this kind of nonsense from individuals making evaluations, judgments or opinions on kids. It’s so wrong and the GURU with ZERO experience shouldn’t be allowed or endorsed by this rag paper.
Opinions in a comment section are one thing, but a thread is just ridiculous given this clown’s background. Sounds like someone should be placing calls to Denver to get this situation addressed.
READ THE MID VALLEY NEWS. NOW THAT IS REAL NEWS REPORTING AND I AM VERY SERIOUS ABOUT WHAT I AM SAYING. ALWAYS TEAMS, PLAYERS, AND COACHES FIRST AND LAST AND NOTICE I AM SAYING PLURAL IN MY SENTENCE.
Wow that's a novel concept. Actually having intellectual conversations with the players and coaches that are competing every Friday night giving of themselves and each other for a noble cause. Absolutely absurd that the "Guru" has more clout and creditability than the young men who play the game and men who coach the game. For years, everyone has always supported the idea of an inside the lines or behind the scenes kind of idea. You mean we could actually listen to someone more intriguing and insightful than the "Guru?" Say it ain't so Joe!
kyle salm
Maybe so, but a D1 school called the coaches five times last week. So much for the Guru knowing what's up at SD. Another kid on the radar there also. Getting calls by three schools every week.
Pays to know the right people and the coaches.
Fred
Why do continue to use this waterboy. If This guys thinks somehow he's going to land a position at a college as a scout then he's wrong. This guy is making up things that don't even make sense.Fred your loosing all your credibility as a reporter. Please loose this meat head and let the bloggers blog.Fred I would rather you interview coaches in the area and with different questions from your bloggers and here their responses about whats going on in the sgv. Now that would be interesting.
Guru,
Have any of the boys that made the "list" of "Divisional First Team", in the Southwest Div been offered any D1 Scholarships ?????? Does anyone know ?????
i am dyin laughing over here u have to be kidding the kid runs like a duck no cordination what so ever
JA-
You're right on the money here! Realistically there are not more than 1 or 2 players in the SGV that are true blue chip D-1 prospects. Everyone wants to think their favorite team or favorite player is the next D-1 superstar... paying at USC, UCLA, or some other local big program. Parents, fans, and coaches alike should take heart in the level of competetion they enjoy each friday night. When a kid has a great divisional game, the tribune does a great job of tooting their horn for them and giving them their 15 minutes. The fact is, for 99% of seniors in the SGV, the fun stops in mid-December... so enjoy it while it lasts... it's too much fun to be wasted hoping for the scouting Guru or anyone else to write 27 kind words about your player or team of choice!
Guru,
You said with the exception of San Dimas and Covina... What Covina player to do refer to?
Keep the questions coming recruiting fans. If we continue with the pace that we are going, we may do a Q and A column Friday as we head into the week.
just meaningless,
You really think so? Dominique Austin, teh only SGV Pac10 signee... isn't on that list. Just because YOU don't agree wit ha list doesn't make it "meaningless. A list is a list. It's someones list. Here you go if it makes a difference to you. Have a ball with either one. Same result. Same point.
These are you local football players who made "Divisional First-Teams"

Joe,
Last years All CIF list is a bit more representive of SGV talent. I wouldn't use the Tribs All Valley list.
Silly, Exactly.
Exhale,
Cut and paste job from the Trib post last December. I can't believe they'd make a mistake !:?)
I guess my point is everyone is talking about these "studs" at their school, yet the odds show that last year out of all the "studs" only a couple/few are really scholarship guys.
Just trying to help people take a realistic approach to how tough it is to get that schollie at the next level and be listed as anyones "top ten".
Joe Amat
Great point. Very similar to the one you made last month. The idea that there more than a handful of players in the SGV good enough for Div. 1 is just silly.
It is great for kids to dream.
Adults should support those dreams. Not live them.
Joe
Chad Young is a Senior this year. Fix your files before you post..LOL
Lets let him answer the tuff questions first.
Lets really see what he really knows! The other stuff is easy research Joey.
Plus, why bring up kids that shouldn't be on the list? WEAK!
Why did you do that for Daddy-O? now Los Altos or Amat will recruit him.
Just for reference purposes, here is last years Senior All -Valley Selections.
Somebody please come on and tell me how many of these kids received Division 1 scholarships (which is really what our Scouting Guru has listed). After you realize that you can count them on one hand - you may realize that even the best in the SGV don't get D1 schollies.... much less Pac10 offers.
First Team Offense

So now come on and say who should be on this years "top ten list"... and who you'd take off.
James man your a cool dude, dont let all of these people side track the good your doing for cameron, and others across this valley. you are a very genuine person and you do make a difference, Take care and keep chest bumpin always lol. GO DAWGS!
GURU> Allen is not the only prospect. Also you dont seem to think much of Chasrger O-line. Look at the bookend anchors on D-line Peri #18 and Williams #56. These two are a Qbacks bad dream. I bet their stats are as good if not better than any team in the Miramonte League.
Guru,
What do you think about what's going on over at Damien, we have all the talent in world and can't win a game. Lot's of parents talking about Morrison, they want him out. He's been in the HOT-seat for a couple of years now but this year he's showing us that he crumbles under preasure, does NOT make any adjustments, and is a horrible leader, he needs to go.
Guru,
Keep up the good work. Some people can't handle the truth. Not every athlete is meant to play Division 1 ball
CASTANEDA IS ONLY A JUNIOR
Random thoughts indeed. Can you believe that this guy Jaime or James, whatever his name is, actually goes down on the field and talks to the kids during their warm ups and tries to interrupt the pregame routine. Stay away!
BASSETT HAS A GOOD OFFENSIVE TACKLE #75 ERIC CASTANEDA HE'S 6FOOT 2
245LBS THE TEAM SUCKS BUT HES LEGIT
Guru,
When you say underclassmen in the area, do you mean from Frosh-Jr? Or Soph/Juniors?
Good Grief
The size of H.S. kids is out of this world.
Bill Fisk, former Mt. SAC Head Coach was an All-American Guard at USC (early 60's)... His college playing weight was 215 lbs.
Jack Lambert, one of the best inside linebackers that ever played, only weighed 210 lbs. (Pitt. Steelers 70's)
There was always the exception.. Kids over 220 lbs. But it was only the exception.
In the mid-80's if you were over 200 lbs. You were huge.
What in the world happened?
Fast Food - Supplements - Weight Training...
Not to mention.... parents are now way-too-involved... living there dreams through their son's.
It was not too long ago, that parents were too busy living their own lives, letting kids be kids.
Mr. "GURU"
I can pick way more players out of the SGV then you have. Youre not even a real GURU you ass face you're not even a real scout you're an assistant coach for SHHS. . .stop fooling yourself and the Valley please Thanks "GURU"
hey scouting guru, i enjoy reading your posts keep it up, and what do you think about adam muema of charter oak? think he's got a shot at the next level?
Hey Guru
Would you like to sport a Washignton State sweat shirt or Princeton?
My bet, is that some kids you have no idea about pick the academics first and not the Pac 10.
Time to get out of your shell, because you're wrong on some of these so called small tier schools.
Its about academics first, but we all know you skipped that area in your life.
coach waterboy, at least spell Hagerty right will you, what an azzwhole you are and please tell me about the 50 schools in the IE that have talent for the next level, are you kidding me or are you including Vegas and Arizona, lol, you're the master of the obvious and Stevie Wonder could find "talent" in the areas you and your lemming scout! Another waste of space to pat your self on the back, just because you've got Freddie buffaloed doesn't I can't smell the stench from here.
Guru,
I have another question for you. Do scouts pay a lot of attention to the nature of a prospects family life. We've seen some kids come out of the SGV with mad skills but really sketchy home lives. Could a youngster's family life limit his chances at attention from colleges? It seems to me that (with the exception of Fresno State and the Dallas Cowboys) sports teams have become more and more concerned with the PR exposure from players who are problematic.
Mr. Guru,
I've enjoyed reading your input here on the blog. Last week you mentioned Cwantas Brown and this week a few words about Kyle Salm. There are several other prospects at San Dimas and I'd love to hear you 10 cents worth...
Nico Barbone - RB/DB
Ryan Doll - Line
Garrett Smith - Line
Daniel Joseph - RB/DB
Joseph has great speed but might be a little undersized. Barbone has great size, he hits really hard, and has great heart but might be a step slow. Doll hits like a train but might be a little undersized (maybe 6-1 and 220). Smith has great height (6-5 I think) but might be a little light (250 or so). I've really enjoyed watching these guys play this season and what they're accomplishing this season is remarkable. They are fine players and I wonder what you think their prowess might be at the next level.
Thanks again for your thoughts... I enjoy reading them!
JAMES, ITS TIME FOR YOU TO STEP UP! SOUNDS LIKE SOME HAVE YOUR NUMBER!
Guru A Joke
Now were getting east of Barranca. I do beleive you're right and I know others at Bonita and the surrounding areas that are getting D1 calls at home.
Lets see if the "Real Guru" can open the right door and list the kids and colleges. Then we'll know if he really knows his s---or is just full of s---.
Been waiting for someone to bring up the track. Live by the sword, die by the sword.
Keep following the Green..
