Sermons verbals UCLA
Diamond Ranch cornerback Brandon Sermons gave a verbal commitment to attend UCLA on Tuesday night. Our Brian Dohn talked to Panthers coach Roddy Layton about the signing. "I played under (UCLA defensive coordinator) DeWayne Walker, and he and Brandon are very similar," Layton said of his days with Walker at Mt. SAC. "They're quiet, straight shooters. They're pure work. You want to be there and play for him. He's very quiet, very technical and very hard working, and Brandon's that way."

OOOOPS I meant Brandon. Sorry, I can't sleep. My team can't win on the road. Norm's leaving. DeWayne's leaving. My basketball pool is overdue. AAAAAAAAAAH!

OOOPS..my bad. I meant Brandon. Heck, I can't keep track of names. Great kids keep telling me no. Norm is cooking Kimchee and my NCAA basketball pool is keeping me up at night.

Good thing Rodney is getting used to losing. I've got 4 more years of misery for him! Unless the NCAA finds out about my shenanigans...again.

SGV FB Fan,
This blog is my therapy. Works for me. I just spew the truth. Sometimes the truth is hard to take. Go stick your bottle back in your mouth an ask mommie to change your diaper, so you don't miss the next episode of SpongeBob!
And keep your bunk diagnosis to yourself!

You have some serious personal issues that need tended to.

Or probably the SGV LOVES the Bruins. The players were offered elsewhere, but chose UCLA. Anyways congrats. At least our chances of beating the Trojans are increasing.

Compare the a44 whuppins that Charter Oak took at the hands a "down" Bishop Amat team with the valiant effort Diamond Ranch made against the "reborn" Bishop Amat staff and players.
Yes you won big against Dr the following week. I hope you sent donuts and a dozen roses over to Hagerty and Co.
Want to see a truer test of DRs potential. Look at the Chino Hills and Bishop Amat games vs. Damien and compare that to the close games that were turned in by the Panthers against both those squads.
Hate all you want. CO best test is against Glendora and CO won't have that test this year. Come back and talk trash went you get bounced before your coronation.
CO fans are usually the best in the business. Too bad DR brings out the worst in you and of you. Coach Lou has too much class to have fans talking like you do on their behalf.
Good luck to both teams. Both are coached by outstanding gentlemen and field exciting play makers..

DR got their faces kicked in by the best every single time. They took a whoopin'! They don't play well as a "team". They have no discpline. Which is why they have nothing to show for it. Flag or no flag against Amat, a "team" full of warriors would have found the way to over come the ref's botched call, and put the ball in the end zone. They don't rally when they have to, they don't circle the wagons and fight to the last man, they are a buncha back stabbin', finger pointin', cheaters! They tried to ruin CO's field days before the game by driving on it at night leaving doughnuts all over the field. Just like last years stunt before the CO game. They have no class.

Congratulations to Coach Roddy Layton. This is a coach on the rise. There has been a lot of dis-information concerning the Diamond Ranch Program but few will argue that Coach Layton prepares his players for the next level. His players are well conditioned, know the game and come to play.
The Bishop Amat game was a great look into the dynamics that make Coach Layton and his players Big Time performers. Someday Coach Layton will move on from DIamond Ranch and the public school system and then the sky is the limit.
Diamond Ranch has a few more players that are going to sign. Best of luck to all the players that are blessed to move on to the next level. Thank your Coach when you sign and don't forget how playing against the best made colleges stand up and take notice.

Damn! The Bruins LOVE the SGV. Four out of their ten verbals hail from the area. Golper from Arcadia, Price and Bowens from Amat, and now Sermons from DR. Congrats to all the players!
