Ahh, the playoffs are just a few days away. In today's paper we featured Charter Oak quarterback Chris Allen, who is a remarkable 28-3-2 as a starter since taking over his sophomore season. Covina coach Darryl Thomas talked about facing No. 2 Azusa in the first round on Friday. When I asked if the Aztecs are a sleeper or legitimate No. 2, Thomas laughed, "I'm not going to answer that question," he said. "They're having one of their greatest years in a long time." Bonita coach Eric Podley knows the Bearcats have had trouble against physical offensive lines with explosive running backs, losing to San Dimas and Charter Oak convincingly. The Bearcats will run into similar problems against West Covina. "(West Covina is) very physical and fast," Podley said. "They are very similar to Charter Oak. They will look to run first and pass when they need to. We didn't play well against Charter Oak, so I'm sure that will help us. We've seen similar offenses like that, but will that give us confidence? We'll see."

Allen is D2 at best not a D1 player. He needs to lose some weight to get more speed. If this is not baby fat then he is having eating problems. He needs to trim down.
Ha sUcla coaches scouted this kid, his favorite college is UCLA, he is quite an athlete he could sur help them. Thanks
