Dear Steve,
great job on this week's previews! How many tacos do you eat when you're done with all that hard work? You like Corona or Dos Equis more?

Just my opinion. I would love to see Charter Oak and South Hills for the championship game just to prove that Covina has the best players in the valley. They are also the most respectful kids. The trash talking really seems to cease and exist and the kids play hard and fair. It was a great game a few years ago but I know S.H. hearts were not in it because of a close death related incident. Too much trash talking when West Co played C.O. and I dont remember C.O. running up the score their first game last year. There second game, I actually saw kids crying towards the end of the game and small fights breaking out. This was not a good representation of EITHER school. I even heard parents yelling things that were not very sportsmanlike for a high school football game. I heard less trash talking when C.O. played Glendora. And everyone knows how big a rival that game is. I know this next comment is going to get some responses. TWO TOP TEAMS IN THE S.G.V. GLENDORA AND CHARTER OAK. Happy Birthday you bunch of turkeys!!!

AZTECS, don't take Temple City Lightly and Don't! go by Fred's and Steve's predictions on having AZUSA winning. Temple City, has been around for a long time, and they know how to play Football real well, and been to the playoffs many times.

Be smart and score early and continue to hit hard and wrap up. AZTECS don't get too relaxed! FIRE UP...

Listening to the audio talk about the La Serna/Rowland game...I would definitely love to see what Rowland could do against C.O. if they could get by this tough La Serna team. Cal did beat us in game 1, but we are a more experienced team now. Should be an excellent game...

Who are YOU to demand anything. "Let me make it clear right now, I don't want". Dude, get a life. I don't know who you think you are partner, but you need to get off your soapbox. Chump.....

I sit here in my private study, with a Cup of earl grey in one hand, a soothing pipe in the other, my loyal hound Chester at my feet, the sharp tones of Beethoven’s 5th playing in the background, when I saw what I could not fathom.

A jest ! Yes a jest from my dearest and closest friend.

KS, I once again raise my glass to you. Well put, and well done old chap.

Francis, he has not forsaken us, he has returned.

I want to make this perfectly clear right now.I don't want any whining or crying after Friday nights game. If we had this player or if this player hadn't been thrown out . Bottom line is you create your own destiny. Period

WTF! That was down right PAINFUL! None of you wannabe sportscasters (not including Fred) should be anywhere near a microphone. I can understand a pre-schooler reading the pre amble better than I can understand you jerk offs! Take a speech class for our sake!

Fred, I agree with you that CV will have to bring its A game and try to hit Chargers early. When Chargers get into the 2nd half they dominate the opponen Mix in RYCROFT and GOLDEN. Watch WILLIAMS PERI and CLAPPER take it to CV.
Chargers 42 CV 21.

tappedout said:

S.H. vs. D.R. is going to just be a matter of who wins up front - period!

Muddy field, 2 good offensive lines and a real chance for a Freshman Running Back (#35 Jamel Heart) to become a legend! I hope this kid goes off and carries the Huskies - that would be killer to witness.

But D.R.'s linebacker #54 will have something to say about that - I'm sure! That dude is a stud.

I say it's close and higher scoring than most people are expecting.

South Hills 24
Diamond Ranch 21

Yeah - that sounds about right.
