Cezar[CeeJay] is a beast!.. he has sick handles and a nice shot.. i've played with ceejay when i was in middle school in his old travel ball team and since then he's been killing older tougher players. Boomer Hater is liar, and blind. I was at the Wormman/North Torrance game. Gary, whose the head coach of North Torrance told me after the game which they did win big, that only after CJ had to sit because of a 3rd early foul, that they went up by 20. I quote, "if CJ was in the game it was anyone's game, the kid can't be stopped". That is a comment from the head varsity coach at North Torrance. Enough Boomer Hater, tell the truth or go away. Finally, Bobby Miles did have a pretty good over all game, good job kid. Oh! Boomer hater, I know most of the Southern Cal Basketball coaches personally and half the Southern Cal football coaches. fred although boomer hater is an idiot and should get off the blog, he does have a point. Bobby Miles deserves some coverage, i believe he is just as good as CJ. He has been their longer also. If it wasnt for CJ, bobby is the best player in the Valley.

To all CJ SGV haters (Boomer Hater), I've known CJ since he was 8 years old. He was distroying 12/13 year old kids on outside courts in South Central at 8 year, while his older brother Joe was distroying players in a community adult league. Fact is the SGV has a very very good basketball player. We should enjoy him, not hate (Boomer Hater). Fact, CJ plays for Belmont Shore, one of the best travel programs in the COUNTRY. I now his coach dino personally. He starts for Belmont Shore (enough said). I now his coach at Workman. One of the reasons CJ is playing for Workman is to develop the patience of a One guard. His Coach is developing that characteristic. Finally, are all you haters kidding, we haven't had a CJ since Casey Jacobsen of Glendora. Thats amost 10 years ago (1999). The SGV has good talented players, but they're no CJ, he simply stands out and next year should be unstoppable. Fred keep up the great work.

*Fact: LaVerne Lutheran played right before Workman on tuesday and stayed to watch the game right after. They sat on the bench right below me and the first thing one of them said was watch #14 that boy can ball. Soon after that a couple of the kids that know him i guess from AAU were talking about how none of them wanted to guard him and then CJ did a sick cross over,spin move up and under and about 3-4 of them jumped up off the bleachers and started running up and down the first couple steps cheering in amazment...They talked about him the whole first half and he did not dissapoint as he probably had 20pts at half time cause he only played like 3min in the second half cause they were crushing Pomona and he finished with 26pts...

The reason why i talk about CJ is because i am a proud workman alumni. i got the name "Boomer" back in the day at workman from my football coaches. i was an all league tight end, and also happened to be the kicker, and everytime it was a booming kick. the interview says he was a 14 year old freshman. i signed on early in the morning and caught this threat just as it was posted. katella wasn't good. workman just had a bad offensive day. they did however allow the fewest points all season against them. we'll find out how true this team is tonight against ayala. why don't you start using a original name boomer hater. you obviously aren't from the area, so get the hell out of here.

By the way FRed (boomer) my kid barely played his 4 minutes per game, but had fun and as much flak at Mater Dei get's, they treated him with respect and as part of the team. Maybe that is why I sent him over there when I live in SGV. I know alot of kids that are playing right now in Different HS in SGV that are great and work hard but never get's any kind of congrats or features on them from you folks. What happed to writing about the kids that is jsut as good as cesar or better but never get any exposure, maybe cause they can not afford AAU ball? Why not start an article each week on a different player from a different HS every week?

Did I ever use the words best player ever? I'm mostly speaking in the Valley, where I see most players. Obviously I'm not everywhere, I'm not a scout, but again, scouts that KNOW have him high on their charts. Not you, not me, but people who actually do this for a living. He's one of the top-rated sophomores in the country. Or in other words, there is no player in the Valley as highly regarded at Guerrero as a sophomore. I don't know why you would bash a kid with tremendous talent who works as hard as he does, but then again, you probably have your own selfish reasons.

Just becaues UCLA is lookinga t you does not mean they are offering, they look at thousands of kids all over the country, what you mean the customized letter he got is not special, oops thousands of other kids got that same letter. But having seen him firsthand, and many other talented guards over the years, I can't remember a sophomore with this much potential since the old Glendora days of the Murray's and Jacobsen's.
