Wow, what a lot of C.O. haters out there. See ya after Friday. I'm out...

This was a rumor and as most rumors are, it was wrong. And I guess according to cjpacfan, I could crap in one hand and hope in the other and see which one weighs more. We'll just take one game at a time.

jcaz said:

Not to split hairs here, but I think that GIBBS said that if Charter Oak wins, they might be invited up north to play.

The last couple of State bowl games have been held in southern California, at the Home Depot Center.

While there has been talk that next years bowl games could be held in another venue, so far it's been a southern california affair.

So, if Charter Oak goes up north to play, then maybe he means that they will be playing "someone" up there rather than playing in "something" up there.

in Robledos article, Hagerty states Amat is looking for a week 1 game, CO has an opening that week, it's out there, does CO have the stones to make it happen......or will old lou remember his last bout of overconfidence, when he thought AMAT was down and they were by AMAT standards, and then they opened up a big can of whup-azz on CO, back to back years, has he forgottten? show some stones, please!

cjpackfan said:

attn, Ranked, they are 7th? and it's down to the last game so all 6 other teams must lose, I think Whitey had it right, no way in hell does CO make it to the state championship game, that cupcake schedule will come back to haunt them, along with the tie to the best team they've played............so far........first CO must win their own Division VII game

eagle20 said:

does anyone know if the Rosemead game will be televised? If so, what channel?

Ranked said:

State bowl games are possible for any team. CO is currently ranked 11th in their respective bowl division, and 4 of the teams ahead of them are not eligible because they've lost in the playoffs. That effectively puts them at 7th. It'd still be a longshot this year. Had they beat Rancho, they may have been in the top 3.

whitey said:

no way in hell CO gets to a state championship game in this year or any other year, in their division they are so far down the list, the weak schedule and weak division they play in, will have them watching on TV!

Fred, There is a rumor that if C.O. wins, they MIGHT get invited up north to play. If they do, you can't go because you turned your back on us. LOL. J/K... See everyone on Friday. I sincerely hope everyone stays healthy.
