Rankings update: When did the Bishop Amat girls soccer team become an area power? I guess now, the true test comes in league, but a great start regardless. Glendora is a solid No. 2, then the rest are still finding themselves. Los Altos lost three straight after a good start and San Dimas is in a rut too. Those on the rise are Baldwin Park, Bonita and watch out for St. Lucy’s and Walnut, I watched a good game between those two teams. They will have a lot to say before the season is finished.

Above: Walnut and St. Lucy’s go head-up last week, finishing in 1-1 tie.
