Just got word that Bishop Amat has finalized a week four game at home against powerful St. Bonaventure. Does it get much bigger than this? All St. Bonaventure did was go 14-1, beat Saugus 35-8 for the Northern Division title, then win a state bowl game a week later over Santa Rosa’s Cardinal Newman, 28-6. The Seraphs’ only loss was a close 14-6 setback against Pac-5 champion Long Beach Poly. The Lancers’ are still looking for a week one opponent, and word is they want a Pac-5 opponent.
