Do you want an NFL Stadium in Industry?

By Ben Baeder
Over objections from attorneys representing Walnut and Diamond Bar and about 20 angry residents, the Industry City Council on Thursday unanimously approved an environmental report clearing the way for a professional football stadium.
About 60 people squeezed into the standing-room-only City Council chamber before the decision. The room was peppered with people holding "No Stadium" signs. After the vote, Industry Mayor Dave Perez said he still thought the project was good for Industry and the region.

"What impressed me most was those two young people who talked about how this area needed jobs," he said of two speakers in favor of approving the report.
But about a dozen Walnut residents spoke against approving the supplemental environmental impact report (SEIR) and said they would not rest until the stadium idea was scrapped.
"Deny this final (environmental report) and shut this project down," Walnut resident Lawrence Reinhold said. "We want Walnut to file a lawsuit.
"We the people are on the move. We the people will defeat this project."
Walnut residents said they collected signatures from about 8,000 San Gabriel residents who oppose the project.
Industry in October published a supplemental environmental impact report to account for the effects of a National Football League stadium and entertainment complex proposed for about 600 acres on the east side of the city. After circulating the supplement for 40 days, the council officially approved the report Thursday.
Billionaire developer Ed Roski Jr. said last spring he wants to build a 75,000-seat stadium and a retail center near the 57/60 freeway interchange.
Roski is part owner of the Kings, Staples Center, L.A. Live and Lakers. He said he hopes to buy part of an NFL team and move it the area by the 2010, according to officials from Roski's Majestic Realty Co. The team would play in the Rose Bowl or Coliseum for a few years while the Industry stadium was built.
Roski originally planned a warehouse park and commercial center for the site.
The report approved Thursday was a supplement to the EIR for the warehouse plan, which passed in 2004.
Walnut special attorney Jan Chatten-Brown said the change from a warehouse-and-commercial center to a football stadium/entertainment complex was "dramatically different."
"These are not minor technical changes," she said in calling for a new report.
An attorney for Diamond Bar said Industry did not seriously take requests from Diamond Bar to address several issues with traffic and public safety.
"This project is simply unacceptable to Diamond Bar in its current form," attorney Jack Rubens said.
Neither attorney said whether officials in their respective client cities planned to sue Industry.
A representative from the company that drafted the supplemental report said the document was a fair estimate of impacts and complied with state law. Dwayne S. Mears, principal for The Planning Center, said his staff did its best to address concerns.
At the meeting, several area elected officials spoke in favor of the project.
Councilman Dan Holloway of La Puente said he supported the project and likened it to the building of Dodger Stadium in the 1960s. Monterey Park Mayor Frank Venti and Rosemead Councilman John Nu ez also expressed support for the project.

Yes there are some good with the bad as far as raiders fan base, but as I was flying out of ontario one sunday morning to Arizona, Raider fans were there catching a flight Southwest flight to Oakland. All dressed in Raider gear including their girlfriends or wives they were pretty much hammered at 8am. drinking, loud and obnoxious. Raiders coming back to L.A. is slim and none but I would like to see a NFL team but not in Industry. I think they had right all along by looking at the huge gravel pits in Irwindale. Put it right next to the speedway. It make sense.
Raiders suck,
I feel your pain. While I was never a Raider fan, I was at that game on an invite and from then on out, I passed up every other invite from people I know. I only went to 3 games the entire time they were here and the KC game was the last.
Like I said, not all fans are like that, I know some of them and they are my friends but no way do they act in that manner. If they did, I would not socialize with them for long but it's always the bad ones that make life miserable for everyone else.
While the chances of them coming back are slim and none, just wait until they DO come into town. Lock your doors and hide the wives and children.
BB&G,
Same senario in L.A., Denver kicked a field goal in O.T. to win the game, another Elway comeback and coming out of the stadium, a family of four with two kids one a daughter roughly 12 and their son around 9 and Gangbangers ,well cholos all around them yelling cuss words at them and one really up in Dads face. Scaring the living crap out of them. It was the most embarassing moments as I wore a Raiders jersey that day as a fan because they were the L.A. Raiders back then and I was happy the NFL was back in L.A...I never went back and gave that jersey away. I did not sell it I gave it away. Watched NFL games on TV after that. It would be a tradgedy if the Riaders came back to L.A...by the way Granny AL still thinks he owns the L.A. market and that any team that comes here must pay him royalties because he thinks the fan base is his. In a way he is right he has all the gang members but he is wrong because most hate the Raiders.
OK Joe, just read that piece you mentioned. While it does have its good points and bad, and I have never supported this idea, I know it's going to go thru anyway.
All I can say is that once this baby gets underway and is up and running, stay the hell away from that area unless you have business there. That 57/60 interchange is pure hell even on a weekend. I'd like to see what the bloggers have to say about the 60 between the 57 and 605 on the weekend. How long does it take to make it thru that stretch? Oh, and have you seen the Grand Ave. on and off ramps during the week?
While the economics might pan out, how many people are really going to be able to afford to go to a game? I read where the NFL had to reduce ticket prices for the Super Bowl this year. The CHEAP seats are now down to ONLY $500 each. How nice of them.
I rememebr the days when the game belonged to the fans but no more. Now it belongs to the corporate big shots. To quote Ray Bradbury "Something Wicked This way Comes".
Pick up todays fishwrap and see the special section on "Civic Leadership".
There is a great explanation of the project. I do agree with everyone on this point though - No Raiders!!!!
Fool me once - Shame on you
Fool me twice - Shame on me!
I think that Roski is too smart to be fooled again and wants a family oriented project. He's a good enough businessman to realize the Raiders do not provide that.
Well, I read Franks article. While some of it might seem over the top, we all know most of it is true. Even the events he witnessed at some of the games in LA, I can certainly back up as I too have seen the same thing.
I remember one game against the Chiefs where this young family was there, the dad, wife, and two sons, must have been about 9 and 7 we wearing KC colors, well it was unbelievable what the fans were yelling at these poor people. They were also throwing peanuts and other stuff at them as they went to and from their seats. talk about no class, all they did was just sit there and take the abuse. They must have never gone back again, I never did after that game.
While not all raider fans are like this, a good portion of them are and make the game experience a living hell for those supporters of other teams. When they win, they talk crap, when they lose, well watch out. I have heard of instances of the bikers, fans being totally wiped out even before the game and other happenings from people who used to be season ticket holders so it came straight from the source.
It seems to be the mentality of todays fans. What ever happened to sportsmanship? Well it went out with all the trash talking that the fans see the players do during the game and it carried from there. How many times have we witnessed it in high school sports?
The trouble is that there is no more respect in todays society and unless kids learn diffeent, we naturally have reaped what we have sowed. Is it any wonder why the world is in the condition it is today?
FYI,
Bullet points send the blog into a tizzy and it won't accept the comment.
So much for trying to present organized facts
At the start of construction, the state will start receiving revenues from construction workers’ income taxes, as well as sales taxes collected on the increased consumption and spending from the workers and their families. The TSA estimates that the Arizona State general fund will net $20 million over the 3-year course of construction.
When the NFL played Super Bowl 30 at Sun Devil Stadium in 1996, about $305 million was injected into the economy. It is projected that the impact will grow to more than $400 million when the next Super Bowl is played here, possibly as early as 2008.
For Super Bowl 30, 89,000 out-of-state visitors traveled to the Phoenix metro area for the event. Considering that Sun Devil Stadium’s capacity is 73,000, there is an attraction to the Super Bowl as an event that supercedes the actual game itself. These out-of-state visitors directly contributed $109 million in spending during the event.
Super Bowl 30 in Tempe had a television audience of more than 900 million people around the world.
The Tostitos Fiesta Bowl contributes $140 million annually to the local economy. About 70,000 out-of-town visitors come to the Valley for the event.
The Arizona Cardinals contribute $150 million to the economy annually. The Cardinals estimate that 112,000 out-of-town visitors attend home games each year.
That doesn't even count any of the surrounding business, restaurants, hotels, gas stations, etc.
There is no way that this isn't anything but a great deal if it comes to fruition. You're dealing with a quality guy like Roski who is already part owner of the Lakers, Kings, Staples Center, one of the top couple hundred wealthiest Americans, is partners with Philip Anschutz (who builds stadiums around teh world), and is a philanthropist who's giving millions of dollars to charitable organizations and schools (like USC). He's NOT going to get in bed with Al Davis. Plus, if it is the Chargers - how many of your dreaded gang members are going to adopt "Baby Blue" as their colors?
THe "Comments pending" monster has eaten this a dozen times - so I'm pouting it in segments to see what's wrong.
Walnut Resident,
This isn't your Grandpa's Coliseum or your Daddy's Rose Bowl. that is not the Stadium Blue Print any longer. The new era of stadiums that are surrounded by mixed use are economic booms for the areas (especially when the construction is with largely private funds)
Instead of thinking Coliseum and imagining that surrounding area - picture the old Inglewood Forum... and now imagine Staples Center and the surrounding LA Live complex (if you haven't been there in the last year or so - it is waaayyyy different). THAT"S what a new stadium/arena can do.
The new wave is either dropping it into the city to revive an area and actually *drive out* any some problems- or going to suburbs like Dallas(Arlington), San Francisco (Santa Clara) or Phoenix (Glendale). These areas are destinations and like putting a venue in the middle of Universal City Walk. Not too many of your gang members hanging around there.
Walnut Resident,
I'll check it out tonight and let you know
Have you seen the NO STADIUM signs being put up.? You know the ones that have the circle and line going through it. They are out there in Rowland Heights, Walnut and Diamond Bar, also saw one in City of Industry. Walnut will sue the City of Industry and delay this project. This is a pipe dream. It will not happen. Pro Football has been gone from LA for some time now. Lets keep it that way.
BB&G,
Read Frank Girardots article in todays Tribune. Page A3 local news. He is of the same opinion that Raider fans will destroy our community. Broken down Winnebagos was right on the money. Nice arrticle Frankie.
But YOUR name is still $#^* and always will be.
#*$^-U,
I heard this is how you got your name:
A young Indian boy wone day asked his father, "Father, how did I get my name?" The father said, "Son, I named you and you brother and sister for the first thing I saw as I left the teepee when you were born. For your brother I saw an Eagle overhead and named him Flying Eagle. For your sister, I saw a fawn in the meadow and named Running Dear and that is how I named my children. So tell me Two Dogs #*$^ing, why do you want to know?"
Everyone here posts under a different name. I guess your momma named you the The real Bleeds Blue and Gold????GTF OUT OF HERE
Well, well, well, did you know that only the lowest form of life posts under another name, which you appear to be? Talk about NO class! Thanks for clearing that up for us.
Just look around the neighborhood of L.A. Memorial Coliseum. This ladies and gentleman is what Walnut and Diamond Bar will end up looking like. This is why the Rosebowl does not have a NFL Team. Pasadena does not want to be trashed. If this is a done deal and the stadium should be built I am selling out of Walnut and moving to Glendora, Brea or Yorba Linda. I will not want to see or be a part of what the decay will look like 5 years after the Stadium is built.
L.A. wants a football team and Roski wants to build it, then find a space in ELA or South Central and build it there where the low life gangsters already live. Let them continue to tear those cities down. To put the stadium in a place next to beautiful cities like Walnut and Diamond Bar is plain stupidity. These are good hardworking prospering families that moved here to get away from all that L.A. City action. This is prime living area that do not need a football stadium built by them. Keep it in the slums, their animals there anyways so let them lose their soles.
"If you build it they will come" Thats right the Raiders are coming back. Their fans, well you guessed it, they will burn the cities of Walnut, Diamond Bar and the City of Industry down to the ground and make it look in five years like a South Central / East L.A. shyt-hole.
Lets see avg. $80 per ticket for a family of four $320. Parking $25 (mild estimation) Food $10 / beer $5.00 hot dogs. $5.00/coke cola.
Family of four
320 tix
25 park
20 2-beers for dad
20 4 hot dogs
15 3-cokes
total 400 to attend a game.
NFL TICKET ALOT CHEAPER
AVOIDING RAIDERS FANS AND WHAT THET STAND FOR (SCUM)
PRICELESS.
STADIUM PLAN IS A HOAX!
By bringing an NFL team to the SGV the super bowl can now be played either in the rose bowl or the new NFL stadium bringing in millions of dollars to the LA area. In addition Roski will be building a shopping center and more tax dollars to the city of industry/sgv area. Look what the staples center did for downtown LA a run down place and now a hip place to visit(LA live) and live. The metrolink runs close by and they can shuttle people to the games. Look for NFL teams to try to relocate to the vast LA area and take advantage of the huge LA market. USC and UCLA football is good however without a college playoff there is no excitement in the college game.
Why anyone would be opposed to such a great project just baffles me!!
So traffic would probably get bad at times.. SO WHAT!! Look at all the positives that this would bring to our region..
If this does go through I hope we get the Jaguars to relocate.
Im a proud Raider fan & sorry to disapoint all you that come on here & bash the Raider Nation but you guys can continue to talk all the crap that you want! You know you love to hate us!! We are not the only team that is glorified by gangs so walnut insider why do you even bother to mention "do you remember what NWA would wear in their videos??" Every team has their set of bad apple fans..
eff the stadium project. last thing walnut wants is a bunch of cholos and their out of town vato homeboys ruining the area.
if we wanted these people in our area, we'd move to ghetto *** el monte.
I'm torn on this one. I would love nothing more than for the SGV to get some recognition and respect, and an NFL stadium/team would surely validate the SGV in the eyes of So.Cal.
However, I'm not sure about the added traffic, what may happen to the adjacent neighborhoods and towns in 10-20 years, and quite honestly I am perfectly happy with USC and UCLA football.
Hey fred what gives on not giving any recognition to Dennis Rufus the super sophmore from Charter oak He made Maxpreps ALL-AMERICAN second team. let me say that again ALL AMERICAN. that means he is one of the top prospects in the nation. just you watch his senior year he is going to be the biggest recruit coming out of san gabriel valley. Just watch when pete carrol is banging on his front door asking for his services.
I don't have a video with my girlfriend. but i have one with your WIFE!! ohhhhhhhhh sorry to inform you about that. Brent seals probally doesn't even know your name, get a life. " oh brent seals is so good he's here to save the football word" shut up alright shut up! he is going to ucla and ucla sucks i don't know if you've noticed that. and he runs the 40 in 4.60 maybe that's why he's going to ucla. haha get a life loser. i'am going to go play golf and go touch your wife good bye.
Brent's Honor,
"...MFing hard work!!!!!!"
Above is a part of your post and correct me if I am wrong but that kind of language is probably not appropriate representing a parochial school. I do not believe that is the kind of ethical and moral value system Bishop Amat preaches so shame on you and repent for your sin.
Bishop Amat please continue to post enlightening comments. Dear God...
worst,
Where's YOUR video? And I'm not talking about the one with you and your girlfriend
worst video ever

The world is yours young one...I know you will make the Alumni proud. Mighty where you then, are now, and forever will you be Mr. Seals....
You and those like you are the San Gabriel Valley's hope for the future...
Elitists in the upper class residents in Walnut and Diamond Bar oppose the stadium because of misconceeptions. They mask biases and prejudices in their cocerns about traffic and crowds that are revealed by others in racist and class posts and letters. Anyone who checks what it costs to go to NFL games knows it runs into big bucks. Those people are not going to trash our communities. Those selling food, fuel, shelter and parking to those fans and workers are going to get fat. Taxes on those sales will enrich the cities. It sounds like Walnut would like to fence us out or wall themselves in. What must they think of the almost daily influx of us thousands of average joes and janes into MSAC?
the two teams (eventually) coming are the rams and chargers, and the jags will be moving to st.louis!!
footbvall fan
I completely agree. The only thing that is missing is a light rail line from the greater Los Angeles area to the stadium.
A line such as that would be so huge that it would serve not only the sports fans in general, but also the folks who are commuting on a day to day basis to work every day.
For 10 years I have been saying that would be the best place in Souther California to build a stadium. You have freeway access from the 10-60-57-210, your have rail service from the Inland Empire and the greater LA area. This would give us a true stadium where high school championships could be held, concerts and other majof events. There are some local hotels that would benifit as well as resturants. In this economic time why would you turn down this possibility. You have the property that would be developed by one of the major developers in the area and he is willing to flip a good part of the cost. Diamond Bar and Walnut will adjust.
I really think an NFL would be good for Walnut and the neighboring cities, as long as the team is not the Raiders. Whether you like it or not, the Raiders are associated with gangs and thugs...anyone remember what NWA used to wear in their videos? Heck, I remember when Raiders apparel was banned on high school campuses, including Walnuts.
With that said, a team and stadium would bring in some extra revenue to Walnut's Village. The one problem I still see is the 57/60 interchange. Even with the total rebuilding of that interchange it still jams up everyday. How will it look on Sunday when you have thousands of cars trying to make their way through?
Do the people of EastValley and Pomona Valley need a NFL Stadium? Hell yes!
Walnut and Diamond Bar will make local business rock.
Quick WALNUT build a hotel and better eating locations.
Sheriff dept please erect a roadblock to keep RAIDERS and their nasty fans west of the 605 fwy.
I hate to dissapoint all the angry Walnut residents but technically the proposed land for the stadium is NOT even in Walnut. If anything its in in unincorporated part of Industry and part of Diamond Bar. i really could not understand why Walnut residents were getting so bent out of shape over the issue.
This one's easy:
- no tax payer dollars spent
- NFL guarantee for a team
- NFL guarantee for start up date
- architectural review board open to public
- city commitment to fund green space / public parks to offset development
- make it the first LEED certified building in the NFL
- % of project dollars committed to roadway improvements and full landscape plan
- entire process open to public review
THEN maybe "yes" on the stadium.
Please watch the following video and know that we have and always will represent our home...
This video comes from the heart of La Puente with branches extending throughout the San Gabriel Valley...
Before you challenge our Alma Mater, I encourage you to watch this video...It's brand new...

I am in favor of having a NFL team in the City of Industry. LA needs a professional football team that the entire city can rally around. When the laker and dodgers are doing well the whole city is energized. Since we stole the lakers from Minnesota we may as well take the Vikings. Teams like Buffalo,Jacksonville or San Diego may want to change addresses and we can have he original LA Chargers back. Anyone except the Raiders.
HECK YES!!!!
AN NFL STADIUM AND TEAM WOULD BE AWESOME!!!
AT LAST...TAILGATE PARTIES THAT RIVAL BISHOP AMAT'S!!!
RIGHT ON!
Since NY and Florida each have three teams, any of the 6 should be a team that should move west to California and take up residence in the new stadium. Jets, Giants,Bills,Dolphins,Bucs,Jags take your pick.
Hey didn't we not relocate the Dodgers from Brooklyn NY when they were full of baseball teams.
I want them to keep Al Davis alive as long as they can so that Raiders can continue to suck. It was great when they came here and the Raiders were decent, but once the gang members got a hold of it and turned it ugly the Raiders were more then welcome to go back to Oakland. I would hate to see them come back here, as it is they left behind their cockroaches of fans here to wreck havoc over our city and for what a football team. Those who tattooed themselfs with any type of Raider logo is a total loser.
Fred
This would be a great boost for the area and economy as long as they don't bring the "RAIDERS" back. Then I will fight it because I don't want any Raider fans coming near DB.
very bad idea, bad for traffic and the enviorment, bad for Diamond Bar and Walnut, crime rate will rise in these areas..
All I have to say is, Curses, he stole my topic.
I am for the stadium only if we get a expansion team and start out fresh and new. Altho the NFL does not plan to expand anytime soon it makes sense to put a team in the L.A. market, after all this is Hollywood. The Idea of the Chargers,Rams and especially the Raiders is not a good idea. They left. Lets start new L.A.
I like the idea as long as the Raiders are not the team involved. Anyone remember what good old Alice Davis did to the city of Irwindale? He was paid a cool 10 mil just for considering the city as a place the Raider's could move to. He took the money and ran and Irwindale was left holding the bag. Now the city was stupid for even proposing this idea but Davis is a schrewd business man. Also Davis has practicly run the Faiders into the ground with his mis management. The other poster was right about the gang element that is associated with the team. I caught a game at Oakland Coliseum a few back and right at kick off Raider fans started lighting up joints. Every thing you hear about Raiders fans is true.
I for one wouldn't mind seeing the Chargers here however the Spanos aren't exactly going to win a lot of fans. The Spanos are the ones who fired shottenheimer after a 14-2 season! It does makes sense from them to move here for the reason's Joe Amat stated. The key to his is which team would move here however it's going to be interesting to see how this all plays out.
It's not only a Stadium but an entire entertainment complex similar (but on a smaller scale) than the LA Live project surrounding Staples Center. Permanent jobs. Permanent business. Hotels. Permanent revenue. Great for our region. The days of stadiums being in blighted areas are over. Now when I go to cities and see the action surrounding the stadiums it is a great happening. I can't wait until they develop the parking lots at Dodger Stadium. I think with classier venues you even get a better clientele at the games. (BTW - ever been to the area surrounding Oakland-Alameda. Was there for a Warrior game nextdoor. Ouch!! Why Davis moved back is beyond me)
It's not just construction workers that will be employed, what about the Stadium staff? or service providers for the stadiums?
If the project is solely on their dime and they do not ask for city money AND can do something about traffic and more importantly Safety then I think the upside is better...
FACT!,
BUT are those construction jobs permanent or manned solely bay workers living in the SGV?
WestCo Resident
it will bring thousands of construction jobs instantly...
go to...http://www.losangelesfootballstadium.com/
and look at what they want to build
The same guy who did staples center wants to do this how did staples work out???
Scrap this plan. The inherent bad WILL outweigh the good.People talk like this project will bring in jobs instantly. These planners should be sued a la 710 expansion freeway style. 25+ yrs later, still no freeway.
From what I understand the Stadium is a matter of time. The most likely tenant is actually the San Diego Chargers - which would be GREAT for the entire region. The location is in the precise center of Santa Barbara to San Diego and maximizes the population center.
Still not too terribly far to make a trip up the 5/15/Metrolink for San Diego fans and just as far for Santa Barbara - as well as the entire LA?OC Metropolitan areas. Roski is no dummy.
Here's the deal. San Diego and the Chargers are at odds over their stadium. The City just sued the Chargers over a real small amount (comparitively) and seem to be nitpicking. They LOSE money on Qualcomm every year. It's not pretty down there. The Chargers have a buyout clause in their lease with the City that allows them to move from Feb 1 (around the corner) to May 1 every year until 2020 when the lease runs out. The buyout now is over $50 mil goes down a bit next year - but 2011 is the magic year when it drops to $26 million - a pittance compared to the cost of the entire project. This "delay" they are experiencing is perfect for the timing of the byuout. Roski could pay the buyout in exchange for part ownership - and has already discussed part-ownership with the Spanos family (owners of the Bolts),
Representative say they are trying to work things out to find a way to get a new stadium built in SD - but in today's economy, getting money for a new project is crazy. Roski already has this deal put together.
San Gabriel Valley - show me your lightning bolts!!
SEASON TICKETS! TAILGATING! SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT TIME...THIS WOULD BE SGV TEAM!
This stadium Idea must not happen, I dont care what it does for jobs, economy etc. It is pure B.S. Roski does no own a NFL team and he needs to own one before he can place one here. Well guess who is getting old and will sell Roski part of his team, you guessed it "Al Davis" owner of the Raiders. Dont be fooled again this stadium is being built for the Raiders and the Raiders only. You can bet these two Roski and Davis are already in bed together and are scheming to get this done. Does anyone really want the Raiders back, I mean we have their fans here and look what they have done to the nice place called Dodger Stadium With no L.A. Raider football these fans have turned Dodger stadium into a drunken raider party scene everytime there is a home game. Cholos errr gang members everywhere. Does the city really need this. KEEP AL DAVIS AND ALL HIS RIFF RAFF OUT OF L.A.
The most likely teams to come to LA if I'm not mistaken are the Minnesota Vikings or the Jacksonville Jags. If either of the two could come within a few years that would be sweet.
Adrian Peterson playing in the SGV? or
Maurice Jones-Drew in SGV?
hmm that would be exciting!
Does anybody actually know if it is almost close to getting approved? And how soon could they start building? Joe amat?
Anybody? Thanks
I can't hear the City of Industry mentioned without thinking about the scam the city fathers perpetrated on the County when they incorporated back in 1956. No doubt some of the old timers here will remember the expose written in the old Herald Examiner about it some 25 years later. Several of the Industry luminaries ended up in the Terminal Island Pen when the piece stirred a Grand Jury investigation although that was years after they and their families had made millions from the city hood deal.
What's even more hilarious, is that Industry has received more tax dollars from the County over the last 20 years than any other single city in the state while charging no business taxes at all to those operating in the city. That's not to mention there are only about 800 residents of the City of Industry, a speck in a county of more than 10 million.
Sounds like Dave Perez is just carrying on the tradition of the Industry old timer's.
A local team would be nice for everyone.
The economy is in a rut and this might just help lift employment in our home towns for everyone.
I do understand the congestion it would cause in and around the area but you have to give to get.
yes we need a team in LA its been a long time since we had a team. it wont affect traffic those snobs in walnut shouldnt even care because majority of people in LA wants a team, If they did a vote in LA county it would pass. It would bring more money to their city and more jobs for the people and if walnut is smart they would get more hotels because people will be using them and their city actually be on the map. cant wait till they do it
Hell yes bring a Football Stadium...Just think about what it could bring...Superbowl, World Cup + thousands of jobs
Those snobs that live in Walnut need to wake up and smell the coffee the SGV could use a project like this and stop worrying about traffic...I got news for u football is on sunday when there is no traffic...
