This poor woman, just can't believe that this actually happens in this day and age, what a shame.

(CNN) -- Three police cars pulled into Christina FourHorn's front yard one afternoon just before she was supposed to pick up her daughter at school. The officers had a warrant for her arrest.

"What do you mean robbery?" FourHorn remembers asking the officers. Her only brushes with the law had been a few speeding tickets.

She was locked up in a Colorado jail. They took her clothes and other belongings and handed her an oversize black-and-white striped uniform. She protested for five days, telling jailers the arrest was a mistake. Finally, her husband borrowed enough money to bail her out.

"They wouldn't tell me the details," she said.

Later, it became clear that FourHorn was right, that Denver police had arrested the wrong woman. Police were searching for Christin Fourhorn, who lived in Oklahoma.

you're right, workman hasn't done much, but this season has shown drastic improvement. for the past two seasons workman has finished the season with .500 record, and has came up just short of the montview league title(2nd place back to back times). but this year they will finish the season 19-5, and they took down south hills by 18, ayala by 5, and reached the championship of a tough tournoment. this hasn't been done at workman in a great while. so they have done ALOT this season. workman beat south hills by 18 and nogales only beat them by 6. i'm not saying that automatically means workman can beat nogales, but it can get some people thinking. i hope workman gets to play diamond ranch next season..... i think without a doubt workman will be the top team in the valley next year. they're only losing 2 players.

Don't coaches develop talent or do they just wait for it to fall from the sky? This argument didn't work when it was used in football and it won't work now. I know I played on both teams last year. Try something different. Blaming the talent pool is why coaches get fired. Try walking on to any program and see how poorly coached you've been compared to most. Stay out of Damien's affairs unless you've actually dealt with these two. They are both liars and hold grudges with parents and take their pettiness out on the players.

I would think that Josh Giles would be the next Glendora coach. Giles is the present coach at Corona Centennial and has won a cifss title. I heard today that one of the super sophs at CCHS will be heading to Mater Dei next year.

damien loses to ayala, workman beats ayala. damien is ranked 5th and workman is ranked 9th???? maybe those two teams should switch spots. i mean, i know its hard to define how good workman is right now because they've been beating up on the montview league every single game. every league game for workman has been over by halftime. but i think workman can take down many of the top teams in the valley. chris cunningham from diamond ranch might be a little too much size for the lobos, but junior carlos molina does an outstanding job playing physical with the big boys. he shut down la puentes 6'6 man and made him uncomfortable all game long. i hope workman plays in the apu shootout next year.

All those schools have an abundance of division 1 athletes and deep pocket athletic programs so why is Cathedral and Salesian getting it done ? Shut up and play! Every team in CIF has problems, injuries and illnesses. Not very school makes up excuses or looks for them.

For those of you pathetic individuals that have ripped Coach Dunn recently, I'd love to know what your solution is. It's really seems easy to make assumptions when you haven't attended a practice or really have a limited understanding of the game of basketball. If you are a parent, shame on you! You are what's wrong with a private education. You want things your way, go to Burger King! There isn't a person that comes on this board that wouldn't say that the Sierra league is one of the toughest in southern california! Why then does he get so much criticism when his team struggles against 2 HOF coaches, the #1 Team in the league by everyones account and 1 loss to a talented, but respectless DB team? 13-4, roughly, going into this "Tough" League. They have struggled and everyone knows it, they are high school kids that attend classes all day (and to a high degree being Damien students, at least that's what I'm told). I want to make it clear that I think they are a good team, but I have seen them play several times this season and can say they are not CIF champions! They aren't any better than Glendora & Ayala, & Diamond Bar has one of the most talented players in the league in Kasey Barlow.

A couple of thoughts:

Has the team hit a slump at the wrong time? It happens every season to every team.

Have they been hit with illness? It happens every season to every team.

Is their talent level better than the other teams in the league? Sorry, seen'em all and the answer is NO, except Chino!

BONITA 68 LOS ALTOS 46 I know it is only Los Altos but it was a league win. Cody Bennett scored 17pts with 9 rebounds and led his team in both, again. Just had to post somewhere because we get NO coverage from the papers.

I personally know Jake Vieth and he is one of the nices kids you will ever meet; he gives 100% all the time. Chino Hills the best team in that league so Glendora will have to settle for 2nd.

Nice to see all the dads who are wannabe coaches and whose kids were cut out on the message board... no one seemed too upset with coach dunn when he took a program that had won 15 games the previous two years and within four years took them to a 23 win season... 19 wins last year and 13 wins coming into league this year... all these great players that are supposedly on the damien bench... has anyone seen what happens to them when they get into games? pretty ugly.

tony vela? really? wow. well let's see... tony was a hothead who was totally loyal to the previous coach because he was brought up to varsity as a freshman. he wouldn't have liked any new coach. he just also happened to be a great club soccer player throughout high school, and quit basketball to play soccer his senior year. oh and he led the damien soccer team to a CIF championship and was division 1 player of the year! and went on to play soccer in college... that just seems like a good decision on his part, not anything wrong with coach dunn...

McKnight's replacement is going to have a great resume as a head coach or the job will go to his long time assistants, not some scrub coach from la verne who cant even win a league championship, they expect cif and state championships at Mater Dei not to be competivitive in league but always fall short. that is the story of Dunn's career at Damien- talent but always chokes in big games, cant win league, 1st round cif exits.

The players at Chapman and ULV are Justin Riley and Griffin Ramme at Chap, ULV- Brian Mancilla, Trevor Woodland, Austin Napolitano. Those kids are not D1 players flat out, they are D2 and D3 kids and i wish them well, they are doing good there

The Pit hates Dunn? That because most tried out and failed making the team. Dunn has an incredible eye for talent but players like Hickey and James gave up on themselves.

Dunn is experiencing an Obama backlash with his minority players who feel empowered to question time proven successful methods.

The Dunn system works ! Look at his comer players who could have gone D1 but instead chose to give back to the community at ULV and Chapman U. Something few coaches encourage these days.

I do know the difference between a good coaching system and a bad one and Damien has a bad one. It starts freshman year and goes downhill from there.

Don't believe me? Ask Johnathan Johnson or Jesse Maxwell about Dunn's system.

Jake has a desire to be great. He would do well anywhere. I wouldn't start Kenny, but he'd be a contributor off of the bench for my team. BTW, Kenny complains about Dunn alot. He complained about Morrison during football season as well.

cool as a cucumber you have a very accurate assessment of your players and a suspect one of ours. comapring dunn to le duc is like comparing a nissan DT-R to a 911 turbo. one is a flash in the pan with an occassional "comparo" win while the is the "standard" by which all others measure themselves.

kenny and jake are a product of dunn's basketball system but neither would play the same role at glendora nad that's why both are spartans.

imagine jake and kenny at glendora. would jake be a three year starter? and would kenny have sat on the bench last year and started this year for glendora...or chino hills for that matter?

Damien by 26 ! or by 1....Damien wins tonight. Chris and Chris go for a combined 40! The Lathams run outta gym and Malcom and Mike dominate the boards. Maxwell D up's and Sparta runs wild.

Let's compare Damien and Glendora. These are two pretty evenly matched teams.

Damien is a little more athletic and Glendora is a better overall shooting team.

Jake Veith and Kosmond Russell are the type of players that any coach would be happy to have running their offense.

Each team has solid, but not great, big men. Chris Reyes may one day become a superstar. Brian Downard pulls down alot of rebounds and blocks shots.

For Damien, the Latham brothers can jump out of the gym. For Glendora, Juan Martinez and Brad Gatlin are very intelligent ball players.

Tartan Calvin Smith can shoot the lights out. Spartan Chris Adams can as well.

Players like Glendora's Aaron Stockham and Damien's Kenny Serafinko are necessary role players who can determine the outcome of a game with a clutch basket or a heads up defensive play.

So why is Glendora 4-1 and Damien 1-4 in league? Why did Glendora win by 20 at their gym? Why will Glendora probably win by 10 tonight?

That's easy.

Glendora has a great coach in Mike LeDuc. Damien has Matt Dunn.
